I really wanted this salon to work for me because it's very convenient to where I live and work. Unfortunately, after giving it one last try today, I had another poor experience. During my dip manicure, the nail tech repeatedly dug her short nail into the sides of my fingers. I asked her to stop, but it continued, and I found myself flinching away at least 20 times over the two hours it took to complete the service. It was uncomfortable and honestly stressful. There was also an awkward seating issue -- the nail tech's legs were positioned under my chair, making it unclear where I was supposed to place my own legs. I've never experienced that before, and combined with the discomfort during the service, it added to an already unpleasant experience. The nails were cut extremely short and filed very rounded, more like a child's nail shape than a modern dip manicure. The color selection also feels outdated and doesn't reflect current trends. Pedicures here are just okay, but overall I've found that consistency and technique vary significantly between nail techs. I truly wanted to support a local business that's close by, but after multiple attempts, I won't be returning. read more

Finn was able to take my walk-in appointment at 5pm on a Wednesday with no wait time! I needed my dip nails removed followed by a regular manicure (total of $27 on 12/14/2022). He was very detail-oriented and carefully did the dip removal. Other technicians were having conversations with their clients, which is always something I appreciate. Many clients seemed to be repeats (a good sign) and even two younger men were in there getting manis/pedis done. I was in town for business and stopped in for a pedicure. By far it was the worst pedicure I have EVER gotten. The staff was rude and the nail tech was rushed and just wanted to be done asap. Been regularly getting mani's, pedi's and acrylics here for a couple of years. Overall comparable pricing to salons in the area and good quality service. The only reason I give 3 verse 4 stars is they have been terrible at keeping appointments. I've had multiple times I've had appointments days in advance and have been called once the night before and once while I was already in my way to the appointment. Another time I left the salon asked to return a couple hours later came back to sit and wait another 45 minutes. After the last time I was rescheduled when I actually had a function I could not reschedule for I started going to another salon in the area. read more

I have been going to Classy Nails for years. Today I had a horrible experience. I spent $50 on a pedicure... as I went to give Vivian a $10 tip, I mentioned to her that my big toe had a smudge (not bc of anything I did) and my skin was painted, and asked if she could please fix it. She took the tip and asked me to sit down in the chair and walked away. I sat there for 10 minutes and finally asked the man (the owner) at the desk if she was coming back. He told me she was busy with someone else. I was very confused as I thought she was going to fix my nail. I asked him if he could fix it and he persisted to tell me the was nothing wrong with the nail. My skin was clearly painted and there was a smudge where my skin meets the nail. Simple fix. I wasn't asking for anything for free or being rude, I just wanted my nails to look nice as I just paid for them. I explained this to him and he continued to tell me there was nothing he could do... there was nothing wrong with it. He could put another layer on if I wanted. I turned to the girl next to me and said 'am I crazy?' She said 'let me see what you are talking about' , I showed her and she then said 'oh yeah- that's messed up.' She then tried to explain to the guy what was wrong and he then told her that there was nothing wrong with it. I was very confused like I was on the show punked or something. I explained that I have been coming here for years and I just want my nail to look nice... he then pretended like he didn't speak English or understand me. I was completely blown away. I said whatever you have to do to please fix it, do so. Again, he stood there was nothing wrong with it. Finally I said I'm not going to argue with you, you just lost a customer and walked out with my smudged nail. Looking back I can think of multiple instances where I have seen people being treated this way there bc they had a cracked nail or chipped nail, but it never happened to me... what it comes down to is that once my bill was paid and the tip was given- they no longer care. Customer service goes right out the window. I am always nothing but polite, tip well, and am kind. They seem to cater more to people who speak loudly on their cell phones while getting their nails done than respectful customers. Such a shame. I do not recommend this place! read more

I hate myself for not getting the name of the girl. But overall is very clean place. They don't speak much English so make sure your very clear on what you want. Horrible experience today!! I took myself and my 2 daughters here. They had a good experience with they girls that did their nails but my nail tech was a JERK! His name is Ryan. I went there to get 2 of my broken nails fixed and he was unhelpful in trying to find the color match. He didn't want to assist with even 2 colors. Then I told him to shape my nail better and he just totally blew off saying "it's fine". I ended up shaping it myself while he watched. I then told him that he was unhelpful and rude so he replied "So are you"! Really??? Is this what you call customer service? I then asked for his name and he told me "I don't have a name". I spoke with the lady manger and updated her that this man was awfully rude and unhelpful. I'm a Bloomingdale local and been to this place 5x. My daughters and I will never return. Sandra is awesome this is my second visit and each time she has met all my nail needs plus acrylic nails lasted for weeks with no chipping. The nail artist in there are very nice and I've recommended them to my best friend who also enjoys this location. During my visit there was a customer complaint about spilled nail polish on their Uggs boots.
