I recently purchased a Mercedes CLS550 from Rockland Auto Brokers, Randolph, Ma and I couldn't be happier with the car and service I received. I had been looking for quite some time for a Mercedes with specific options like the one I found at Rockland Auto Brokers, but I just couldn't find it and the ones that I had looked at were overpriced and had high mileage. I was pleasantly surprised when I drove from NH to their showroom in Randolph. In the Showroom, they had 15-20 pristine high end vehicles, Mercedes, BMW, Bentley, Hummer and Corvettes. I was greeted by salesman Doug who was extremely professional and worked closely with me throughout the acquisition process. There was no pressure during the sale and Doug was very informative, answering all of my questions and worked with me to get the best deal on the car. Doug explained that they had recently received the car that I was looking to buy and that he wanted to make the car whole before it left their showroom. Doug was very honest and fair during the buying process. We looked over the vehicle together and I noticed the car brake pads were worn, plus, one of the lower rocker panels had a small crack in it. Doug didn't hesitate and stepped up right away letting me know that they will replace all of the pads and rotors, all four tires (tires were in pretty good shape) do an oil change, plus, fix the cracked rocker panel. I went to buy this car on a Friday an and by the following Friday Rockland had my car ready for me with all of the repairs completed. The car looks and runs like new. My experience with Rockland was very positive. Doug kept in touch with me during the entire time, calling and texting me letting me know about the process and repairs that were getting done. Avoid this dealership - Deceptive "Bait and Switch" I contacted this dealer regarding a truck listed at $11,995. I spoke with the sales team, agreed on the price, and authorized a credit pull to begin the financing process. I repeatedly offered a deposit, which they refused to take while assuring me the truck was held for me. Spoke with Doug everyday and Andre ran credit After waiting four days for their bank to respond, they notified me I was approved--but then immediately hiked the price to $14,995, claiming the original price was a "mistake." They refused to honor the agreed-upon price even though they had already run my credit for the lower amount. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I recently purchased a 2012 Cadillac Escalade Ext from a salesman named, Doug. I noticed a suspension light on in the dashboard. He said he was fixing it and that the light is no longer on. I had the car shipped to Long Island and when I received the car, the light was on. I also noticed that the driver side seat did not adjust and needed a new motor. When I called Doug, he said he would get back to me, which he didn't. I sent him a copy of the repair bill, and he again has not gotten back to me. In addition, I ran a CarFax on the vehicle and it showed that the odometer had been turned back, which he denied having knowledge of. It was stated "every major mechanical system has been inspected and found to be in good working order" Upon driving found out the sunroof was not functioning and the passenger window was faulty. Doug (The main car salesmen) told me that would be fixed by them. Not only was the sunroof not functioning, it would leak when raining. Took it to the Mercedes dealership and they said it would cost at least $3,995 to fix. Adrianno seemed to try his best to fix the situation but would not give me a full refund of the car since it was falsely advertised and falsely promised to be fixed by Doug. Apparently Adrianno wasn't aware of the issue of the car and didn't know that his staff was making false promises. Took the L in the long run and settled for $600 cash, a replacement sunroof so the leaking stopped but the sunroof still wouldn't open and "free" installation of better struts and suspension (that I purchased) since it was riding rough. The passenger window was worked on twice and is still faulty currently. In conclusion gave two stars instead of one because Adrianno seemed to make an effort to clear up my issue. The whole process took about 2-3 months and a lot of driving to and from their shop. Good luck and ask for Doug! read more

They sold me a car in "great condition" that actually has an entire suspension that needs to be replaced and I have not been able to drive the car for a month since getting it. this is a bad dealership. They offer a Warranty, and if you need to use it, they will bait and switch on you - only good for engine or transmission. Paid top asking dollar for the car I wanted. Wound up paying 1500.00 more to a local mechanic that found a bad Alternator, Starter with melted wiring, and a bad CV axle, plus changing fouled automatic trans. fluid. I took the car back to dealership first to have them diagnose the electrical draw, vibration on acceleration. After 5 days, I was told it was ready. When we picked it up, the remote fobs, interior lighting, radio and clock were not working. I left the car with 1/2 tank of gas, it was near empty. There was a large boot mark on the white upholstery. The salesman lied to my face, saying it was the ground wire, and they did not experience the vibration. I opened the engine hood and found a 10amp fuse lying there. Replaced the fuse, and all items worked again. What kind of mechanic shop does that to a customer? a very Bad one! Buyer beware - these guys are not in the business of helping the customer - just selling what they can for top dollar. Their repair shop is a sham. Do NOT do Business with them. Even if they have the car you think you really want. You will regret doing business with them. I certainly do. I ought to have looked at the other reviews of this business first. read more

