I love everything about this store and the care that the owners put into acquiring great items. No matter how long I spend shopping, I come away with something I love for less than I would expect to pay. On my last visit, I went into the dressing room for 3 full rounds of trying on items, and went home with 2 big bags of clothes in great condition, a mix of new and barely used, for easily half of what I would've paid retail elsewhere... if I could even find this stuff somewhere else! I'm excited for all the changes coming to that shopping center and hope the renovations strengthen the appeal and community vibe going on in the store. read more

I had perhaps my best shopping experience here. The owners were warm and accommodating and made me feel welcomed. It is not easy for someone who associates with the T in LGBT to find a safe place to shop. Rocket A Go Go allows for a secure place to shop. As for the clothing the styles are fun and alternative. I bought three dresses two of which one of the owners suggested I try on. I also bought a cute little purse for when I go out clubbing or to parties. The prices I feel are reasonable and the quality of clothing is good. There are also shoes, jewelry, and other accessories as well. Overall I hope more people like me get a chance to hear more about Rocket A Go Go. It is nice to see that there are stores which will treat everybody as human beings. Rocket Resale thinks teachers rock! Yay, for me. Stormy actually taught preschool once. So, it's a good thing I listened to all the Yelpers below and headed over there to sell off the Shoedazzle boots that rejected my feet. I'm not good at trading chats but these two friendly fashionistas made it a breeze. And even told me that I would make out better if I traded the shoes instead of selling them. So, I got two pairs of new-to-me shoes. And one of them is an oldie but a goodie that's gonna get a lot of attention. I didn't get a chance to roam the racks but from a quick glance the space is organized, inviting and screams "shop till you drop." They have a little bit of everything that a shopper just might desire. I know for sure that I have to go back. In fact, I'll be there this afternoon to make the most of their Christmas in July Super Sale. I need a new outfit that's gonna make my students say, "This teacher is kinda cool." read more

WHY HAVE I NEVER KNOWN ABOUT THIS PLACE?!?!?! Rocket a Go-Go is amazing, if you're a guy looking for unique clothing that not everyone has this is the place to go (they have a significantly larger and incredible women's selection, but as a guy I can attest to how difficult it can be finding unique and creative clothing). They have a combination of lightly used items, brand new items and pieces from local artists. Saying that you may think it comes with a $$$ price tag, but I purchased 2 INCREDIBLE shirts for $26.38 after tax, completely reasonable. Also, they are always getting new clothes - as I was looking around they were actively adding new items to the racks. The owner Roxanna was super friendly and clearly passionate about what she does and proud of her store. Kandy, another worker, was also incredibly friendly. I started walking up to her with a few clothes I wanted to try on, without skipping a beats she looks at me with a big smile and enthusiastically asks "do you want to try those on?!" and promptly got me a dressing room. I was actually so overwhelmed with excitement and appreciation I felt it hard to talk lololol. I can't wait to go back soand find some awesome stuff! read more

Love! My daughter wants to do vintage style senior photos. Found this place on Yelp, made the drive from Northwest Valley and was not disappointed! Huge variety to choose from, ended up purchasing three dresses, shoes, and all the accessories. Customer service is top notch! The prices are affordable and the clothing is very good quality! I love, no, LOVE Rocket! Every single experience I have ever had there has been wonderful. The associates provide the utmost in customer service and are always happy to help you find what you need. They honestly care, and it shows. They are on first name bases with countless customers and can provide background information including the story behind much of the local artist's work that they sell. Not many retail stores keep it local the way that Rocket Resale does, and NOBODY gives you these kinds of low prices, honest feedback, helpful hands, art history, and a good laugh like they do! I've been shopping there since just after they opened and am so happy to see how much the store continues to go above and beyond in offering all sorts of different clothing, jewelry, shoes, and more!! Not great to do business with. Dishonest. A portion of the merchandise that I commissioned them to sale was missing and they lied about it. They have it in stock somewhere. This isn't one of those things that I'm sour about and exaggerating, just a heads up for anyone else who might be interested in doing business, they are a bit on the shady side. read more

I have a new favorite store! This place is AMAZING, the selection, the sizes for every body type, & a staff that is aces!!!! My best friend is renewing her vows & decided it needed to be retro pinup girl style. I originally found Green Gurl close to my work & suggested we start there. No luck & no love. They don't return calls or emails, they are never open, & now they shut down until god knows when. I went to Yelp to do a broad search on "Rock a Billy" clothing & RAGG came up with excellent reviews. We went there today & I will never go any where else for this style again!!! Stormy was the best shopper's assistant I have ever had. She understood what we were looking for & is well versed in body types of all shapes & sizes. We are on the plus size & she didn't shame us, but instead, made us feel like beautiful women. Her suggestions were great & even helped with shoes & accessories. Really wish I could take her shopping with me every time I have to buy clothes (since I'm bigger, it's hard to find what looks good, I get frustrated & just leave). The store is family owned & operated, their prices are better than reasonable. I was expecting to spend about $200 on 1 dress, shoes, & accessories. Instead, I walked out with 2 dresses, 2 pairs of shoes, & accessories for less than $200. She also recommended where to go for under garments for reasonable prices.
