Tob is THE man at this shop! I've been coming to him for a year and each time I leave the shop happy and ecstatic about my new ink. Tob really takes his time with each of his clients. His attention to detail is second to none. He's also a super nice guy. You can tell how passionate he is about his art from the way he talks about his upcoming projects, trips, and seminars (ps ask him about his sketch book ). His pricing is very reasonable too. Tob is the only guy I will let work on my sleeve and soon I'll be looking to get a large leg piece as well :) The shop itself is kept very clean. Everyone at the shop is very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend! read more

this one is for my boy, the talented and AWESOME Enrique. Everyone at this shop is super talented but Enrique has been by far the best part of the shop for me. why? 1) Enrique is such a great collaborator. Any ideas I had, he was open to hearing and giving me exactly what I wanted and asked for. Down the smallest details, he patiently waited until I was fully satisfied 2) Price. Absolutely reasonable and likely CANNOT be beat. 3) I recommended him to partners and closest friends trusting that he would be just as good to them as he was with me. I was right, the 3 people that went to see him was so grateful to meet such a nice and talented artist. 4) the shop is squeaky clean, but I love that before be begins working, he'll show me that he's using brand new razors and needles. 5) He works on my art on his down time so the moment I get to the shop. he's ready to go I've already come back to him for 2 large pieces. We're already working together on the next. As long as I have access to Enrique, he will be my artist for life read more

Set up an appointment for an anti eyebrow tattoo and it went great they had me in and out pretty quickly and the work was done professionally with correct type of jewelry. I could tell the lady really knew what she was doing and was also super nice! Beautiful shop by the way. read more

Junnie is our guy!! He did my boyfriend and I's tattoo's and he was amazing. It was my first big tattoo so I was pretty nervous too. I had this idea in my head how I wanted my first big tattoo to be except I don't know how to draw so I wasn't sure how to bring it to life. We went in for a consultation and it was just cake from there. Junnie knew exactly how to do my boyfriends and he got to be creative with mine. He definitely got my vision of how I wanted it to look like. I can't wait to come back and get more tattoos from him! Clean studio and very very humble guy! I came in to this shop around March or April with my sister, I came in to check up on her now and then, she got her tattoo done here by an artist named Tobs. The artists here seems friendly and chill until this loud woman walks in the door with a complete set of nasty vibes. Im not a customer so I thought nothing of it. What bothered me was that I over heard this woman who does piercing here talking shit about her customers to one of the artists after they had left and paid for her service. Later on she introduced herself as Nathalie and when she noticed me she started to entice me and my sister to get a piercing from her. I told my sister later "Hell NO!" and what had happened. I don't write much negative reviews but the last thing you want is supporting an business that has ugly negative employees! read more

This is a personal one. A touchy subject that brings tears to my eyes. My hero, my Dad, the reason for my cultural pride. And just pride in general. It was time for a memorial tattoo piece for him, to represent his favorite things, and mark myself with a way for him to find me someday in the unknown, or the other way around, through time and space. I was researching artists, flipping through pictures on Yelp, finding any signs I could that would tell me my Dad is watching through the veil. And low and behold, Dad's favorite scripture, tattooed by Kevin here at LAS Ink, with the cleanest lines, and artful Polynesian influence, it was clear I was being pointed his way. So I got in contact with him, told him my ideas, sent a few pictures for inspiration, visited the shop which felt very comforting, and he got back to me with a sketch that felt like he had plucked it from my brain. It absolutely floored me (see sketch!). That is my father's handwriting, "A Hui Hou" means "until we meet again" in Hawaiian. IN HIS HANDWRITING, Kevin had taken the letters from a birthday card my Dad had sent me last year. We made an appointment, and I stared at the sketch every moment I could until the day came. Kevin is kind, and calming, sort of like a doctor. Knowledgeable, meticulous, very laid back, and extremely conscientious. Always ensuring if I was ok, but straight to the point in his masterful way with the gun. This man is a true artist in every shape of the word. I would visit this shop over and over again, and be happy to be tatted by any of the artists. I felt my Dad with me that day. I know he'd be so proud of the work that was done on my arm. Bad experience!! Tattooist/owner charged my card $150.00 on top of the $600.00 fee I was set to pay for no apparent reason. Then lied to cover their tracks. He later admitted to charging my card an extra $150.00 and huffed and puffed when I asked for my $150 back in cash. He gave me $100 cash back and then said $50.00 charge for using a card for payment. Which was another lie. At this point I took a loss as it was late and I had to drive back to LA tired and disappointed. I really think the artist is a passive aggressive and purposely held back on his talent because he was having a rough day. I could tell his heart wasn't in it. This was my second visit to the studio that month and paid $1000 on my first visit. $600 second visit. I intended to have a lot of work done. No idea why he would act this way to a loyal customer. read more

