I really appreciated that and scheduled an appointment, but it ended up being canceled and needed to be rescheduled. I definitely should have followed up sooner after that, and that's on me. I was honestly just nervous about reaching out and asking about it. But I originally paid around $160 plus tip, so I was disappointed when I reached back out and was told it would now be $165 to fix the banding because it had been over a week (around the two week mark). I completely understand that time had passed and I should have communicated sooner, but the main issue for me is that this just isn't what I wanted my hair to look like. Now I'm stuck with noticeable banding, and the only solution I really have at the moment is to get a box of dye and try to DIY it myself into a darker color. But I really loved the cut, and she was super sweet, which is why I'm just disappointed with how everything ended up.

I didn't speak up during the cut, as the stylist's tone made it very uncomfortable to do so. When I asked questions or suggested changes.. she went from using her very animated customer service voice (which was also uncomfortable....) to using a sarcastic and condescending voice with an irritated look on her face.. (Noya was my stylist) After going home and styling my hair myself.. I was really dissatisfied and decided to reach back out.. the receptionist was kind and helpful, I was told I'd get a phone call THAT DAY as well as a follow up text to rebook with the same stylist. well.. I didn't get the call but did get the text the NEXT DAY.. so i decided to just go elsewhere. Paid $25 at another salon and got exactly what I wanted. I'm sure it works for some, but for me, $130 for a trim vs. $25 for a great cut says everything. I went in for a trim and all over color (Nicole referred to this as a gloss) which sometimes is scary because a trim to one person may not be a trim to another. My hair has never felt this fresh!
