Cute place, lots of choices, nice concept. Self serve, many drink choices with so many topping options. Absolutely loved the many popping boba choices. The girl up front greeted us when we first came in, asked if we had been there before. She explained we could sample what we pleased, sample cups were stacked next to the topping bar. I really appreciate that they let you do this! I'd rate a 4.5 if possible, it was a little warm in there (it was a cooler day) but things do happen. My only thing was because it was self serve, I noticed that several things I wanted to try had sticky utensils or covers. They had a sign to help keep it clean but it may be hard for upkeep. Flavors were on point, popping yogurt boba & espresso jelly I'd recommend. I had the black sesame milk tea & was happy with the choice. I'd go back!

Our new favorite boba place. It is pricey, with $7+ per drink. They hv new pricing for with & without boba. Mango & coffee jelly in ube coconut drink is my favorite. Coconut pandan is hubby's new favorite drink. Son liked his dragon fruit with regular & popping bobas.

*** updated review*** New location , same owner. Now located on Abrams street in the same street as j.gilligans and that ramen shop and that burger places. This new place is so small and narrow that you gotta be careful not to bump into other people. I went during their soft opening and got a small boba. Same delicious flavors as before with the same friendly service. At this moment they don't have any food available for purchase but my hope is that it happens soon. They do have lots of snacks available and they also have cute keychains available for purchase. If you never been its basically "try it before you buy it". You can try the teas to see which one is your favorite or combine multiple flavors for an out of this world flavor. On the other side of the teas they have so many toppings you can choose from. Popping pearls, glass jelly, tapioca pearls, cookie crumbs etc. Make sure you stop by when you are in the area to try them out.

Such a cute little spot where my family and I felt welcomed. I love all the different options available as I'm sure there's a drink for everyone. I love the owner's inspiring attitude and drive at such a young age. What an amazing young lady. We will return!

MUST try the chicken and mars fries!!!!! Olivia is on top of it. So full of energy and willing to answer questions. She and her mom were also even willing to help me with a food item I was picky about because of a diet restriction. Very helpful and kind. I can't wait for location #2! The establishment can be overwhelming when you first walk in. You may get distracted by the many colorful items. Customers need to pay attention to instructions, additional fees, and prices listed throughout. If customers overlook this, they may leave disappointed. I had the pleasure of meeting 13 y/o Olivia and her family. Olivia was professional and informed me how everything worked before I started sampling items and preparing my final beverage. I loved each topping, tea, and milk tea. My final beverage included a variety of toppings with a mix of mango and Bulgarian rose lychee green tea. During an event, I enjoyed tasting the meteor bite chicken nuggets w/ rocket sauce, moon dust popcorn chicken, curry rice w/ carrots, and cosmic pork belly bites with pineapple. The food was hot, fresh, and high quality! I will return when I'm in the area. I wanted to order 2 Vietnamese coffees. I was informed it's best to reach out beforehand so the coffee can be prepared perfectly. Note: I highly recommend the moon dust popcorn chicken and each tea and milk tea. I couldn't stop sampling the wintermelon, Thai, honeydew, and strawberry milk teas.

My friend and her niece raved about this spot and how it was owned by a young girl who was able to open her business with her savings. I was intrigued, especially by the theme and concept of the place. As my friend, her niece, and I walked in we were greeted by the young girl Olivia, who is the owner. She was at the cash register taking our orders and she was friendly. After I informed her it was my first time there she informed me about the process and once I finished getting my drink then I would go pay at the cash register. There are two doors before you get inside the place which helps since the day I was there it was too windy and cold. The interior was very busy with their theme decorations (space theme), and holiday decorations, and the seating had two large tables with two cushioned benches on each table. There are also tables and chairs for kiddos which is amazing since a lot of places aren't really kids friendly. This spot is kid-friendly and welcoming. They have mini sample cups for you to sample their drinks and toppings (please be mindful though, don't take advantage). I sampled 3 of their drinks and decided to go with a large cup of Honeydew Milk Tea with boba and pudding/custard. The honeydew milk tea was delicious and it wasn't too sweet, for me it was perfect so I didn't have to add tea to make it less sweet. They gave an option of making your drink less sweet with their unsweetened teas. Olivia thought of everything. You go girl. Their boba was soft, warm, fresh, and chewy which is how it's supposed to be not like other boba spots where their boba is rock solid. 5/5 Honeydew Milk Tea with boba and custard/pudding My friend and her niece loved their drinks. My friend mixed two of their drinks and it tasted pretty good. They have board games and they also sell small food bites. If you have not stopped by to experience this spot I highly recommend you give it a try. Happy Yelping and SYOY

