Over 7 employees including manager in the customer service station ignoring customers while they stand in pods laughing and cutting up. Ignore designated line only helping customers coming thru exit or sides. Reported dangerous employee driver drop off cut thru the full parking lot at excessive speed pull to the front door blocking customers and almost hitting one. Took 2 min to have employee exit backseat as he took his time closing the door taking to driver. Driver peels out almost hitting customers again and speeds off. There's no reason for an employee to be dropped one step outside the main store entrance in this manner when the parking lot is right there. Manager said nothing after this was reporter. After 30 seconds of silence shrugged and said uhhh sorry about that. Subordinate employees called him Chris his name was posted different on apron. Plump short fellow mid to late 20s (manager). I came back to ask a question and was not helped due to their lack of professionalism at their job. Was not given help or guidance on locating the item I came for or options since they did not have any items that were listed in store online but actually did not exist in store. This information was delivered calmly and politely yet the entire staff did not take a single step to be helpful in anyway. Do better - it's a job - you go there to work. Problem solving is not their strong suit. I'll start off by saying I do a TON of home projects and spend astronomical amounts of money at Home Depot. They have the market which is why I keep going back but honestly they are the biggest wastes of space I've ever dealt with. I purchased a ryobi leaf blower and 5 bags of crushed stone online. The only option was to have it delivered- fine because I'm working all day. Home Depot called me 3 hours later to tell me the leaf blower isn't in stock and my ONLY option is to come into the store, present my ID, get a gift card for the amount I had on the previous gift card in which I used to pay for my items. I asked her to email me the gift card back and she said no. I asked her to ring up a different leaf blower and pay for it on the gift card and she said "that's not how it works" and proceeded to tell me I should have known better since it says "limited stock" online. Again my only option is to go into the store, present my ID, and get a new gift card and repurchase everything. Yikes dude. Called today and found out that first order was cancelled I guess when I ordered it but second time went through but generated two different order numbers starting with same letter. I got super bummed and ended up issuing a refund for it and leaving a bad revue. Upon receiving a text just now saying my order was ready, I was confused and called in. Turns out the second order went through and it actually arrived, which is great! Word to the wise, look up your order by your name not your order number. This location cost me a lot of time and money. I reserved a pole saw 24 hours in advance for a tree trim job. When I went to pick it up all 3 pole saws were in the back because they were "dirty". So I was unable to rent the tool. No one called me. No one notified me. I stood in a long line waiting for my turn. Then they just cancelled my order and told me they were all dirty. It's not my fault that the rental crew didn't clean the tools. I even offered to clean it and buy a new chain for it. They declined this as well. Thanks to Home Depot I lost a job. Went online and located the power washer I wanted ($100), placed the order at 9pm at night and early the next morning I was picking it up by the service area, all ready to flex my DIY strength (even though my arms hurt like hell the next day). Yes, I am giving this Home Depot five stars. I needed to replace an AC window unit and I was looking for a very specific model. My wife did some homework and looked online for me, and promptly informed me that the model we needed was at this particular location. So off I went across town to this location. When I entered the store I was immediately greeted by a gentleman, and asked me if I needed some help. I asked him where the AC window units were, and he promptly gave me the aisle number. I find what I am looking for, but realize that it is too big, and too heavy for me to handle by myself. I saw a Home Depot employee, and I asked her if she could get me some help. She immediately recruited another gentleman to help me get it on my cart, I paid for my purchase, and another employee helped me in loading it into my car. This was Customer Service all the way. If you want to set yourself apart from your competition, customer service is where it's at. This location is quite a bit out of my way, so while it is highly unlikely that I will visit this location again, it is nice to know that I had a great experience here. read more

4 Stars for a great Home Depot where prices are a bit high occasionally over what you'd find online, but if you get to talk to a staff member you will get tons of know-how. This location has tons of parking and is quite large. They carry the typical hardware, garden goods, appliances, etc you'd expect to find at a Home Depot. The staff is very friendly, but like any Home Depot, it can be a reeeeeal challenge to find an available staff member (sometimes it pays to stalk one who's already helping another customer). I have friends who will go to this location over the Colonial location, but I don't see a difference worth the extra time. Either works for me, and I would recommend this location if you're nearby. read more

