I had not been to a dentist in several years (oops!) and Dr.Bliss and the rest of the staff have been so sweet and accommodating. When I went in I needed eight feelings without any crowns Dr. Bliss took amazing care of me with her helpful assistant Virginia they both worked together really well as a team in providing me with comfort and service I have been coming here consistently henceforth for cleanings and ortho work. Dr. Park and her assistant Jasmine are amazing both work hand in hand and keep you entertained in the process. Been coming here as a patient for regular teeth cleaning/filling/crown for awhile. This year I met new people. The two ladies at the front desk are very warm and knowledgeable. Whenever I ask about my insurance policy, they let me know the answer right away. I never really have to wait too long to be seen at this office. So this afternoon, I came here for replacement of the old crowns. Dr Abed is easy to talk to, a bit funny, very smart and professional. I also met Jasmine and Robert who are easy to talk to and explain the procedures to me. They are also very polite. Dr. Bliss was my dentist after not having a dentist for a over two years she made me feel comfortable and relaxed, though the news wasn't so good I knew I was in good hands. This places is great the view is amazing and you get a free Sonicare toothbrush. Everything from the receptionists Victoria and Dora who greeted me with a warm welcome a a friendly smile to Jasmine who had to deal with my X-rays, me being a shaky patient, but still got the photos in one take. If I could give Rockaway Beach Dental 6 stars, I would. I recently had a crown procedure performed at their office and to say the least, I was dreading it. I'm pretty terrified of these types of procedures, mainly due to sinus issues that complicate these types of things (on top of the pain). The doctor was incredible through the process. He listened to my needs and specifically tailored his approach to make me as comfortable as possible. I honestly felt that he sincerely cared about me and it was not what you'd typically expect from the dentist. On top of this, he also just has a personality of someone you want to be around. The procedure was also performed quickly and accurately. On top of the actual procedure, the other parts of my experience were very positive. The dental assistant was kind and effective. The front desk staff was very friendly and on top of their game. The office was clean and tidy. A+ all around. I don't take a lot of time to write reviews, but I'm seriously blown away by how well I was treated here. Highly recommend. read more

The facility is spotlessly clean with a very inviting atmosphere, the walls are uniquely decorated with paintings in various places for entertainment of the guests and patients. Books are left out to read for patients using their patience, awaiting their appointments. I thoroughly enjoyed the Wonders of the World hardback that was laid out on one of the front tables for guests to read, fantastic pictures and great facts to learn quickly and easily. I had my wisdom teeth operation done on the 4th of November and I've recovered swiftly and healthily from the operation because of the excellent job that Dr Bliss Zin did. By the way if you have a doctor named Bliss operating on you it makes the operation so much more peaceful. I recovered fully within 6 days due to an intricate schedule that the ladies at the front desk provided me with. Amazing customer support, great conversationalists, inviting social atmosphere, open to new music tastes, smooth operations, and a 100% success rate so far with the appointments that I've had. I hate dentist offices because I typically have bad things happen that cause me to have to go to the dentist in the first place (root canal, abscess, etc) but I have to say going to Rockaway has been the easiest experience I've ever had. Today I brought my daughter in because her baby tooth didn't come out properly and within literally 5 min she had it taken out and is on the way to being pain-free again! One word for this group: Amazing! I'm not a huge fan of the dentist, who is really, but this group of folks are absolutely wonderful. From the front office staff, Jessica, Elena and Natalie, to the assistants and RDA's Lois and Brittany, everyone is friendly and just plain awesome. They are flexible with your scheudling when unexpected things arise and you need to change your appointment. They are also very helpful when you need a little extra explanation of a cost or procedure. No question is a stupid question. They provide service with a smile. Dr. Shertok is without a doubt my favorite new dentist. He helped correct a filling replacement that went wrong and I needed to have a root canal. Let's face it who wants a root canal?!?!? He performed the procedure with professionalism and checked in on me the entire time throughout the long 2hr procedure. He explains everything in great detail and gives you lots of options without pressure. I never felt pressured to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. He's awesome and he also takes the time for small talk to check in with patients. To me that is huge! You also get to listen to music while you are there and the new high tech x-ray machine/computer is fantastic! They all have a great sense of humor and make everyone feel at ease. I was happy with Dr. Prevost but now I am happier with Dr. Shertok and the Rockaway Beach Dental Team! :) Keep it up! read more