Had to have my boba fix and we stumbled upon this place literally just driving around for a late night. This place is open late and so we thought why not. It's kind of hole in the wall vibes. The concept of getting boba is pretty interesting and I don't hate it. Kind of brilliant. So, the set-up is like sample and make your own boba drink. There's a variety of options, and at the end choose your toppings. Kind of like the self serve yogurt. So service is self-serve and you pay up Front. Looks like this place can handle small and large groups but it's a take home type of thing and not really a stay there and enjoy although there are chairs and tables for it if you decide to. Try this place out! Till then, let's sip!

Rocketbelly came at the recommendation of our friends after eating pho at a nearby restaurant. We were told that the owner used to be a child actress, who opened a bubble tea shop after her acting days. When we arrived, we were greeted by a strong smell of sugar, and we were a bit overwhelmed by all the decorations. But after speaking to Olivia, the owner, we were that we could have as many samples as we wanted of all the milk and fruit teas, as well as the toppings available. And so we checked out the toppings and tea bars, trying out the ones we were interested in. We were impressed by the strong tea flavors in each sample, and we appreciated the ability to add a tea base to dilute our custom drinks if we found the teas to be too sweet. Personally, I went for the Ube Milk Tea whereas P2 opted for the Jasmine Tea. Again, both were delicious as we were able to craft our own boba cocktails to our liking. It was easy to pay at the counter as we were rung up based on cup size. There was a seating area inside perfect for hanging out, though we chose to take away. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to stop by again to try some of their other tea combinations!

Came here once before for a yelp event and had to check it out again. Again it didn't disappoint. Being able to try numerous things and build your own boba is a niche for sure and enjoyable. So many flavors you could make with the various flavors offered. Still hard to believe a 13 Year old is the owner/ mastermind behind it. They will be moving locations soon too

I came in here on it's opening debut in Downtown Arlington and overall it was a great experience. They really put a lot of work and passion to this new location and I really like the space aesthetic that they wanted to put out. When you enter, on one side you can see a wall full of memorabilia, merchandise, and a big TV that lays out their menu or events. I think so of them are for sale. And on the opposite side you get signed autographs of astronauts that came into Rocket Belly previously, which is really cool to see! When you order, you have the option of choosing between a regular size or large sized drink and at the end of the shop they have a large variety of drinks lined up on their own machines and opposite of that is a variety of boba and other toppings to choose from The service here was great and friendly, and the owner who was out on the register at the time was very generous to everyone. I had gotten myself the Aliens blood with popping boba and it was really good although a bit too sugary for me. So if you're ever in town and looking for a good boba shop, this is good recommendation to look at.

I saw a video on TikTok about Rocketbelly and decided I needed to check it out on my next visit to DFW. This past weekend, I flew from Honolulu to DFW for the weekend, mostly to get some things from IKEA. Rocketbelly was close enough to IKEA that I could convince my brother to make a stop. He didn't need much encouragement, he likes bubble drinks too. The shop itself is on the backside of a random building, so you can't see it from the street. The parking lot was relatively empty. We walked in an there was one other customer. He was talking to a girl standing behind the register and I kind of assumed it was a family operation and the girl was working for her parents. After reading some reviews, I know now that she is basically th owner. Amazing. She was so nice and gave us a "tour" of the store. SO well-spoken! The drinks are very sweet, so I appreciated the little "dilution station" that had jugs of unsweetened green and black tea. The only problem is that I don't like my drinks sweet, so they were very diluted. Maybe they could change their recipes to be more in the middle in terms of sweetness and then have a sweetener station where you could add simple syrup. But the whole "build your own" concept here is great! The topping bar was extensive. I liked the boba and the mango jellies. There were lots of popping boba choices and even some things I had never seen before. Next time, I'll try some food. I would definitely come back to give this place my business.

