I contacted this business owner first thing Monday morning and he told me to bring it in so he could get it repaired for me. He was great and immediately checked my car, took it for a test drive and came back and checked it some more. He came back to me and said my brakes were fine and to go have a good vacation. He charged me nothing and assured me my brakes were fine and probably just got "tired" in the bumper to bumper traffic on Saturday. It is so refreshing to find such good and honest person when out of town and having an issue.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Rude Sales Management and No Follow-Up…read more We visited this Honda dealership as we begin shopping for a new Honda Pilot. Our goal was simple -- to understand current pricing and trade-in value so we could compare across multiple dealerships before purchasing by the end of the year. Our salesperson was polite, but the sales manager, Joe Jemley, was shockingly rude and dismissive simply because we mentioned that we planned to compare pricing from multiple dealerships. He actually questioned whether they "wanted to give us pricing" on a car and refused to provide a trade-in value for our vehicle. His attitude throughout the interaction was abrupt, condescending, and completely unprofessional. After the visit, I reached out to our sales rep and asked for someone above Joe to contact me to discuss the situation. I was told the GSM, Trustin Hampton, would call me the next business day -- that call never happened. I then called the dealership myself and asked to speak with Joe Jemley's manager, Chris Denny, and was transferred to his voicemail. That call was never returned either. This experience reflects a complete failure of leadership at multiple levels. Joe Jemley's conduct showed a total lack of professionalism, and the fact that no one from senior leadership followed up only reinforces the poor culture and accountability at this dealership. We will not be returning, and we strongly recommend visiting AutoNation Honda or Rusty Wallace Honda instead -- their professionalism and customer service were exceptional and a night-and-day difference from what we experienced at Airport Honda.

Untrustworthy all the way around. They'll charge you double what most dealers will charge you for a customer service/doc fee and then they'll charge you another $600 for an MBK package for a coating THEY chose to put on all of their cars which is non-negotiable (last time I checked, the buyer should have that option). They'll also avoid your request to break down the "taxes and fees section" to make it cumbersome to know what you're paying for what. In the end, I was ready to pay more money for a car with merely a different color scheme than a deal I already had on the table (and was ready to make a lengthy drive to get it) all for them to ultimately screw up the deal over $500. $500! They obviously care more about ego than selling cars. And oh, by the way this was all over a 2026 leftover! Honestly, I dodged a bullet, as I imagine I would've been met with more dishonesty once getting onsite. Do yourself a favor - don't deal with the immature and inexperienced salespeople here (they're a dime a dozen anyway) and find yourself someone with more experience from another dealer.

A day later, my car started making a strange noise, and I immediately began to worry. My first instinct was to find a Firestone because it was familiar, but something told me to look for a local mechanic instead. That's how I found Rick's. Even though they were absolutely slammed that morning, the staff welcomed me as a walk-in. The lady at the front desk quickly found someone--who I believe was Rick himself--to take my car for a test drive. When he returned, he asked me to give him a few minutes to find an open lift. About twenty minutes later, they had diagnosed the problem, made a minor adjustment to the subframe, and had me safely back on the road. While I was waiting, I couldn't help but notice how the service advisors treated their customers, especially several elderly folks who came in. They were patient, respectful, and took the time to explain everything clearly. That kind of customer service has become all too rare, and it created an atmosphere that immediately put people at ease. What impressed me most wasn't just that they fixed my car. It was that, despite being incredibly busy, they were willing to stop what they were doing to help a stranded traveler they had never met. That says a lot about the character of this business. I'm truly grateful for Rick's. If they were in my hometown, they'd have my business for life.
