Kevin told me to bring it in and he will order me a new but had to open it to make sure he get the right one. Upon opening it, he said it just needed cleaning. So, he cleaned it and now it works like new! He guaranteed the work for 180 days. I took a desktop there years ago and he fixed it for a fair price. Yes, looking for a PC or Laptop or probaly anything electronic, Kevin is the guy to fix it. Thanks Kevin!

I had another desktop that was my husband's and it died and had what was on there put on my laptop. I asked Kevin if he could find an old desktop and he said he makes them. I bought it for $300.00 and when I got home, it would not work. He said he forgot to give me the cord and said the would come out to my house and deliver the cord and make sure it desk top was working. He charged me $150.00 to deliver the cord. Several weeks later, the computer he made had a virus. I called him and he said to bring it in. He fixed it quickly and never told me why the desktop had a virus and just charged me $60.00 and sent me home. About a month later, the desktop he made had a second virus. I checked around with another tech company, and they said I got scammed. That computer sits in my closet because I am afraid to turn it on. Kevin was so angry on the phone and was yelling at me saying that it was my fault for the virus. I have had many computers over the years and never had a virus and when I told Kevin this, his comment was, "you were lucky". I am still trying to get my money back and he can have that infected desktop he sold me. Don't trust him. I think there are too many computer repair shops now open and he has a lot of competition. I used the Yelp service quote feature to get a quote to repair my broken headphones from various…read morebusinesses in the area. Fix My Gadget responded with a quote to repair my headphones for a flat $35. When I went to the location on 11/27 to drop off my headphones, the young guy took the headphones and charged me $35 for the repair and gave no indication of when they would be fixed just that they would call us. Later that evening I received a text message that they found the issue, parts will be ordered, and the headphones will be ready for pickup in a week . There was no communication of the cost of these parts, that they were in addition to the $35 I had already paid, or confirming if I wanted to continue with the repair knowing the new cost. They just ordered the parts and assumed I would pay for them. One week later, on 12/5 I hadn't heard from Fix My Gadget, so I texted. I got a response that the parts were arriving on 12/6 and by 12/7 the repair would be done. On 12/7 I hadn't heard back...again, so I texted. Fix My Gadget responded saying the parts will be delivered on 12/14. Another week later, on 12/14, I hadn't heard bak, so I texted....again. I got a response that the headphones were ready for pickup. When I arrived at the store, I tested the headphones and everything worked great. I'm guessing these were different headphones altogether, because they wouldn't pair with the devices they were previously paired with at originally. In addition, Fix My Gadget charged me an addition $62 for "parts" which they never communicated or confirmed I was willing to pay. Come to find out, the $35 I originally paid was a nonrefundable deposit as the person at the business explained to us their process, but it was the first time we heard it. Overall I paid almost $100 for my repairs that I was not expecting. The communication was most likely broken down due to the multiple ways we contacted the business where each representative probably assumed our first point of contact explained things, but we were unhappy with the information we got during the entire process. We were happy that Fix My Gadget was able to fix my headphones in the end. I think anyone who uses their services will need to ask more questions than we did and the experience will be better.

First they tried one screen after 4 hours of my phone being in their office it was glitchy and did not work. They tried another screen that one also didn't work then they tried a 3rd screen that they did not state was $350. They had my husband in there for 4 1/2 hours and even an hour past closing time. He was arguing with the owner of the shop over the phone for those entire 4 hours trying to get a refund for the $130.66 and they finally agreed to refund it since we did not want the screen and they took it off and put my broken one back on. They ended up giving him $87.00 back and scammed $43.66 out of the money we paid. No this did not include the $35 deposit that you have to pay to get your phone diagnosed which you do not get refunded which is understandable. They then came to the conclusion that the battery is bad in my phone and needed to be replace and the owner of the store wanted another $35 to diagnose if my battery is actually bad and then however much more on top of that to replace the battery he said no and left at 8pm last night. He went back in today and the owner was refusing to answer the workers phone calls because they have to get verification that they can give cash back. I did the math on the markup price of the original $150 screen replacement that they still wanted to sell to me even though it was glitching and malfunctioning. I found the website they order from and they are charging a 74.43% markup on replacing the screen. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT MONEY SCAMMED FROM YOU. I will be going back myself and getting my money back.

Dave, Mike and Luke made the transition…read moreeasy, provided training to the staff, answered all our questions and found great alternatives to make the flow of our office run more efficiently and smoothly. We previously used AT&T and they had horrible customer service and the internet was so slow and frequently lost connection. Making the business decision to switch not only saved us a lot of money but also elevated our level of customer service we can provide to our patients. With a quicker internet, a multitude of options and great knowledgeable staff, I only wish we would have made the switch sooner!

We used fortis as our IT company for the last few years and hired them to move our server to "there…read moredata center" after 4 months we had our launch date on a Monday. We were shut down for 2 days with computer problems and for the next 2 weeks had nothing but problems and downtime. We told them to move our stuff back to our inhouse server only to find out they actually tried to put us in AZURE Microsoft cloud base . That was never discussed and they decided to to that on their own without any change order and lied and said that's what the plan was when literally we had them in our office and thru emails stating that we are moving to there data center were they have space. Our software at that time was not going to work in that platform due to the amount of data. We decided after all the problems to cancel our service to only have fortis strong arm us and held us hostage. We disputed a $1900.00 charge for services they were charging us but not providing and finally after a back and forth with them we agreed to pay as long as we can get our credentials and then they said they were going to audit our account. The next week they sent us a bill for 8,000 dollars for magical tickets from 2 years ago ,gave us 24 hours to pay or they would disrupted out ability to work and that is exactly what they did .block our staff and took over our computers. We ended up paying them 10,000 as basically ransom. They are dishonest and they claim to be there to protect you from viruses and people taking over your computer but they are the ones you need to worry about. It has been 2 months cents our cancellation and guess what ,not one computer problem except from the computers we bought from them . So weird that having the "big IT company with multiple calls to fix computers to not having any problems at all says a lot. The light at the end of the tunnel we also cancelled our VoIP and found a new vender that was less price and more features and we are not paying 2400.00 a month to them for there contract. It was a blessing that they performed so poorly as we found better solutions. If i can save one person from this nightmare and them using a company that will charge you for services they are not providing then this review is worth it. If your looking for a honest IT Company they are not it. you can look online and see this is common practice for them.
