Went with 2 girls for a birthday lunch. Of course we needed the "special " green beans. Have been…read morethere before and always enjoyed the food, this time I neglected to have the wedge blue cheese salad they each had. Big mistake on my part. It was picture perfect and I am still missing it. Our server was attentive and kind, the food as always delicious. Overall a huge success, Thank you Darby's. I will be back. wish you would change the front steps, I'm handicapped.

Met a friend here. Her suggestion to come here for dinner. This was hard to score. A lot of good…read morebut a few bad. It was crowded on a Tuesday. They have a taco Tuesday thing but it's not a discount it's 3 tacos and you can mix and match from what they make. Which is not really a special in my opinion. The place has a nice patio and inside can fit an about 10 tables of various sizes. And the bar has seating. Cute place. I see it can get crowded on a Friday night or Saturday night. We got the green bean app for the table. They are cooked perfectly with teriyaki glaze and some tempura but not a lot. They have a sauce that has a bit of a kick but not bad. These are good and good to share. Good portion. I ordered the steak and gruyere sandwich and chips. Sandwich was good. Not big but very flavorful and good. Would have liked a bigger banquette for the sandwich. Ok amount of meat. It was good. The chip side was very crunch and good amount. But to me the chips were a bit greasy tasting. Needed more salt and a bit of flavor. It was a ok meal. The friend that suggested the restaurant got the Ohio burger. It was huge. She cut it into 4's and only ate half. It was big! She also got the chips. Again chips were ok just a bit oily tasting and need salt. The dining area is loud. Lots of people in close proximity talking. It's hard to hear and sound is bouncing. That was a bit of a bummer to try and talk over all the noise. Server was good very attentive and helped with suggestions. Bill for 3 sandwiches, including a burger, a water, coke and cider with green beans appetizer was $81. Not including tip.

Love the wood floors and high ceilings. The panels really helped keep noise down when it became full.

Very good, maybe a tad dry. A good Aioli was needed. A couple of beers and that was that. Good service. I will return for a slower paced night out.

I've never been here before but I know it's a fairly popular place so I was quick to agree to the location. We originally sat at the bar but the stools were so incredibly uncomfortable, so we moved to a booth. While our server was nice, it did take her quite a while to come take our drink order. I got a "lavendar breeze" for my first drink and it was delicious. The menu is small, with the focus being on grilled cheese sandwiches. I'm not a huge grilled cheese lover, so I ordered a wedge salad (with house white French dressing) and the sauerkraut balls from the appetizer menu. The salad was on par with what you'd expect, the dressing was tasty. The sauerkraut balls, though, kind of threw me. First, it's a HUGE serving. There was around 30-40 sauerkraut balls in the basket; way more than I ever imagined would be in an order. I was expecting four or five golf ball sized balls. Maybe I've been spoiled by having some fantastic sauerkraut balls, but these were subpar, at best. They didn't have a lot of flavor and the cocktail sauce they served with them was an odd choice. While I still enjoyed time catching up with a friend and the drinks were well done, I doubt I'll come back for food. The menu just wasn't appealing to me and what I did have wasnt good enough to lure me back anytime soon.

I can honestly say The Blue Door has earned a place among the very best meals I've ever had. What amazed me most wasn't just that every dish was delicious--it was that every single plate had its own identity. Nothing tasted repetitive or safe. Each course was thoughtfully composed with bold flavors, beautiful presentation, and combinations I never would have imagined working together... yet they absolutely did. Beyond the food, every plate looked like a work of art. You could tell the kitchen artists take immense pride in presentation without sacrificing flavor. The service was warm, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. We never felt rushed, and every recommendation was spot on. If someone asked me where to experience one of the best dining experiences in Ohio, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I'd tell them to drive to The Blue Door in Cuyahoga Falls. This wasn't just dinner. It was an experience.

The chicken and sauce part of the chicken and waffles were amazing the corn beef hash dish was great. The waffles lacked real flavor and tasted odd. The coffee was great. Service was awesome but slow (took us 40 minutes to get our food). The restaurant is really cute looking and the pastry's look amazing but we only had the croissant which was great. The food was pretty expensive. We spent 70 bucks as a party of two. They definitely had large portions which is nice for the price however after moving here from Columbus, we've just had better for less for brunch/breakfast so that's why I needed to knock off a star. Still a good place but now where that we'd go to regularly because of the wait times and the price not making it feasible.
