Love this shop and it's location! Ashleigh did my piece 10/10 experience. So sweet and amazing artist. Can't say enough about my experience at rockin ink!

Justina was amazing! She did my first tattoo and I absolutely loved it. She walked me through the entire process and made sure I was okay the entire time. The music taste is perfect. Enjoyed the playlist while getting my tattoo. Justina was very funny and very chill. Highly recommend her if you're coming to get a tattoo. Amazing experience Perfect tattoo. I gave her a reference photo and she executed perfectly. She made sure I got exactly what I wanted and more.

The vibes and the quality of the work done in the shop is unmatched, really cool people , if you come in ask for Alex, he's really talented and dedicated, he lets you take breaks as needed and doesn't have a heavy hand, walked out as a happy costumer !!

This shop is awesome! Odi did my piece and one on my wife, and she was able to put together exactly what we wanted super quickly. Super friendly staff, very good vibes, conveniently placed, AND extremely reasonable prices. In case you're wondering, the shop is located just inside the Westgate's northern entrance, and there's a parking garage right next to the entrance.

Absolutely trash! Tattoo 10 out of 10 management 0 and disgusting! I had an appointment to get a tattoo for my birthday while I was staying at the westgate. I got there at 9am for my appointment, Marla my artist was amazing! We started around 9:30 am. I asked Marla if I could put my Ray Ban sunglasses down by her station and she said ok. It was a 6 hour tattoo so I was there for a while. It was myself, Marla, Leo the manager and a sweet 19 year old intern but I forgot her name. During that time I was there Marla and myself took a few bathroom breaks. By the end of my session I went to get my sunglasses but they weren't there. I was very surprised and so was Marla. We started looking for them and searched the entire shop even emptied garbage pails to see if they maybe fell in. They were gone, no where to be found. I was shocked, my first thought was that during a bathroom break maybe Leo the manager and the intern possibly went in the back and left the shop open. Was it possible that a customer came in seen nobody there walked into the shop, went into Marla's tattoo area and took my glasses? Maybe.. But highly unlikely. I asked if they went into the back while Marla and I were in the bathroom, Leo the manager got very defensive saying nobody here stole your sunglasses and told me to check everywhere for them. Marla and I searched everywhere but nothing. There was a time during the session that Leo left and even the intern and Marla said where did he go? Maybe putting the glasses in his car? He got very weird with me when I said I'm not leaving without my glasses. If they were $10 gas station sunglasses I wouldn't care. But these ray bans were $225. And mine! Leo told me to go up and check my room, I told him I was here the whole time and never went back to my room so that's impossible. He then said to me if you don't listen to me and check my room then he can't help me. In my life I have never seen such a guilty conscience. The whole energy in the room was dark. I actually felt bad for him and embarrassed for him because I knew he took them. What an asshole! Management stealing from customers? Wow what a piece of trash!! I called security and filled out a report, I asked Leo if the cameras were working to see if someone came in while they were in the back and took them. But of course the cameras weren't working. I was so frustrated that I just couldn't be there anymore. If I wasn't a guest at the westgate and security wasn't there things would have gotten physical. I knew deep down that jerkoff manager Leo had them. So I left not thinking I'd be getting a phone call the day after. After the beautiful Tattoo did on my forearm when I left I was so pissed that I didn't tip her and I'm sorry for that Marla. You were professional, honest and truly a great artist. A few hours later I text Marla and thanked her for the tattoo and told her I was going to write bad reviews all over the place from that experience that should have never happened. The next day while I was at the Grand Canyon I get a voice message from Leo the loser that my glasses popped up and they will be left white security. Like are you kidding me? To the owners of the shop, Marla is a dream, great person, great artist and a great soul. Leo is a trash bag and should be fired immediately. He's lucky I didn't break his jaw..

