Customer service is TRASH! Lady at the front desk is rude. And it's very inconvenient that she is the only English speaking employee, because if you don't want to deal with her rudeness there is no one else to assist you. Literally just needed air and was told I had to wait 20 minutes. The employee "working" on the car was doing absolutely nothing and could have easily put the air in my tire or simply just handed over the hose. Which EVERY tire shop allows. read more

Michelle and I were driving through town on the way to Las Vegas and got a nail in our tire. We pulled off the highway and imeadiately found Rock Tire. The owner was standing outside as we pulled in, like he was waiting for us. 15 minutes later he had repaired our tire, checked the air in all the others and had us ready to go. He didn't try to upsell us a new or used tire even though he easily could have. Total cost was $15. Only time will tell if the patch holds, but as of now I'd highly recommend Rock if you're in the area. read more

Got a nail in our tire just before getting into Barstow for the night. It was late when we arrived, nowhere to go to get a tire fixed on a Saturday night. Rock Tire opened 800am on Sunday. Terrible experience. To start, they didn't even have the correct tool to remove the lug nuts... Then they didn't have the proper lug nuts to replace the ones they stripped... Then, my husband and i found out from a mechanic friend of ours that the did something wrong when replacing the tires and two tires wobbled when they were removed and rolled. When we went in to ask that those tires be replaced, they said they couldn't do that. We will never go back to this shop again. read more

I was in town visiting family for the weekend and discovered a completely flat tire when preparing to head home. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find anywhere to take my car on a Sunday, but was pleasantly surprised to find that Rock Tires was open and had no line. Both workers that I encountered were very friendly and knowledgeable. I thought I'd need to replace the tire entirely, but they insisted on checking to see if the tire was fixable first (which it was!) and charged just a minimal fee to patch it. They also refilled the air in the spare I used to drive to the shop and provided recommendations for how soon my tires should be replaced (I knew I'd need to be getting new tires soon, but wasn't sure how soon). Great service and a great price. So glad to know this shop is in town! read more

we used Rock Tires on a road trip in July 2019, we had 4 trailer tires replaced due to a bow out on one tire. they had the correct tire, and we went up one road range ratting too. the service was fast and the price was excellent. based on our issue, I have purchased trailer tires in the past in two other out of our area due to issues, and Rock Tire was Great on service and pricing! read more

My friend drove my car to Barstow from LA and said that I needed to balance my tires so we stopped at Rock Tires on Main Street. The owner said he would charge $15 to balance two tires, it was half what I had to pay in LA so my friends suggested that I balanced all 4 tires. He then noticed that my front tires were worn out and perhaps should consider getting new one. The owner said he won't charge for mounting nor balancing the new tire. I normally change two tires at the same time so I purchased two tires from him and with that purchase, he didn't charge me the $15 to balance the two rear tires. This made my savings even better. My friend who is expect of car said the owner did an excellent job in balancing the tires. He lives near Barstow and will certainly go to Rock Tires for any tire work that he needs. read more