Easy to make an appointment and they worked with my schedule (wife and I had to swap appointments and there was no drama); 3. Conveniently located with easy parking; 4. The hygienists (Desiree ) was professional, serious but gentle, one of the BEST cleaning I have ever had! 5. The dental exam was equally excellent, Dr. Zoulas took the time to help me understand the issues and clearly explained different treatment options. Also, the office is always clean, has a lot of room, and a lot of natural light, which I really appreciate. A little over a year ago, I started Invisalign with Rockaway Beach Dental. Dr. Bliss and her assistant Jasmin, have made my experience with Invisalign so simple. They are very helpful to answer any questions that I have. They make sure to stress the importance of wearing my retainers to make my experience with Invisalign go more smoothly. I found this place on a whim from googling a place I could get an emergency appointment for some tooth pain. I called and they were able to get me in the next day. When I arrived for my first appointment I was greeted by a super kind woman at the front des; Victoria, I filled out my new patient forms and was taken right away. I met Dr. Bliss and explained the pain and after some x-rays her assistant Jasmine who was so polite, Dr. Bliss explained the situation as tooth decay on 1 of my wisdom teeth. So the next step to take was scheduling my removal for the following week. Now side-note: my teeth are not in the best condition because I have avoided dentists for the past few years because of horrible experiences of being chastised for "poor hygiene", excruciating pain from not being fully numb, and made to feel crazy when I've said I wasn't numb enough. So I was pleasantly surprised at how kind, understanding, helpful, and most importantly non judgmental Dr. Bliss and her entire staff were. The following week it was time for my extraction....to say I was nervous was an understatement. As a person with anxiety I definitely couldn't get a grip, Virginia took me back and asked how I was feeling and I think she even could see how nervous I was. She explained the procedure to me and asked if I had any questions, which I did and she answered each and every 1 without making me feel dumb for asking. When I asked about nitrous and what it does she explained how it works and how it would probably help me and let me tell you for the extra cost it was well worth it. That made my entire extraction a breeze. So here I am a week later writing this review after my 3rd appointment which was a follow up and complete exam which I learned my extraction sites are healing well despite my concerns of infection. I also learned I still have a ways to go with my oral health but I am happy to report I'm no longer afraid to come to my dentist because I feel very comfortable and informed . Dr. Bliss explains things very thoroughly but also in a way you can understand and feel confident and comfortable. Another thing that stood out to me was how Virginia spoke about how she loved working there and all the people she works with (and I can understand why) Rockaway Beach Dental is not only a great place to work I'm sure but by far the BEST dental office I've attended in my almost 25 years of life. And I mean how convenient that it is located by the beach and just over the hill from my house. SCORE!!! read more

I went in to see Dr. Bliss Zin for consultation on Invisalign. She was very helpful in explaining all the different aspects of Invisalign as she herself went through it. She was very frank about the limitations of Invisalign vs traditional braces and didn't pressure me into getting the treatment. Jasmin helped Dr. Bliss in taking some pictures to help me visualize what can be done with Invisalign. The girls (Victoria and Dora) at the front desk were super nice in providing me with different payment options and looked up the coverage from my insurance for me. Thanks to Dr. Bliss and her team our whole family (myself, my husband and our son) have fantastic smiles. I was told that I needed over $1,200 worth of work, including Two new fillings, replacing an old filling and getting new sealants. I decided to get a second opinion from a dentist in Brisbane. They said that there was nothing wrong with my teeth!!! No cavities! They even said that they would never recommended someone over the age of 14 to get any sealants. I'm 30 years old. If you are looking for dental office, look no further. I cannot say enough about the care, consideration, professional and yet friendly folks on staff at Rock-a-way Beach Dental. I refer to the young lady, named Victoria, as Queen Victoria as she is efficient, organized and extremely flexible when working with me on scheduling, always looking for the most cost effective way to handle dental insurance billings and also on top of offering an additional discount/dental program through the office. I am fighting stage 4 colon cancer, thus I deal with many folks in the health care industry; I speak from experience when I say that there is an extra dose of care and gentleness flowing throughout the office. My dentist, Dr. Felesina, is an extraordinary young woman with a gentle touch as well as being quite knowledgeable giving one complete confidence in her abilities. Add to her Jasmine, the dental assistant and you have "Chemistry in a Bottle", they work together so well it seems effortless. The result is a Happy Mouth full of Happy Teeth that were in a precarious state due to Cancer, Chemotherapy & a bit of Radiation......I am so grateful to them for helping me to keep my "choppers" and Victoria is super at getting me appointments last minute before any additional cancer treatments.