Get a great and professional tattoo by Kevin Thiele the artist in Vegas. He was Funny, keep you entertain and makes you feel comfortable getting your tat rather it's your first time or not. Best experience! Was visiting family.at the westgate and walked by Rockin ink. I had wanted this tattoo for a long time but couldn't find the right art work. Then I met Steven! He was super chill and cool. I love how it came out. Will definitely return. I have had bad experiences in the past with tattoo artists so I was worried at first but he did amazing, was very nice and I will be back. YOU DA BOMB STEVEN! YOU DA BOMB! Me and my husband both got bad ass tattoos! My husband was tattooed by Kevin, who took the time to go over, draw, and layout my husband's first tattoo. Craftsmanship and detail are above par. I came here for my first tattoo! my bf and I did a walk-in, there was no wait time and the staff are friendly with good banter. Kevin did my tattoo and Brody did my bfs, mine was super quick felt like 5-10 mins max. My bf got two tattoos so his was a little longer but still quick, both artists are talented and not heavy handed at all! I am not brave enough to get a tattoo. But if I was, I would come here. The staff are friendly and put people at ease. You can have a loved one's name placed on your wrist or get an elaborate creation on your back ( or anywhere else). I spoke to the staff at 3am when my jet lag wasn't letting me sleep. I don't think they close. read more

My boyfriend and I walked in to get a pricing on a tattoo that I wanted, and 3 people were sitting there drawing. Not one looked up, and greeted us,or asked if they could help us. I went over, and made my myself known, and I was told to talk to another artist. WTF?! Aren't y'all artist too? Then they " artist " that I talked to was very condescending, and what Ms. Thing didn't know was that I've been getting tattoos before she was born, so I know the process. They didn't even have the artists portfolios out, so you could see whose style you liked, and I've never been in a shop that didn't have their artists portfolios out, more than one artist in the shop, and where someone greeted you when you walked through the door, and were glad that you were considering them. I definitely won't be going here for anything that's for sure. read more

I have heard wonderful things about this tattoo shop. Two friends have tattoos from here. I was already in the Westgate so I decided to call and asked if I could come in for a quick piercing. Whoever I was on the phone with said yes. I told them what time I'd come in and they said they would be there.. I came about 45 mins after our phone call. When I arrived, it was closed. I was standing outside for a couple of minutes and suddenly a woman comes in with a bag of McDonald's and proceeds to open the shop back up again. She walked in and closed the shop back down. She saw me, walked passed me and didn't even acknowledge me. No "hello", no "can I help you with anything?" So disgusting and very rude. Not only are they liars, they are condescending as well. My friends tattoos aren't even that nice by the way. read more

I have this shop a poor review and the owner posted that he can't be responsible for my disease??! Just what disease he thinks I have I'm not sure of. I have 5 other tattoos and have NEVER had an issue. I also was not counseled about any possible "diseases" I might have that may cause a problem with my tattoo. Kevin and Steven are fucking awesome and down to earth. Vibe was laid back and felt like hanging out at a bar with a couple of good friends. Tattoo was super fast and exactly what we wanted and the best part ... they didn't over price the work like most other vegas tattoo shops. After calling around to a few 24 hour tattoo shops I found myself here at 1a ready to get tattoo #12. And am I SO glad that I found this gem. I had the pleasure of meeting Ray. I explained to him exactly what it was I wanted. Well more like what it looked like in my head. And after a few moments he successfully brought it to life. And I must say after having an idea in my head for over a year I was thrilled to finally see it on my skin! The process was almost painless. Best tattoo I have gotten yet. Drove down to Las Vegas just to see Ruben. He's very professional, knowledgeable, and his artistry speaks for itself. I came with an idea of what I want and he made it freaking amazing. Plus it's affordable for the quality of work I got. I will definitely come back for all my tattoos. Caitlyn was awesome. We came in with a group of four, at midnight, and was super happy that she was able to accommodate us. Three of us ended up getting piercings from her, and we all had really positive experiences. She was very precise, very clean, we watched her sterilize everything, and felt very comfortable with her. She was really sweet, answered all of our questions, and put up with our indecisiveness when it came to picking jewelry. The shop was really clean, really well organized, and we felt really comfortable there. They had a decent selection of jewelry, and it was evident by the art on the walls that everyone there was a super talented artist. It was also great that they were open until 1:30 am, one of the only shops we could find that had a piercer after 10pm. read more

