She was warm, friendly and took time to understand my skincare goals. The facial targeting blemish-prone skin was gentle yet effective at clarifying my face and setting me up for clearer skin for weeks ahead. I think one of my favorite parts is how Covid safe they are being. All staff and clients are still wearing masks out of kindness of protecting everyone. I truly felt transported to a different era. Possibly a Moulin Rouge vibe or french garden feel to the shop. I don't know exactly, but I do know I liked it. As soon as you walk into this vintage botany natural beauty store you know you made a good choice in coming in. The owner immediately honored me with an enduring, yet energetic welcoming. She was very knowledgeable of her product without being overbearing. I ended up buying three items all of which Im thus far happy with. Indigo (owner) carries a beautiful all natural line that is wonderful for your skin and has a huge following. That being said, she also concocts her own magic skin potions that are packaged in beautiful old fashioned amber, peridot or cobalt bottles. In addition, her spa menu looks divine, I will be making a facial appointment in the near future and will give an update once I do so. Well done Indigo! Keep up the excellent customer service. The receptionist at front counter (each time was not Indigo's voice), claimed that Indigo wouldn't have an available opening for four to six weeks out. Really, that is a little ridiculous?!? Each attempt I gave the receptionist a full range of two weeks that I would be able to go with in that range, anytime. Unfortunately, the receptionist was not apologetic and seemingly could care less. One of the attempts to make an appointment the receptionist put me on hold for five mins.... I felt, she wanted me to just hang up and go away; but I didn't. I purposely stayed on the phone for her return just to see how long it would take. Not sure if maybe Indigo sold her business or what was really going on but after four attempts of me trying to spend money at this small Albuquerque business.....I decided to go else where. One can easily purchase Eminence Organic Skin Care online and or simply go purchase at Sandia Resort and Spa, I was just trying to support a smaller local business but I suppose my support is not needed here. I was recently visiting NM and wanted a spa day. I decided to book thru Yes given the ratings. It did not disappoint! While, admittedly, I was looking at a physical spa experience in a surrounding that was peaceful and calm I believe they might be in the midst of doing some remodeling? I had an amazing facial and organic eye treatment by Casey and she was really great. She was very experienced, took great care and delivered a refreshing facial that I would definitely do again! I was then walked over to the nail salon where they do massage. (hence my comment about not the physical surrounding I was expecting) I had a 90 min hot stone massage with Sara and let me tell you ... in the 30+ years I have had massages - Sara blew everyone away! It was the most amazing experience I have ever had! Many times with hot stone massage it's seems the hot stones are used as an obligatory 10-20 min but Sara incorporated them throughout and it was incredible. I can't quite explain with words what made this so wonderful - it was clear that she was the art of massage, she wasn't just going thru rote motions. She was detailed and methodical and thorough and caring. I wish I could find the right words but I tell you I will be looking her up every chance I get to Albuquerque. Let me lead this with I love Eminance products and that's why I went there. With that said, I left so mad as I left feeling like my skin was worse than when I arrived. Felt very insecure about the esthetician (who was not Indigo) at the beginning/consult and it became clear our communication was not good. From basic stuff that's customary and was lacking: Lack of hair-hold-back around head Zero lip moisturizer Zero sunscreen (although subsequently attained from the trials in the retail store) Bigger problems: Pierced (yes, blood) from extraction tool (beyond aggressive with extractions). Lumps and bumps left also. I question that the esthetician actually exfoliated AND also applied an exfoliating peel. Very saddened to be writing this, more saddened by what I see in the mirror in terms of damage done. Ambience/decoration: eclectic 2. Customer service: The owner is the epitome of excellent customer service. She always greets you with a smile, tea, and a piece of chocolate. Prior to your facial, she will do a consultation and go over skin areas that you would like to improve, discuss the product she's going to use and the reason for them. Will I come back? Yes! Came in for a Yes Organic Signature facial. Indigo started me out with a cup of tea, and helpful hints for my skin. Then, she exfoliated, extracted, steamed, hydrated, applied masque, put on sunscreen, and massaged-- not necessarily in that order. I get blackheads easily, but she got rid of the latest bunch. The accompanying massage is the perfect de-stresser for any burnt-out person. An honest businessperson too, which I always appreciate. Both of us come from the same area where tipping is done differently, and she let me know that I was overtipping. I made her keep it anyways. What a gorgeous, inviting space, with soothing dark wood and green walls, and a super friendly, but not overbearing staff. You feel at peace just walking in. I was looking for some elegant, locally sourced gifts for my brother in law and mother in law (who have birthdays within a week of each other, lucky me). This place far exceeded my expectations: from face oil to elegantly scented soy candles to beautiful soaps, there was plenty for me to choose from. The packaging is sophisticated and the products smell and feel far more expensive than their price tags would suggest. I love this day spa. I have had a facial, massage therapy as well as a pedicure and have always left a happy lady. Each service was excellent and I would highly recommend any service with confidence. The ambiance