This is a really cool spot with good food! First time visiting as everyone else hadbeen many times, it did not disappoint. We sat outside under the canopy looking over the beach and it's a great view. The place was very busy (Saturday night) but the servers are on top of everything I can admit. Food didn't take long, service was good and we had no issues with anything. Seem to have a ton of seating both indoors and outside. First time ever eating avocado, the avocado fries are pretty tasty. Fried perfectly and a great flavour inside. They also got Mexican street corn and queso. The queso was very very good, but I'm not a fan of corn although I did try it. Everything within the appetizers was really good. I got the classic cheeseburger which came with tater tots, and my girl got rockin shrimp tacos which I think came with rice. My burger was good. Cooked medium, it's a fairly bigger patty with lettuce tomato and onion, overall pretty good burger. I took a bite of a taco and I must say it was actually excellent. I'm much of a traditionalist and don't like things out of the ordinary on a "taco" but these were awesome! Kinda wish I would've gotten some. Service was ok. Food was terrible. My husband ordered the Ahi Tuna tacos and said the tasted fishy and could not finish them, my son ordered the cheeseburger tacos and he took one bite and could not eat anymore, my other son got the lobster tacos which were dry, fishy, and absolutely not worth the price. I order the shrimp tacos, menu says lighted breaded they are heavily breaded and the shrimp was very dry. We all left with upset stomachs, I cannot believe we spent so much money for completely awful food. Will not return. read more

We came in on a Friday afternoon. The place looked pretty packed but we were able to find a seat on the patio. Even though it was blazing hot outside it didn't seem as hot on the patio. We ordered the fried lobster tacos and the shredded chicken tacos with queso chips and salsa. Those chips and queso were banging I must say lol They seemed like they were right out of the oven. Mixed review with Rockin Tacos. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was fantastic. The chips, salsa, and queso were very bland tasting. Definitely not what is expected from a Mexican restaurant. The flautas and street corn were great, but the carnitas tacos were bland. We also got margaritas that were tasty, but really didn't seem to have a lot of alcohol in them. Our server was awesome though. It was ok for a one-time visit, but we probably won't return. This restaurant has outdoor seating which overlooks the beach. That's a huge win! My server was friendly and very attentive. My cousin ordered the steak tacos which looked really good. I ordered Mexican corn and lobster tacos which I didn't enjoy at all. The Mexican corn was cob appeared to have been grilled. The corn kernels were very chewy and it was drenched in a spicy mayonnaise I didn't like. The lobster tacos were very salty and I didn't enjoy it at all. The peach mojito was very good. It had two large (assuming canned) peach slices in it and the mojito mix was very light and refreshing. I would go back for the drinks for sure. read more

Do not eat here. This place is disgusting and has horrible customer service. The steak burrito was nothing but rice and a few pieces of steak. The waitresses were rude. I ordered my food and asked for no rice and when I received the food it had rice and I said I didn't want rice and the waitress said "what you want me to scrape it off". Every time our original waitress would come by she would slam down silver ware, water glasses, etc. The manager was an idiot. He was stunned when we complained like how dare we have issues. Anyway, the only reason this place is in business is because it caters to out of owners and it overlooks the beach. If this place was in a suburb area, it would be out of business. read more

Being from Cali I'm a BIG fan of tacos...My friend and I ordered the nachos to share and they were so good... basic but very tasty. Just chip... cheese... and beans... I could have eaten the whole plate. I then ordered the 2 taco combo. I was able to mix and match which is always a plus. I had the rockin shrimp taco and the Baja fish taco. The tortillas are made fresh which is a nice touch. The shrimp taco was pretty good. Definitely my favorite between the 2. The shrimp was seasoned to perfection... the Baja fish taco was okay ... it was missing some flavor for me. Menu says it comes with slaw but in all honestly it's really just purple cabbage. I Guess I was expecting purple and savoy mixed some type of slaw dressing. But over all still enjoyed my food. Now for service . The place was packed. The Bartenders were nice and made good recommendations... and never forgot about us. food came out very quickly and was hot which is always good... Stopped in for a small lunch so we ordered chips with salsa & queso and Mexican corn. The corn came on the ear, not a bowl. It was ok. Lots of hot sauces available as well as margaritas. Our waitress, Deidre, was great. A beer was $11, soft drinks were $4. Granted, the place is on the beach but an $11 beer is twice the price we paid the night before. Greg greeted us immediately after we were seated right away by the hostess, served us with a smile, the perfect amount of attentiveness, and was especially on point with the little things. Greg is a stellar employee and should be commended for his professionalism, kindness, and jolly demeanor. The food...omg... I'm a fine fish taco expert...and am not easily impressed, but my Baja Fish Tacos were awesome!! Not the same old fish tacos!! My husband's were also fabulous!! He got the Yellowfin Tuna Taco...seared to rare perfection!! The black beans were seasoned and cooked just right, and the Spanish rice was yummy!! Lastly...why we chose Rockin' Tacos...the view...WOW!! The Emerald Coast always stuns the rookie beach goer...but even a seasoned Florida beach loving couple like us understand how special the white sand beaches and emerald green waters of the panhandle are. And Rockin' Tacos is blessed to overlook a YUGE expanse of such splendor! God's country indeed!! A great lunch, awesome server, and a beautiful place all around! For the final touch...the General Manager, Alto, greeted us after we finished our meal to ensure everything was marvelous.