This is seriously the BEST TATTOO shop I've ever visited! I have tattoos everywhere on me from different artists and personalities, but I've never been tattooed by someone so gentle and professional as Ray Soto from this beautiful AND CLEAN shop! I requested A LOT of work to be done on my leg, and gave him full reign to design however he seemed fit with my concept in mind and Ray pushed through like a boss and gave me an incredible version that FAR EXCEEDED my expectations!! This artist rocks and his patience and talent is second to none. He is also super sweet and VERY EASY on the eyes! My Friend was with me and I bought her a tattoo as well, and her artist, Kevin, gave her a gorgeous, realistic rendition of exactly what she wanted. She will leave her own 5 star review, I am sure! My husband got a large piece by Armond and his work is also OFF-THE-HOOK gorgeous! He, too, powered thru and gave my husband exactly what he wanted. He will be leaving his own review. We are so super stoked! One more thing...although I don't recommend or encourage bringing kids along for a tattoo session, we did bring kids along for the weekend to visit Vegas, and they happen to be with us during the sessions, and I wanted to thank the staff for being so patient and accommodating. I will definitely be driving back to Rockin' Ink Tattoo to sleeve my other leg and get my back piece as well by Ray. It was so worth the drive! OH! And the price for the work was surprisingly affordable, especially for a Casino! This is no cheesy casino tattoo joint...it is truly legit! I was very comfortable, impressed and pleased! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I am so proud to show this tattoo off and have had overwhelming compliments! read more

first off the staff is very welcoming and helpful. I came in with a concept and the artist referred me to Rey. came back told him my idea. and he drew it up. next day came in and it was exactly what I pictured! looks amazingly tatted to! he had such a light hand and was great about letting me know my options with colors on my skin tone. he just didn't "put it on my skin" also I saw the way he advised other walkins during my session and he was very knowledgeable about what would and wouldn't work. overall prob one of the best experiences I've had with walking in a random tattoo parlor! go to Rey if you love old school new designs!! great artist!! read more

My first tat ever! Ray did a horrible job. Lines bare messy and not even. Then when I complained to the higher ups they said it wasn't that bad. If the customer isn't satisfied then no one should be. Do not go here!!! Not recommended and the punk ass supervisor Cindy said it wasn't that bad. Fuck this place. read more

The only variable I didn't define if the font. I assumed the tattoo artist would know best what would work. For some reason, they wanted me to provide artwork. I get it, you do a lot of work and everybody wants something different, but I just wanted a name and date, since the size was specified, the only thing left to debate was the type style. For some reason, they couldn't or wouldn't quote me, I was told that there was a good chance it would be the shop minimum, but they couldn't confirm and with it being 110 degrees, I didn't want to be shuffling up and down the strip when any competent shop should have been able to quote me in advance. That did in fact happen here, and when the people at Illuminati were clear and told me they would present me with font choice that didn't elevate their quote, I ended up using them. I have no idea how much money flows through Vegas, but when people come here, they come to spend. Pardon me if I like to know in advance what I'm spending. So unless Yelp has changed their policy that a review is a unique experience, I trust that this detailed account of Revolt satisfies the terms and conditions I agreed to. Moderation is great, but without integrity, the review system breaks down.