is clean and welcoming. Kaylee, the aesthetician is fabulous. She offers a wonderful facial and is very knowledgeable and offers guidance on caring for my skin at home. Sara is the massage therapist and she also offers a wonderful massage. After my massage I feel so relaxed and it always has a lasting effect on my achy bones. The pedicure was one of best pedi's I have ever had. It was a bit pricy but well worth the money because it lasts well over several weeks. THE BEST. This is the place I have been looking for. As an admitted spa head, I've kissed a lot of frogs and I will tell you, Yes Organic (nothing to do with the overpriced grocery chain in DC by the same name) has integrity behind its work. Services and products both get five stars. I had a signature facial and it was thorough, soothing and indulgent. Yes, it's in a tiny back room of the store front but I would trade all the high ceiling-ed, lavish, high tech treatment rooms for this intimate and devoted room thanks to the quality of care. I was so blissed out, when she did a few extractions I did not shed a tear -- that is my usual reaction to the nose region. When she first placed my hand back on the table during the massage (during the mask) I actually had a second of having to recognize, "oh yeah, that's my hand, and my arm attached to my body" as I was so zoned out. I'm telling you, there may be a little magic going on in there. Warning: that lymphatic drainage massage stuff is no joke. I felt like some after effects of things I did in my early twenties about an hour after, more than a little disorienting but not unwelcome. Warning: their store made products are not just beautifully packaged but actually work in a way that you can feel. You'll wish you bought more. The pricing is more than reasonable. I was in town for work when I saw that I had an eyebrow emergency, i.e. I needed to get them cleaned up and done. I am very particular about my eyebrows and was looking for a place that is both clean and highly recommended. I saw this boutique had good reviews so I decided to take a chance. I called and spoke with a very cordial woman over the phone letting me know they could take me immediately. I came in and once in the door I was greeted by the owner and her employee, both very nice and very knowledgeable of all their organic products and their services. I was blown away! I had my eyebrows waxed and tinted as well as my lip waxed. The henna tint was amazing, I don't need to fill in my eyebrows but they look natural and full! I told them that I had a severe coconut allergy and they told me that was fine that if I found a product that I liked but it had coconut that they can make it for me without it! I mean really?!?! Yes, Yes, Yes! So, I'm basically in love with Yes Organic Boutique and Spa. Indigo is amazing. Walking into her shop you almost can't believe that you have never walked in before. (Don't answer that) I've definitely have seen it because I love Jubilation that is across the street (note to self, check if I have done a review for Jubilation after this) but I've never taken the time to walk in. Indigo greeted me upon arriving. You immediately feel how warm and lovely she is. You can't help but get excited to start your treatment. We made our way over to the lovely little couch she has on her main floor. She has some lovely hot tea, water, and/or specialty chocolate to keep you company while you have a chat or peruse the boutique floor. Indigo discusses your skin and if the treatment you have picked is the right choice. Thankfully, I had picked the right one. She walked me back into the treatment room and I just couldn't believe that it was getting better. The room is so....warm and beautiful. Literally and figuratively. Heaven on earth! I had chosen the Arctic Berry Peel and Illuminating treatment. It was 80 minutes of pure, pure bliss. I had a growth on my nose that left a nasty scar and I'm 22 weeks pregnant which I feel has changed my skin. I needed something to diminish the scar and rejuvenate my skin. This treatment is everything. EVERYTHING! After the treatment, I met Indigo on the boutique floor, where she brought out some product recommendation, some lovely samples, and after care instructions. On top of that, I had taken a stroll around the shop and had picked up a few goodies for myself and the hubby. The shop is chalk full of hand crafted (by Indigo) soaps, balms, fragrances. Plus, other natural products and make-up. She also has a small offering of affordably priced jewels - just in case you need a unique gift. Let me start by saying I am torn between a four and five star review. I have been to this little boutique three times now for waxing services. Each time I have been greeted and helped quickly. With that said I feel that each of my experiences have quite different. Indigo the owner has been there each time and owns all three spaces associated. Each time I've been waxed I have been in a totally different location. The very first time I went in for a bikini wax with Courtney and it was great but sadly she has since left. A couple months later I went in for an eyebrow wax with Birdie which was a good experience. She is nice though somewhat quiet but did a good job on my brows. I have since gone back to get another bikini wax but this time from Indigo. As expected she was very nice and professional and even gave me a sample of a product to help with ingrown hairs. I will say she is not quite the extremely talkative bubble person I feel most estheticians are but i'm sure that's great for facials and other services she offers. Overall I think their prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the experience and I will continue to return. read more

I went in to see Indigo for the One Hour Personalized Organic Facial and it was AMAZING. I highly recommend Yes Organic Spa and that facial in particular, especially if you're looking to relax - the neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage included with the facial practically put me to sleep! And I came out feeling totally rejuvenated and my skin looked bright and refreshed.