First time coming here was 2014. Came because one of the tattoo artists were having a Thanksgiving sale. After reaching the shop, we saw that there was a pretty big line for the guy with the sale, so I decided to ask one of the other artists who didn't seem as busy if he could do mine. I explained to Thrasher what I wanted, two roses, and he explained to me that he prefers doing realistic tattoos. After a little research, he created his own masterpiece of my request using two roses printed out. As someone who honestly didn't put much thought into my tattoo, I was so amazed at Thrasher's work. He truly captured the beauty of the roses and applied all its realistic details onto me. I've never been more thankful that the other artist's line was way too long for my patience. Thrasher's work really impressed me. His line work was one of the bests of seen, and not to mention his coloring and careful work with his art is breathtaking. Of course, after my first amazing experience I decided to go to him again for my half sleeve. After trying out designs from other shops, only he gave me the most creative and closest representation of what I wanted. My tiger tattoo was 100% freehanded. I still remember how he put his headphones on, blasted his music, putting immense concentration and expertise into the tattoo, getting lost in the trance of his art. No outline was drawn, and never have I been more happy that I trusted him. For something that's going to be on you for the rest of your life, I think it's amazing when you can trust the professional placing it on your body. read more

Monk does excellent work! I went in on New Years Day with my wife and a friend. I had a general idea of a tattoo I wanted, but I was also hopeful that the tattoo artist would be creative and talented enough to take my idea for a tattoo to the next level. I trusted Monk and his recommendations on the tattoo and it came out better than anything I had originally imagined. My wife and friend also got tattooed by Monk and they were equally as impressed. I was particularly in awe as he tattooed the smallest letters I had ever seen on a tattoo for a quote that my wife had wanted. He showed incredible focus. He was very easy to talk to and we had some great conversations while we were there. He even has great control of his arm and isn't heavy-handed like some artists out there, so the tattoo healed up perfectly. I highly recommend Monk. I showed him what I was thinking of getting and ended up scheduling an appointment to come in a few weekends later. Super happy with his work and he did a badass job of covering up an old tattoo. We are here in Vegas on vacation from Kentucky and my son was wanting a tatoo. Of course in Vegas there are tatoo shops everywhere. So I went to Yelp for guidance. L A S Ink Tatoo came up with good reviews. Being off the strip we thought we would give it a try. What my son wanted, a runners wing right above the ankle was no problem for Michael. What can I say, Kevin S. has taken care of me once again. I was referred to him about two years ago from a close friend of mine, and I have been coming back since! Not only did he do an amazing job on the tattoo I came in to get, he also took time to touch up a little fading on my first tattoo! He went above and beyond expected, and is even helping me with fixing up a different tattoo that I have; which didn't turn out as well as I had hope. But don't worry, that was not his work haha. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgable. The vibe within the store is great, there is music or movies always playing. Got the inside of my lip tattooed there a couple nights ago. He charged me 80 for it. I was happy with it when I left. But not even 24 hours later, it's already pretty much almost faded gone. I understand inner lip tattoos don't stay long. From what I've read, I was expecting it to fade like maybe a month to 6 months later anyway. But NOT even 24 hours and it's already almost gone?! I'm guessing the dude just didn't go over it enough times or just didn't go deep enough. It's like, why would I have even paid almost 100$ for a days worth of ink. Might as well have gotten a 25¢ temporary tattoo from a quarter machine. Waaaaste of money. read more

Went here for a Friday the 13th tattoo with my coworkers. It was cool that they let you modify or bring in your own design and not limit you to just their sheets. They didn't have enough artists working, even though we were told there would be 6 on, so we waited a good while, but that was expected since the date is popular for tattoos. Overall it was an ok experience, but I wouldn't recommend this place. It wasn't organized and I didn't see anyone wash their hands after smoke breaks. read more