Disarm customers. People have stigmas about tattoo. For some it could be the price, for others it could be the pain and for some it could be the quality. I know what I wanted was so vanilla, that anyone could not only do it, but do it quickly. Originally, I thought Koolsville could do it and I'm sure they could, but in reflection, I didn't want a tattoo that was going to fade or not look like a paid full price. If I had a car and parking wasn't an issue, I might have popped in on all the shops I considered, but again, knowing that what I wanted was a 1 on a scale of 1-10 in terms or effort or expertise, I just wanted to know I was going to get what I needed without being ripped-off or dismissed. The shop that I ended up using understood what I wanted, was able to confirm pricing ahead of time and ASSURED ME, IF I CAME IN, I'D BE TAKEN GOOD CARE OF. That didn't happen in my exchange with your staff. *********************************************************** Yelp claims to be a place of integrity, but at times the review system is abused. Reviews are intended to capture an experience. You don't have to spend money or even be a customer to have an experience with a business and that is exactly what I reviewed for Black Spade. I reached out to them about having work done while I was on vacation. Rather than call them rude or abrasive, which they were, I'll just say they were dismissive. Based on that interaction, I continued to request quotes from other vendors before being treated with respect by Illuminati Tattoos. So, unless Yelp has changed their policy and reviews now require a documented exchange of money. That is my first-hand recount of contacting Black Spade. Some times you got to call a spade a spade.

We found ourselves here the night before our flight, as I'm not one to trust a super cheap shop. Tony was amazing. I wanted to fit into the theme of north arrows but I didn't want to be literal as I already have a compass tattoo. I'm from Oregon and wanted a stalk of lavender and a bee. Tony understood the assignment and made it so artsy I can't stop looking at it. I'm not sure if I asked for an arrow, as I was exhausted from being out as sober support for my other surveyors after hours, but there is a shape of one with the bee and flower. I traced the lines on a photo because I am that professional and so my qa/qc . I truly love it! The whole appointment was a wonderful experience and now we both have a bee tattoo. I never get spontaneous tattoos and I'm so glad this worked out so well. I doubt I'll do it again unless I find Tony! I'll likely find him/travel if I get another larger tattoo in the future. Also, I want to note he was very respectful and aware I was a child of trauma with issues and a fidget toy. He not only watched for any buddy language, but also empathize with me in his families life experiences. Easiest tattoo experience I have had and it erased a "bad" experience relating to another tattoo artist, though their work was also very good.

I was in Vegas for a brief timeframe for friends wedding. I have been searching for the past 4 years for an artist and location that I can get a detailed forearm tattoo. I have tried San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, Portland, and other shops in Las Vegas. I have not found an artist that I would trust with this type of artwork. I checked Rockin Ink Tattoo after finding them on Yelp and noticed they were near where I was staying, as well as being open 24 hours. I took a shot and inquired if they had an artist that could do the specific tattoo I have been wanting, and if they did, did they have an opening that day or the next day. I received a text back from Leo, in a timely manner, stating that he did have an artist that specializes in what I was looking for. The tattoo artist, Valerie (Val), reached out to me in a quick manner. I sent her a pic of my wishes, and she sent back a question with a black and white template. It was exactly what I was looking for. Val stated that she had time the following day and would do the tattoo. She sent me some pics of her work, and it was exactly the style I wanted. I paid my deposit, showed up the next day for my appointment, and spent the rest of the evening in the chair. The result is absolutely amazing. She did a great job with the detail, and the overall experience was the best I have experienced with any of my previous tattoos. No need to look anywhere else, go to Rockin Ink Tattoo. If you are staying on the strip, you can take the mono-rail to the Westgate Casino Hotel instead of driving and finding expensive parking. read more