Arlington Foodies Kronsie fam absolutely loves Rocketbelly. Olivia has created a super cool OUT OF THIS WORLD place. We had a couple kids meals. Couple 3 piece meals and some eggrolls. And of course some of the best self serve boba in arlington. The chicken is fried perfectly, the eggrolls are phenomenal and the sauce, ohhhhh the sauce. The japanese curry sauce (coined Mars Sauce) is so good you couod drink it. And the honey butter fries will send your tummy to space for sure! Yall try this place when you can. read more

Cute little boba tea place near Kowloon that also serves a little food. It has a casual, playful vibe complete with board games and a full-sized Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova arcade game. Probably the most unique thing about this place is that it has self-serve bubble tea with a rotating selection of flavors. You can sample the flavors then create your own bubble tea complete with a variety of boba and other toppings. The teas are sweet but they have a couple of unsweetened teas you can add to dilute some of the sweetness. The tea flavors are interesting but if you have a go-to standard flavor they may not have it. I went with the jasmine milk tea with their standard boba plus matcha boba. It was good overall but the matcha boba texture was a little stale. I didn't try the food. read more

The boba flavors are way too sweet, there is no way to control the sugar in the drinks. Ice machine was broken and out of ice. No adults around to manage the business. Place was not very clean and there are what seems to be diy improvements being made at the business and the work quality is not very good. Chairs are extremely uncomfortable. Not an inviting place to sit and have a boba. The child running the cash register is very sweet, but I suspect there are some child Labor laws being broken with this setup. read more

Besides the amazing concept, this place is a safe and friendly environment for people of all ages to hang and enjoy personally customized boba plus yummy desserts! Family owned and operated. First things first, the presentation and aesthetic of the store is well done to have a space themed boba shop. They have a unique self-serve boba stations with assortment of flavors and choices of toppings you can sample. That's where the good ends. The boba teas themselves are nothing special, it just seemed like something that tasted out of a bulk mixing package. I ordered chicken strips and fries, it unfortunately damaged my visit there. Lol dramatic. The pricing on these felt over-priced compared to the portions, furthermore the fries were so over salted I couldn't even make it past a few fries without masking it with sauce. The batter on the chicken was nice and crispy kind similar to a katsu texture, but it wasn't anything special either. If you wanna try out a unique boba place, go ahead. Such a great idea! Free samples of all of the teas. Olivia, the young owner, is so sweet! We got the ube mixed with the pink coconut and thai tea mixed with pink coconut. We had just stuffed ourselves on pho next door so we didn't try any of the boba or jellies but they had a huge selection. They have the largest selection of any boba shop I've seen. Used to go to Olivia's previous store 'Fresh Bubbles Tea and Cookies' before their landlord switched and they were forced to vacate. My fiancee and I were thoroughly impressed when we first read the sign out front stating that Olivia was the one that owned the shop and her previous experiences. Both Olivia and her mother Mary are great folks. Their teais on the sweeter side but that is my personal preference anyways. My fiancee always loves the pandan and ube desserts that they always have in supply. I may have gone a few too many times though because they've started to recognize me when I walk in. This place was so much fun! First of all Olivia is adorable and greets everyone at the door! We were able to try all the teas and all the bobas. No limits. Went in today and got my usual so I don't need to sample it - because I know what it taste like. I get to my car, take a sip and it is extremely bitter. To the point where it's not drinkable. Again, it's the same flavor I always get there's no need to taste it. I go back inside and very politely tell her that there must be something wrong with the tea because it's not good today and if I can switch it out for another flavor. She tells me "that's why you need to taste it first" I let her know there's no need because it's what I usually get and it's always been good. Except for today. If a child is going to run the shop then the child needs basic customer service training. There's too many boba shops in the area to give bad customer service. read more

