Last month, shortly after moving to a townhome, in the hottest month of the year, in the middle of summer (you get the picture), we went to take a drive to California but broke down (our tire blew out) about six miles from a rest stop in Barstow. We called AAA but in the triple digit heat, on the freeway, about an hour and a half later, our temporary tire was installed. Imagine our surprise when we tried six shops, starting with Wal-mart, and some other small tire shops along Main Street, like Mota's, but none had my size tire. They had a slightly wider tire, so we were elated, we finally found a tire shop that made a suggestion and alternative to staying in Barstow if the tire was ordered. The other tires were cracking, so we ended up getting three new tires for a little over $300, about $326 with tax. THANK YOU for saving the day. My daughter went there from the recommendation of the tow truck driver. When she got there they told her the only tire they had was 100$ I told her absolutely not to have them install it but they continued to proceed and told her they could install a used one for 40$. I only spent 50$ at Walmart for each of these tires so I told her to tell them to stop working on her car and she would go elsewhere. They then proceeded to tell her that now they we're going to charge her for labor. 15$!!! She left crying cause she felt so intimidated by all the men there. I do not recommend this place if you're on a budget. She also learned a lesson to not hand over her keys before knowing how much she would be paying. read more

Not necessarily impressed with the place. Took my Smart Car there about a month ago to get tires fitted on some new rims I had purchased. When I walked in the door it took about 20 minutes for anyone to even notice I was there at the front desk. Then another 20 minutes of standing there waiting for I'm not exactly what for, after telling him what tire size I wanted. I left the car, came back about an hour later and it was all done. I drove off and after hopping on the highway and driving less than 5 miles I realized my steering wheel was shaking like crazy once I reached 60+mph. I called, they said they balanced 0 but to come back and they'll look at it. I drove back, and a young kid working there just said I needed centric hub rings. I wasn't 100% sure if he was wrong or right, so I just said okay no problem I will order these and went on my way. After doing research on the rim I purchased, and the car itself - I realized that the bore was exactly the same size, meaning, the lack of centric rings werent the issue. I decided to take it to another tire shop, and yep, sure enough, they were completely unbalanced - once rebalanced at a totally different shop, the shaky steering wheel went away. tldr; took rims here for tires. bad customer service. tires werent balanced properly. unqualified technicians. read more

Car tires are okay but doing the car tint is $700 for a car is hella expensive, plus been contacting for 7 straight business days for putting the sub woofer onto a car and whenever I called then they say that the person just left and call them next day, contacted next day and someone else says call them after 30 minutes, been contacting but nobody takes responsibility for anything? We have a triple axle trailer. Told us to pull into the lot beside their shop. Terrible service, I'm mainly upset on the wait it took for the removal of my tire from my rim. 40+ min and wasn't a busy day. After I left this location I looked at my rims and they are scratched really bad. I'm assuming from them having a difficult time removing my rim from my old tire to replace. This place is the best around barstow. I took my 2003 ford escape to get a new radio put in. They were pretty busy for the day. So it took a couple hours to finish for me. The radio wasn't fitting properly. So they had to reshape it. And made it look like it belonged there. It looks amazing. And sounds really good. The wait was wroth it. I was stranded and was in a panic! Frankie's tires refused to help me because I only had my credit card on me. I drove pass E&A with my donut tire and lucky the light was on. I pulled in and prayed they would help me. They technically closed at 6pm but they saw how I frantic I looked and offered to me help! Without them I would have had to get a motel tell and stay in Barstow over night. Night the ideal situation for a young woman traveling alone. 9 AM on a rainy Sunday morning and Andrew saved the day!! On the way to California, I unfortunately got a nail lodged into my front passenger tire at 2 AM. Before going to the shop, I called him to make sure that the store was open since it was a Sunday and most of the service shops were closed. He sounded very welcoming on the phone and I was expecting to be helped by an older man, but I was surprised to see him since he sounded so mature on the phone! Once we arrived at the shop to try to get my dilemma fixed up, my friend and I actually ended up learning about circle patches vs. square patches since he showed us why he used the square patch that he used for my tire. The hole in my tire was cutting it close to not being able to be patched since it was on the part that started to curve; however, he luckily had the tools to fix it so we could turn around and head back to Vegas. I can tell that Andrew really knows his stuff. I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon his wonderful service! He also filled up all of my tires with air because they were apparently under the recommended PSI! If I ever have trouble in Barstow again, I definitely know who to go to. read more

We brought our brand new car here for a tint. It had bubbles when they did the tint but said they would go away within 3 to 4 days once the glue dried. The bubbles got worse and worse. Since it's a lifetime warranty we went back a year later since its beginning to get hot and had them redo it. They said it was such a bad job because they didn't have a cover for their bay. Which to me is vital for a tinting shop in the desert. It took 7 hours for them to take off the old tint and then re tint the whole car. Mind you they insist that you dont sit in their tiny waiting lobby while they do the job simply because their not working on your car the whole time then I notice that they cut into our side door trying to tint and then the other window the tint isn't even sized to cover the whole window. Needless to say if your looking for someone to do the job right the first time DO NOT GO HERE! A1 AUDIO & TINT in VICTORVILLE is much more precise, FASTER AND CHEAPER! read more