I've been going to Austin Walshington since he did my pinky promise tattoo during his apprenticeship in 2016 at Rockin Ink Tattoo.. He also did my memorial tattoo to my aunt who was murdered back in 2017. I wanted my favorite tattoo of her's in the same spot she had it. I cried so hard once I got to see it after he finished, because of how PERFECT he got it to look!!! His ablity to recreate it surpassed my expectations and thanks to him I now have a piece of her as a part of me !!! Everytime someone asks me if I know a reliable & talented artist when they're looking to get ink, I ALWAYS recommend Austin!!!! Currently, he's doing a gorgeous mandala style back piece for me to cover up some really bad scars I have that I'm insecure about. We are 2 sessions deep into it & I am absolutely in love with it so far !!! So whether someone's looking to get something new, original, a coverup, a correction, or even a recreation he can do it all!!!! His line work is SOOO on point!!!! I am always receiving comments/compliments on how clean my ink is .. My best friend and I are in Vegas from Orlando and we wanted something to remind us of our first time in Sin City! I did my research and came across this special little spot hidden in the Westgate Hotel! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a staff who definitely seemed like that wanted us there! It wasn't like some tattoo shops, where you walk in and everyone seems to busy to even look up and acknowledge your existence. As we walked in, we asked for Ray specifically because he is who I've read all the great reviews about, and he was right there ready to answer all questions! Need some ink? Come here!. I swear the artists, the owners, and even the apprentice are great people!. A friend and I wanted some souvenir tats for rollercon and we set up appointments on Friday and texted Leo our ideas later that day, Saturday he drew up exactly what we wanted and Sunday they delivered!. Marla was my artist (Leo did my friends and she too was very happy with hers), my friend and I ran a little late getting there to start with but they were understanding and fantastic even moving the placement of mine multiple times when asked. Marlas work is amaze balls!!!. The color is vibrant and beautiful. As for other staff, I witnessed the apprentice hold another clients hand because she was in pain with her foot tattoo AND he totally took nerdy tourist pics for us in front of their sign. I was referred to this shop and artist by a mutual friend. First let's start with the shop which was very welcoming everyone talked to everyone, they even showed their apprentices things they do for the tattoos. Now for the artist review! Austin is a cool cat he did an awesome job with the tattoo I wanted even better than I could of ever imagined in my head. And his singing is great! So, three middle-aged +, Midwestern sisters walk into a tattoo shop in Vegas. Yeah, it happened. We all wanted a small flower tattoo, same design but different colors. The manager immediately drew up the design - perfect. As we were talking as a group, I immediately knew that I had to ask Ray to be my artist. I did, and he agreed. We scheduled for the next day. This was my first tattoo and I went to see Austin. Duh, my tattoo was something totally basic, but halfway through the process, I was already thinking about something original for the next one. This place is amazing. I walked by on my way to breakfast and couldn't resist checking it out. The shop is neat, clean and has a cool atmosphere. Went back the next day and Ray started sketching out my tattoo immediately. He put his own twist on it and I couldn't be happier. Armando is by far the best artist I've ever been to. This guy does it all- from black and grey to polka trash and portraits, whatever you ask for, he'll deliver. He's been tattooing me for going on 5 years now and is the only person I will ever let touch my skin with a tattoo machine. He puts his all into every piece he does. Unfortunately, the combination of limited time and an inability to research the shops kept me from getting art. Coming to Vegas, I thought this would be another great opportunity to get a solid tattoo for a reasonable price. I called and emailed shops and 2/3 wouldn't quote me unless I sent them scale artwork. I explained there is no artwork, I want her name and the years she was alive. That was a total of 12 characters and I envisioned her name taking the space of a fortune cookie fortune and the years combined taking the same. Simple, easy and the only factor was the font, but again, I'm agreeable. The two shops that gave me quotes basically told me, "No problem, but our shop minimum is $175-$200. Your work sounds like less, but those are the prices". Now if Koolsville can do a $10 tattoo, certainly something of my scale should qualify for a discount. When I reached out to Illuminati, I was told the shop minimum was $100 and I was encouraged to come in. Lou took excellent care of me. He not only gave me the 12 characters for the shop minimum, but he touched up an existing tattoo of mine for no charge. Come on bro! If there is such a thing as a tattoo lottery, I WON IT. I now have my angel on my arm and received the warmest possible welcome to Las Vegas. This appears to be a shop that will earn your business, your positive review and trust. In general, I'm not a tattoo fan, but I will happily tell anyone I know headed to Vegas, if they are in the market for ink, look up Lou.