Prices are mostly fair, but most items can be bought cheaper online. They also have several "Home Depot only" items which are generally not as well made as their generic counterpart. Bought new dishwasher, they get here and said "they can't install it because it's not 1 cabinet wall, it goes behind cabinet and I can't see it, against our policy", so I said all you're doing is disconnecting one dishwasher and reconnecting another one, you aren't running any new plumbing. I PAID for you to take it away, you have to do that when you take away, now you want me to do it!? Clearly this guy just didn't feel like working today, it was nothing special or difficult. Not a great experience. I'm used to the employees being almost obnoxious with how often someone would come up to you asking if you needed help but not here. No one came to my husband and I to see if we needed help and for the first time we actually did need some help. He asked for someone to help and we waited for 10-15 minutes and no one showed up. I had to walk around the store to find someone that looked approachable and asked for help. All the employees stood around talking to each other instead of the customers. Some of the employees were helpful but only about 3 out of the whole place. read more

This visit was straight forward, I needed to rent a van to transport some unnecessary things at home to storage. The van is was a $50 deposit, but $20 if you bring it back in 75 minutes. After getting everything done, I had it back in 80 minutes, so I had to pay the extra $5, and got back $25 my deposit. Not a bad deal, customer service was good, so no complaints. read more

We had to wait a bit in the paint department because no one was there but once I saw a worker, they got someone for us right away. The lady was so sweet and really funny. Allow me to first say I love Home Depot! I go there for my "fix" all the time. There's something about the smell of a hardware store that gets me going. Maybe it's the mix of fertilizer, lumber, and pesticides. When you find an employee, for the most part, they are helpful especially the older gents who seem to know everything and show it. Then there are other ones who sadly seem to think they are doing you a favor helping you. They make no eye contact, and instead of asking if you need help, they walk by you like you were not there as if to say, don't bother me I'm too busy to stop to help. That's crazy. Note to management: Test your employee's people skills and if they fail, keep them in the stock room where they can ignore the inventory not customers. This Home Depot is organized and has a lot of inventory in stock. I went to Home Depot today to look for a dryer and there were many options but none that wowed me. The employees were friendly and approachable. I am also looking to renovate my kitchen flooring and the flooring options were great. Once I take the measurements I will be back to purchase some laminate flooring I really loved. They had free samples of the floor panel so that was very helpful for me to bring home to see which I felt fit my home best. I really enjoyed the garden center. I got a flower basket hanger that was on sale for only $5!! I also got some herbs for my garden all well priced and healthy. I was very impressed with how clean and well maintained the restrooms were as well. Great store! read more

There are plenty of Home Depot's around the Orlando area but this is the location I choose when possible. Other nearby locations on Colonial and at Millennia are fine but I prefer the service at the Lee Road location. Friendly and staff here and usually stocked shelves. Staff here are helpful with questions or navigation of the store. In most departments it has been easy for me to locate a knowledgeable person when needed who can offer a suggestion for my project or call someone else over. When I come here without my husband I find that it is more likely for me to get asked "do you need help?" "What are you looking for?" down every aisle I turn which I find a little bit annoying. When we are there together, it seems to be harder to find help! Sometimes it becomes a game to see how many male staff ask if I need help. Last time I was asked by 5! One male employee even asked me twice in the span of 5 minutes when I was still in the same aisle contemplating a product. Not complaining, just laughing. I appreciate their enthusiasm. read more

If you purchase on one credit card and that credit card number is changed because your bank merged with another , SunTrust, you are out of luck. Even if you have the old credit card and your new card , and try to return something , the TRS system (?) flags you and no returns . So I left all that I was trying to return , no more than $25. , on the return register and told the Asst Manager that he could keep all I was trying to return, because I guess , you think I stole this from you and left the Store .
