Avoid this company at all costs! If I could give zero stars, I would!!! This is the second time they've been dispatched to our home through our warranty provider. They came out on 10/6/25 to replace the supply line for our water heater, where we initially had a leak. Just a few days later, we noticed a large amount of water draining from behind the unit. On 10/9/25, Neil returned with a woman (unclear if she was his sister or wife), who was extremely rude. She didn't introduce herself, barely spoke, and just stared the entire time -- very unprofessional behavior. He stated they were both the owners of the company. We were also given conflicting estimates for the same repair. The first set of technicians quoted $1,800-$2,000, but Neil and the lady suddenly quoted $2,800-$3,400. When I pointed out the original estimate, the woman finally spoke and claimed the techs that were out on Monday didn't know what type of plan we had through our warranty -- even though they had already been working with our warranty company. Neil then proceeded to explain what the warranty would cover and tried to convince us to let him buy the water heater from us so he could install a tankless system instead. Neil later called to say he submitted his findings to the warranty company. I advised Neil we won't be working with his company because of how unprofessional they are. He yelled and hung up. Bottom line: This company is disorganized, unprofessional, and feels like a scam. Stay far away. read more

Background: I have a 2 story home and was having issues with a bit of flooding. Downstairs, I could use the half bathroom and kitchen utilities as usual, but either of the upstairs bathrooms being utilized (both toilet or bath) would cause the downstairs toilet to flood at the base. Initially, they weren't available due to holidays and low manpower, but they went out of their way to help me due to being 35 weeks pregnant and not being able to shower the last couple of days. I am beyond grateful for their consideration and speedy service! My experience with this company was a senior SCAM. My home warranty company called them out to clear my drains. I was told that the drains could not be cleared unless a central ground clean out was installed at a cost of $6,500. I had to take out a loan. I was lied to, belittled and bullied. And then they failed to clear the drains. The company has failed to provide me with their report that was sent to the insurance company and failed to provide me with a detailed invoice. Neil was initially sent to our home by our warranty company to fix a leak an upstairs bathroom. Not only did he fix the problem before it became a flood. He cleaned out our tub drain for free and gave us some information on our tanless water heater. He was professional, communicative, and kind. The second time he and his crew came out was when our kitchen was flooded by another upstairs bathroom! He came out immediately to see the damage and helped us to find a remediation company. When he came to complete the repair, he also noticed that a piece of our copper water pipes looked like they were about to leak. He repaired that as well without charge. We have now had him do a total of three jobs for us in 2 months. He is reliable and seems to genuinely want to help people with their plumbing issues. Update: The warranty company sent out a second plumbing service (TAS Plumbing) and the company was able to fix the corroded seal and recaulk around the toilet quickly. It was clear to him the issue was wear and tear and simple to address. We've had no issues since TAS fixed the issue. They also addressed the Mansfield situation you so thoroughly explained and were 100% on your factoids about however all I wanted was the toilet fixed not the history of why it sucks and why you will milk the warranty as much as possible before you would have replaced the poorly designed piece to something functional. Since TAS came out we have had no issues and because of their trustworthiness they will be the plumber I CALL when work is outside of the warranty and they will be a company I highly recommend to homeowners or renters in need of a plumber who is dependable about timeframes and honest about the work that needs to be done. Because the owner felt it was necessary to address me in messages personally about using "apps" to ruin people with reviews to be fair for the bad review and experience I had with you I am giving the company that fixed the issue just as lengthy of a review the difference is I can easily explain why they get 5 stars I can't explain why you even get one. And I'm not mad...I'm actually quite happy the warranty sent out a second company who gave an opinion in direct difference of yours. I'm quite happy a qualified plumber was able to fix the issue without drilling into our tile. We had our valve on our water heater shooting water all over our garage! I placed a request in online with my home warranty company (First American) and was assigned to Rocketman right away. I called them immediately, (as we were panicking!) Neil dropped everything to head straight to us, and got to us in under 45 minutes of me placing my warranty request! We were so happy they were able to get to us right away, get the valve replaced, and also alert us of some more shoddy work that was done by the previous installer that is NOT up to code! Our home warranty company, First American, sent Skylar (Rocketman Jr.) and Dylan from Rocketman Plumbing to replace our water heater that sprung a leak. The water heater was very old, connections were corroded, it was lonnnnng overdue for a replacement. Skylar even remarked, "This water heater is older than I am!" Skylar and Dylan were knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, replaced every thing that needed replaced and it looks and works beautifully! They cleaned everything up too. If you get assigned this company through your warranty, get a new vendor. I cannot speak to the work as we never go to that part. Instead I was given half assed explanations as to why my leak didn't qualify for their 24/7 emergency service. Warranty Co. stated my service order was assigned to Rocketman Saturday AM, called , "we're not open, call Monday" I explained the reason for the emergency request. He could have carried less. I call Monday am 8:15, woman answers and I must have woken her up explained why I'm calling and how I got their info, still she was not sure why I was calling.. she stated she will have to get back to me around 10 am and doesn't think they can make an appointment until Thursday. Once again shared the urgency of the situation. I asked why do you solicit 24/7 emergency service if you have "office hours"? She stated 24/7 service is for regular plumbing needs? WTH?! So if I need a toilet unclogged at 2am you'll come out, for a leak that requires all household water to be shutoff it can wait and is not the reason you advertise 24/7 emergency service?? Why was this not explained by the gentleman I spoke with first? Could have saved myself time and moved on days ago! Next call was to the warranty company to get a new vendor. I think Kevin D is right on the mark. I have a home warranty with First American. (Will review separately.) The fellow rolls in with his girlfriend in the passenger seat, and my wife whispers to me that he seems weird. The plumber promises me he'll be back with the right part, but I'm later informed by First American per the plumber's report that the broken faucet is not normal wear-and-tear and therefore not covered by the home warranty. (Obviously the plumber knew he was not coming back so he lied to me.) How would the plumber know that somebody purposely turned the faucet the wrong way so hard that it broke, and that it's not simply a mistake and equipment failure? I have never heard of anyone breaking a faucet by turning it the wrong way, and I am very strong and accident-prone! read more

I was told that I would hear from Rocketman Plumbing in 24 to 48 hours. Finally at 4:00 pm on December 30 I received a telephone call from them and was scheduled, but not until January 5 2021 between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. They failed to show up and didn't even give me a telephone call stating that they had "about 30 calls for service today" (as per the wife), I feel as though by having an appointment, that I had waited 14 days for, I was priority over a new service call. At 4:00 pm on January 5 I called the home warranty company and requested a different contractor after explaining the situation to them. At that time the service order through Rocketman was canceled. At 6:30 pm I received a telephone call from the original contractor, Rocketman Plumbing and she informed me that they could come out "now". I explained that when somebody has an appointment scheduled that should be priority...especially when the company put me off for 14 days already! The woman was extremely rude to me times that I spoke with her. Her 1st excuse was Christmas, which I totally understand but then she threw up the Covid excuse! read more