Instead of handling the confusion professionally, the communication became rude and disrespectful. Customers should not be insulted or blamed over a payment issue, especially when screenshots and proof were provided. The tattoo work may be good, but professionalism and customer service matter too. By the end, the whole situation felt unorganized and unprofessional.

I explained to him what I wanted and he was extremely patient with me. He also educated me and made suggestions to make sure I would be forever happy! I am extremely excited and happy with the outcome! The place is clean. He was super nice and friendly and the price is reasonable. He also made me check and double check the stencil to make sure it is what I wanted. Strongly recommended!!! He is the best!!!!!!!

Fultz is amazing as well, he has done one of my tattoos and is planning to do my husband's sleeve, his colors POP! Although she has been with Aimee for several years, she has not been to this location (Tattoo Shop). It's clean, all the artists are extremely creative & have their specialty; Aimee was incredible. It was a little one we did (matched) & it was exactly what we were looking for. A couple friends and I were feeling impulsive and NEEDED tattoos…read more We didn't have an appointment set so we tried calling a bunch of places but kept getting hit with 1 hour wait times. I found this place on yelp and decided to give them a call on and as soon as Vivian told me that they didn't have anything planned all night, we rushed over immediately! We didn't even know this shop was located inside the Stratosphere until the map led us to the parking garage. The shop is located on the second floor near the McDonald's and Fat Tuesday. For my tattoo I pulled up a quick photo of a butterfly (basic I know) to reference and Vivian was so chill (has a BOMB personality and tattoos) and quick to draw up a stencil. I watched her tattoo me the whole time and it was fascinating to watch her work! She is so steady and is AMAZING at what she does. My friends and I were so comfortable getting tattooed by these lovely ladies! With the placement of mine, I can't stop staring at it and I have no regrets! His attention to detail is second to none. He's also a super nice guy. You can tell how passionate he is about his art from the way he talks about his upcoming projects, trips, and seminars (ps ask him about his sketch book ). His pricing is very reasonable too. Tob is the only guy I will let work on my sleeve and soon I'll be looking to get a large leg piece as well :) The shop itself is kept very clean. Everyone at the shop is very nice and friendly. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves…read more My experience with the tattoo artist Brian was not the issue, but I'm honestly really disappointed with how this turned out. My issue is with the tattoo itself. I had an 11 AM appointment, arrived on time, and had already paid a deposit the day before. For a shop that's recognized as one of the "top 5 tattoo shops in Las Vegas," and all of the 5 star reviews I expected a much higher level of care and attention. I've also tried leaving a review on google 2x and both have been unsuccessful. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this is a permanent mistake made by the artist, not the client. The tattoo is NOT well done. There are visible marks on his hand that were made "by accident," as well as marks underneath and above the tattoo (the random circles and shading) that were never supposed to be there. We only asked for the outline of the car, and it does not reflect what we discussed. He tried covering this up mid tattoo passing it off as "burnout marks" which we denied adding so he had to let us know he "fucked up". He mentioned he had tattooed a full thigh piece the night before, and I can't help but feel like that may have played a role. If that's the case, there should be more consideration around how many hours are being worked and what appointments are being taken, especially when it impacts the quality of permanent work. He did give us our money back, which I appreciate, but that was the least that could've been done considering the situation. Unfortunately, this is something my partner now has to fix. I hope more care and attention is given in the future, especially considering how permanent this work is.

I went in as a walk-in to ask for some dumb favor (needed my septum ring changed out and already had my own jewelry and it required pliers). There were two guys. One always lied and one always told the truth and they guarded two doors. Just kidding but there were two guys and one had kind of friendly midwestern dad vibes and the other one the piercer seemed like he was experiencing the worst person he'd ever met when I showed up and who knows maybe I was the worse person he'd ever met. anyway he was as nice as he could muster and extremely professional and prompt and very very good at his job and I would go back for a ton of real piercings absolutely 10/10 also it's near a great bookstore, also they do have a little "no crybabies" sign so bear that in mind if you're a crybaby.