Rockland Auto is extremely hard to deal with. Bad attitudes from the owner. Unhelpful on almost every step of the process. 10 Reasons to strongly reconsider doing business with Rockland Auto 1. Scheduled to see the car ahead of time. When i arrived the car was in a separate lot and took about 30 minutes for them to bring it over 2. not negotiable on the price of car at all because these cars are in "perfect condition" 3. when getting a loan they will make you do all of the leg work - going to DCU (about 20-40 minutes away) to apply for a loan waiting in line, opening an account there , etc. During the whole process they forgot to send documents by email to me, waiting for documents made me have to wait another day to go back to DCU. Also, if you want them to go to the RMV for you you will also need to wait a few days for that to happen. 4. Over 100+ miles were accumulated on the dashboard not even 24 hours after the purchase as if someone went and did errands with it. 5. The car was not detailed when picked up, at lease beyond any serious effort, which goes against what they said they would do. 6. Flaws were mentioned about the car before purchase such as scratches on the body, multimedia interface being squirrely. and additional flaws were discovered within days of picking up the car such as a check engine light and COOLANT LEAK. 7. The car was brought to Rockland 3 times at their instruction to get these issues solved as it fell under their 30 day guarantee. during these three times the key was not left for me at least once upon pick up causing late appointments and time loss. They did not do ANY work the first two times it was brought and dropped off to them allotted for 3-4 days each time. All times it was dropped off was well in advance of 24 hours. 8. They remedied 2 items out of the total 4 problems it had and gave up and FLAT OUT refused to remedy the coolant leak at the water pump. The owner said i should bring it to another shop and use my extended warrantee that i purchased which has a deductible. What would have happened if i didn't opt in to purchase the extended warrantee? leave me in the dark? 9. When i called the extended warrantee they said I DID NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT. Rockland Auto Brokers NEVER applied for the warrantee for me as i paid Rockland Auto $2604 directly. This seemed very fishy, as if they never bought the warrantee for me , ostensibly hoping i never needed to use them so they could get paid for providing no service. Smells like a 93A case to me. 10. I am currently getting the water pump fixed... lets see if they will at least pay for the deductible. read more

I was in the market to buy a reliable used car as my vehicle was on it's last legs. Started searching on line and found a 2015 Kia Optima at Rockland Auto Brokers that caught my eye. Would give zero stars if possible. I bought a vehicle from them that I had voice concerns about certain things that needed to be addressed prior to taking delivery. I was told it would all be fixed. Picked up the vehicle and the very next day the issues started. Reached out to DOUG and was told they would take a look at it and would let me know when. Had an appointment at the dealership to take care of an open recall and while it was there they diagnosed the issues with a walk around video. When Rockland installed the new battery they either overlooked the melted battery wire or caused the issue. Also the air compressor for the suspension needed to be replaced which was causing the 2nd issue. I paid almost 600 out of pocket for the battery repair because my family drives in the vehicle and that's a fire hazard. I informed Doug about it and the diagnosis as well as sent the video and was told they would take care of the suspension because he didn't like the price the dealer or the 2ND repair shop gave to fix it. He was arrogant and very disrespectful after I told him I was not happy with the service I received, and he was not honest. Perhaps, I was not too diplomatic. He said being unhappy about the problem that was not resolved was not his problem. He does not realize a client has the right to say he/she was not satisfied. He was trying to convince me to bring my vehicle for a more thorough diagnostic so they could make more money, apparently. Although the customer service was great. I bought a 2007 Chevy Silverado from them. It worked well for a couple of months. Then I had to get 3/4ths of the engine replaced. The U joint is bad and the Transmission lines are bad. Now the front differential is starting to go out. This truck does have almost 200K miles, BUT they should have been able to find out what the condition of the engine was. My brother also bought a truck from them at the same time as me, its not as bad as mine but it did need a brand new radiator and radiator hoses, along with a new power steering tank. I am a retired member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police up in Canada. Searching on the CarGuru website I found a 2005 Toyota 4 Runner in exceptional shape at Rockland Auto Brokers. I called the owner Adriano on the phone from Canada and expressed my interest, but also told him I could not get down to Rockland for three or four days and if I sent him confirmation of my plane ticket could he put the vehicle on hold until I could at least get there to get drive it. Unusual circumstances " yes " but Adriano assured me he would hold the vehicle till I got there. I flew to Boston Thursday afternoon and went to Adriano's dealership in Rockland first thing Friday morning, he met me there at 8:00 o'clock. I examined the vehicle and it was spotless. He and I took it for a good long test drive, and upon return to his garage he gladly put it up on the hoist for me. Five minutes later, I bought it off him. I went to the bank with him to make sure there was no problem's with the Canadian Bank draft to pay for the vehicle - and all went smoothly. I found Adriano to be straight forward, honest and he never hesitated to answer any of my questions when I asked him a direct question. My whole experience with him and his support staff was fantastic. I left Rockland and drove 7 and a half hours back to Canada and the vehicle ran with out so much as a speak.....it's a great vehicle and certainly worth the trip from Canada for the savings. Came here to look at a car, upon arriving we realize the car isn't here, knocked on the door and no one was around but a few minutes later someone (I think it was a customer) pulls up and tells us they have another location, so he calls the guy and they drive the car to us (mind you they said it would be 15 - 20 mins, it took him around an hour to get there with the car) The owner seemed like a nice guy he definitely was not like a typical car sales man which I liked and we looked over the car and it needed a few things, so we offer to put a hold on it and the owner says no he will hold it for us, a week later after many attempts to call the owner says he was still saving the car for us and his shop was backed up or whatever, we were in no rush so it was whatever, a week or 2 later at this point we were completely ignored and upon checking the website it says the car was sold? Which is whatever there are many more cars out there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Adriano from Rockland Auto Brokers is the most honest, caring and incredibly kind man I have ever met. I had brought my car in for repairs at another auto center and was told it was not repairable. I had no way to get there nor any way to get to a dealer to look for a new one. I saw a vehicle I was interested in at Rockland Auto Brokers and called them. Adriano not only brought the car to me to test drive, he went with me to go and bring my other car home! I loved the car I test drove and I paid for the Escalade on the spot. It is so rare to find a car dealer that is not only pleasant but actually cares about his customers that I wouldn't consider going elsewhere.