AMAZING! Nothing short of amazing being able to see little Ollie work as hard as she does at the front and entertain guests like no other kid in the world. Food is spectacular, comes out HOT and fresh. Place has so many cool features to it like their shelf of games provided (not to forget to mention the classic dance dance revolution machine that I've yet to try out!!) SO many varieties of boba stickers that I get two (or more lol) EVERY SINGLE time. Saying this place is out of the world is not exaggerated as my belly and HEART always comes out so, so full when I take my leave. I can tell this family owned business works so incredibly hard at what they do and do not stop at creating amazing things to the menu and off the menu. They are constantly and creatively thinking, throw out new little to big additions every so often. Please try everything on the menu. EVERYTHING! Otherwise, someone (like me) will literally order everything out! Lol! From all their dishes and sides to sweets, everything is unbeatable y'all. Drinks are dairy-free, homemade, and YUMMMY! Drinks options are okay, but the teas are pretty good. Also a large variety of toppings that you can use as you please! I think the price is great for what you're getting ($5.60 for a 16 oz cup) it's really nice you can sample all the flavors before committing to one as well They also have a rewards program so you can have even more deals! Though, I was put off by the three children in the shop by themselves (2 playing video games on a setup in the corner- even more off putting because they're right in view when picking toppings, and the one little girl running the register) while there were no adults in view. Not the weirdest thing especially with small business, but enough to note Bye y'all r so weird for being that fucking rude over a review that wasn't even harsh. There's nothing wrong with kids playing nor was I ever rude about OLIVIA oh and I'm also sooooo sorry that I don't pay attention to random people around me to know you guys were the parents. It's so weird that you were butthurt enough to go through and try to find me on the camera. I still stand by what I said. Even more so now. Very proud of your daughter for starting her own business but i still don't want to see kids sitting on the floor in a messy ass corner while I'm trying to do something. Seen this place on tiktok so decided to try it with my friend. What I didn't know was that it's owned by an 12 year old??? Amazing! She was quick to greet you when you entered, and happy to explain how the self serve worked! And she cashes you out! It's a fun environment, with lots of games to play while you hang out, and the signature milk tea was my favorite! Cant wait to go again! 10/10! Had to tell all my friends! read more

What a fantastic find & literally the BEST boba tea we have ever had! This place is family friendly, has an excellent selection of teas and a ton of boba, popping boba, & jellies! They also have great cookies, food and other sweets, like homemade marshmallows. We were mostly impressed by the owner of Rocketbelly, Miss Olivia, who kindly greeted us & welcomed us the minute we walked in the door! She is an impressive & determined, 10 year old young lady, who is a true entrepreneur, a homeschool scholar and certainly loves what she does! She decides the boba tea flavors, the cookie flavors/designs and also what is offered in the entire business. She is supported by her whole family, who all work hard alongside her! It is Miss Olivia who will tell you that she wants you to sample each and every flavor of tea, as well as sampling any boba you might want in your drink. She wants you to be a fully satisfied with your own boba creation when you leave her shop! Don't forget your chicken with rocket sauce, honey butter fries, beef sticks & unique cookies! Miss Olivia is the star of the shop! She wants customers, both grown ups and kids, to feel welcome and to enjoy a special treat that she has creatively made just to bring smiles! Finally got a chance to stop by for a quick bite and boba tea after a friend told me about this hidden gem. I quickly got a greeting from Olivia at the counter, and she explained to me how the self served boba tea works. I got the original milk tea with coffee jelly and also got the Mars plate with the curry sauce on the side. Both the tea and the food were tasty. I specially LOVED the space theme of the store since I'm a space-nerd. I will definitely need to go try out other things on the menu and boba tea combinations. read more

Very good vibes, food, and drinks. The self serve is really sick and all the flavors are pretty good. It's also nice that they have little tester cups. Great food, and great people! Olivia, Mary, and the rest of their family are the best! They will make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. They have an excellent selection of bubble teas (and, you may sample before you buy), and boba balls as add-ins. The atmosphere is bright and engaging. The girl and her family that run this shop are very nice make sure the customers have a good experience. There are many great tea flavors to choose from as well as many types of popping boba, jellies, and normal tapioca pearls. Please come and give this place a try when you can. I loved their other location and was so sad when they closed it. However, I'm a little happy that they did because now their new location is so close to my home!!! I always feel welcomed by Olivia when I go and I often get the pandan milk tea when I go. They have food now which is new and I'm a huge sucker for fries, and their honey butter fries did not disappoint. Me and my boyfriend will most likely be coming more often to play their fun board games and cool DDR station. This place is wonderful! Their tea and food is delicious, and I'm glad they added machines to adjust the sweetness if needed. The idea of the boba being self-serve was a good idea and Olivia is the sweetest little girl you will ever meet! I took some friends there and they find it good too, though they do have suggestions for which I'll leave here for Olivia to consider :). One thing was the cup sizes, the bottles are cute, but maybe there could be sizes for the regular cups (small, medium, large). And another thing was one of my friends said it was kind of weird seeing one of the kids sleeping in the corner and I was thinking if it was possible for them to have their own room so the kids can have their own space. But other than that everything was good and my friends and I enjoyed our time here :). read more