My wife and I came into the shop with our own design of what we wanted to commemorate our 25th anniversary .. we met Michael and he not only liked our idea but wanted to be the one to do the tattoos .. after all was said and done my wife and I walked out of the shop happier then we walked in ... I plan to go back to get additional stuff put on .. cuz while we were there looking at the work this shop did I was impressed ... Junnie killed it with my tattoo he took the time to carefully realign the design to make sure it fit with my original tattoo. His Line work is the straightest I've ever seen and the blacks that he used were Bold and the tattoo healed better than any other tattoo I've ever gotten and I have about 10. Customer service is friendly and attentive the shop is clean and the prices are reasonable. 100% will return. I also got a small tattoo from Mike on Friday the 13th and it healed well and looks great he even took the time to give me a follow up call to make sure it didn't need any touch-ups or anything. I would highly recommend this place specially my tattoo artist Steve Thrasher. He has been my go to guy since I've moved to Vegas 3 years ago. He is very great at what he does. He is light handed, very creative, lines are amazing, he takes his time to create a great tattoo. Both tattoos from him are my best tattoos so far. The only variable I didn't define if the font. I assumed the tattoo artist would know best what would work. For some reason, they wanted me to provide artwork. I get it, you do a lot of work and everybody wants something different, but I just wanted a name and date, since the size was specified, the only thing left to debate was the type style. For some reason, they couldn't or wouldn't quote me, I was told that there was a good chance it would be the shop minimum, but they couldn't confirm and with it being 110 degrees, I didn't want to be shuffling up and down the strip when any competent shop should have been able to quote me in advance. That did in fact happen here, and when the people at Illuminati were clear and told me they would present me with font choice that didn't elevate their quote, I ended up using them. Brian did mine, and I absolutely love how it turned out. Alex took care of my friend's tattoo and did amazing work. Abi did my wife's piece, and it came out beautifully. The fact that you claim the only way to get your best service is to come in is exactly how and why you earned a single star review. So here is my PSA if you care to rectify what you did wrong. Disarm customers. People have stigmas about tattoo. For some it could be the price, for others it could be the pain and for some it could be the quality. I know what I wanted was so vanilla, that anyone could not only do it, but do it quickly. Originally, I thought Koolsville could do it and I'm sure they could, but in reflection, I didn't want a tattoo that was going to fade or not look like a paid full price. If I had a car and parking wasn't an issue, I might have popped in on all the shops I considered, but again, knowing that what I wanted was a 1 on a scale of 1-10 in terms or effort or expertise, I just wanted to know I was going to get what I needed without being ripped-off or dismissed. The shop that I ended up using understood what I wanted, was able to confirm pricing ahead of time and ASSURED ME, IF I CAME IN, I'D BE TAKEN GOOD CARE OF. That didn't happen in my exchange with your staff. *********************************************************** Yelp claims to be a place of integrity, but at times the review system is abused. Reviews are intended to capture an experience. You don't have to spend money or even be a customer to have an experience with a business and that is exactly what I reviewed for Black Spade. I reached out to them about having work done while I was on vacation. Rather than call them rude or abrasive, which they were, I'll just say they were dismissive. Based on that interaction, I continued to request quotes from other vendors before being treated with respect by Illuminati Tattoos. So, unless Yelp has changed their policy and reviews now require a documented exchange of money. That is my first-hand recount of contacting Black Spade. Some times you got to call a spade a spade.

We found ourselves here the night before our flight, as I'm not one to trust a super cheap shop. Tony was amazing. I wanted to fit into the theme of north arrows but I didn't want to be literal as I already have a compass tattoo. I'm from Oregon and wanted a stalk of lavender and a bee. Tony understood the assignment and made it so artsy I can't stop looking at it. I'm not sure if I asked for an arrow, as I was exhausted from being out as sober support for my other surveyors after hours, but there is a shape of one with the bee and flower. I traced the lines on a photo because I am that professional and so my qa/qc . I truly love it! The whole appointment was a wonderful experience and now we both have a bee tattoo. I never get spontaneous tattoos and I'm so glad this worked out so well. I doubt I'll do it again unless I find Tony! I'll likely find him/travel if I get another larger tattoo in the future. Also, I want to note he was very respectful and aware I was a child of trauma with issues and a fidget toy. He not only watched for any buddy language, but also empathize with me in his families life experiences. Easiest tattoo experience I have had and it erased a "bad" experience relating to another tattoo artist, though their work was also very good.
