These guys really messed up my entire Friday Before bringing my car I called and asked if I needed an appointment for an oil change on my vehicle, The guy who answered (Issac) said they take walk in's 7 days a week I headed straight to ATD when I got there a gentleman by the name of Luis Got my info my car info and said my car would be ready in about 1hr and half I got picked up waited at home then I get a call from (Luis) and told me they didn't have the oil my car needed and proceed to say that if I provide the oil and oil filter that they would only charge me labor work long story short I brought them the oil I then went home and get a call by Luis again saying that their mechanic had left for the day and they could no longer change the oil on my car this was really unfortunate although Luis was very apologetic and I understand it was not his fault I was still very upset this happened this should not happen to anyone ever that's why I am writing this unfortunate review, below is a picture of a blank sheet of paper the manger signed stating that I have a free oil change in the future but since I can't trust this place I will avoid going back i have to post it here read more

Came in for oil change. They claimed many things wrong. They put to much oil in my car was smoking. They were going to let me leave like that I complained they then drained oil . I checked oil next day.it was about 3/4 low.on oil. They did offer me a free oil change but I will not be back read more

Horrible!! stay Away, I went in there for a tire repair ended up with a quote for shocks etc work for $1800, proceeded with the service, a day later went back because of clunking sound, left with another quote for brakes, calipers etc $1200, decided on a second opinion, it was their shocks that were defective, I went to 3 different locations Barstow, pacoima and finally in hesperia they repaired "1" shock and left two different brands on each side. The worst place to go is here in Barstow they lie and they over quote and price you and they clearly don't know what they're doing. They quoted me for work that didn't need to be done when I confronted the manager he said we're humans we make mistakes but we can cover maybe half the cost you have spend on repairs, I never went back I dread that place, I cut my losses and emailed their company, Stay away from them!!! Willing to help! We were traveling cross country and were in need of an oil change. We were hoping to get in somewhere first thing in the morning as we had a 6 hour drive that day. We called ahead the day before and our friends at American Tire Depot said if we were there when they opened he would get us in as fast as possible. On the morning we came in they took us in pretty quick after opening but took a bit to get the change done as they were out of oil filters and had to have one delivered. Once it arrived they got us done and we were very appreciative. Would recommend if you need to get something done on your car. read more

The service that was provided to me by Alexander and his staff was hands-down the best you can get!!! I didn't have an appointment although I would recommend one as I was lucky to only have one person in front of me. They did an alignment check tire pressure while I waited. Needless to say I wasn't there very long and for a good price. You get what you pay for it since then I drove it across country towing an empty car trailer and back and the alignment still holding strong. Thank you guys. I highly recommend this place. read more

Had a flat tire on the way to big bear. Called them. They said they can help us. Went to their tire shop. The tire my car needs is available. Staff were very helpful. They replaced my tire in 15 minutes. Checked the pressure on the other wires. In less than 30 minutes, we are back on the road and safely arrived to our destination. Great service! read more

I scheduled an appointment to have my tires swapped. In the appointment I put my car make/model (Tesla Model Y). After American Tire Depot changed my tires, I noticed there was a tire alert that had not been cleared and my tire pressure was reading 10 PSI low. I asked the mechanics to fix it, who then informed they don't have equipment compatible with a Tesla Model Y so they can't fix it and that I should not worry about it, just trust the tire pressure is correct and to not worry about the alert. I let them know I lived 30 minutes away and just wanted it fixed, only to again be assured these were not important and I should just drive further and hope the problem remedied itself. It did not. American Tire Depot, specifically Erick Cruz, is Superior in providing customer service!! I came in for an oil change, but because they perform a thorough review of your vehicle, I was shown several repairs that they recommended would be necessary to keep me safe - I.e., separating/split tire tread on the inner side of my tires that I would never have seen if my car wasn't on the lift; and a number of other issues that could create further damage to my car. I put a lot of miles on my car, so the special attention was highly appreciated. There was no pressure to take immediate action on all of their recommendations. However, as I told Erick, I have confidence and past experience in the level of service they provide; and consider them as "doctors" for my vehicle. Sometimes you just have to prepare yourself for bad news, but in the end, they have your best interest at the forefront in keeping you safe on the road. read more

Absolutely LOVED our experience at the Barstow shop! I was on my way to Vegas with my sister. While driving, my sister noticed my truck steering wheel starting to shake. Decided to stop in at this location and get ny tires check out. My right front tire had a bulge and wad at risk of blowing out! Randy and his crew got the job done while we ate lunch nearby.