This place is located in a small shopping center next to Kowloon but just so cute. I love the free tasting and create your own boba concept with unlimited free toppings. Who wouldn't love that? I have always come back to Rocketbelly for Boba ever since I discovered a news coverage video on Instagram. When I first tried it, I thought it was good, but I wasn't crazy about it because I am so used to Boba places having more "extra" looking drinks. You gotta remember, this is a build it your own boba place. The drink is whatever you make it. Honestly was skeptical on a "DIY" boba place but now I have come back so often. It's simple but so delicious. I especially love the Ube and Thai Tea flavors along with the Plain/Brown Sugar boba! Rocketbelly has become my go when it comes to where I stay for work. Olivia always greets me every single time I walk in, so I know the service is always going to me amazing. The ambiance of course is so cute. The space theme really lives up to it's name. Delicious Boba Tea! Self serve and tasting cups so you can experience all the flavors. Black tea (unsweetened) on the counter to add to teas if you like less sweet. The tapioca boba is made fresh daily. So good. The family running this place are very committed to their customers. It tasted like a sweet fresh peanut milk drink but not necessarily like peanut butter milk. You can get a regular or large sized drink. Dulce de leche concha was pretty and tasty. It seemed more milk bread-like since it was soft and fluffy. It reminded me of melon pan because the crust was soft and crumbly. There's a small amount of dulce de leche in the middle, which is okay since the top is very sweet and the dulce de leche is rich. Shio pan with cream cheese and everything bagel: similar to a Chinese baked bread (cut almost all the way) filled with whipped cream cheese. The bottom has a slight crust but not hard like a Korean salt bread, and it's topped with everything bagel seasoning (not too salty). Dubai choco strawberry cookie: moist and almost fudgy because of chocolate chunks, topped with fresh strawberry slices. There's a small center of pistachio cream but the usual crispy noodles were already broken and mixed in, so it's less satisfying to me. The chocolate cookie part was like a rich brownie. It stayed soft even refrigerated. The marranito (pig-shaped sweet cookie) was thick and broke like a soft cookie. It's like a gingerbread cookie with less spices. Even refrigerated, the cookie was pretty soft. I'm usually not too fond of this type of flavor, but I liked this version. Ham and cheese bun: fluffy baked Asian bread with thin slice of ham and cheese. Bacon egg and cheese milk bread resembles a thick Chinese bread bun with a bacon-wrapped thick tamagoyaki inside. The egg part looked like it was overcooked. Coffee bun is a soft and high plain bun covered with a thick layer of slightly bitter coffee powder. The bread items started getting drier after getting cut and refrigerated but softened once they were microwaved. There are clean trays and tongs for the baked goods. The line moves along the edges. The bakery had (2) baskets of large umbrellas since it was a long and slow line and blazing hot. The outside line takes up most of the small parking lot. There is some street parking along the 2-way road. I think the bakery was busier than normal due to it being the day after a BTS concert and social media. It took about 50 minutes to get inside, 20 minutes to get through the line, then 15 minutes to receive drinks. There are a few tables along the right side of the inside bakery and a few small tables outside. Even though it was very busy, the staff projected a friendly and competent image. There're clay heart-shaped plates to eat on and plastic forks for splitting pastries. The graphics on the murals, merch (shirts and aprons), big boxes, and cups were cute. The image on the plastic cups are easily scratched off.

As someone who serves in ministry and regularly recommends businesses to church members, friends, and professional contacts, I left thinking this could have become one of my go-to recommendations. Unfortunately, that interaction changed what could have been a great relationship with the restaurant. One thing I've learned in life is that you never know who's sitting at your table. A simple greeting can turn a customer into a loyal supporter. The food was excellent, and I sincerely wish this business continued success.
