The accommodations were clean, amazing large rooms and comfy beds! Our a/c was fantastic and did a great job keeping the room cold, even in the heat of the day. The park offers so many fun activities that the kids never get bored! We always stay an extra day so that we can spend quality time with the kids and try to do as many of the activities as possible. This year they had two new attractions - the snowless snowboarding and I can't remember the name of the other one, but they were awesome! They also have employees who specialize in helping organize large groups with their accommodations. We have had the same person helping our family for going on 5 years now. Her name is Darla and she is our "hero" when it comes to Jellystone! Honestly, she is the reason we always vote to come back year after year. At the previous place that we held our reunion for over 15 years, they sold and we became just a number to them. Darla has treated us as family from day one. Always so thorough and pays such close attention to details. Jellystone sure has a secret gem with her! We will be back in 2027 for another memory making weekend! Thanks Jellystone!

Absolutely -- and honestly, naming the manager makes the review feel more accountable without…read moresounding messy. Here's the revised version: We recently stayed at North Texas Jellystone for two nights to celebrate mine and my 9-year-old's birthdays. The room itself was nice and clean, but since it was a warm Thursday, the AC struggled to cool the room as much as we would have liked. In the middle of summer, I would definitely recommend bringing a fan just in case. Unfortunately, our planned waterpark day was rained out, and the waterpark was closed the next day. Since this trip was a big deal for our family and something we had saved up for, we decided to rent a golf cart on Friday so the kids would still have something fun to do instead of being stuck in the room all day. When we picked up the golf cart, it already looked rough and had visible damage. My husband even joked about it with the employee who gave us the keys, and the employee acknowledged that the damage had already been documented. On Saturday, we returned the golf cart before noon and went to the park to try to enjoy our last day. About an hour later, I received a call from Andrea, the manager, saying the golf cart had been returned damaged and asking me to call her back. I tried calling her back multiple times, but it went straight to voicemail. Before I was ever able to speak with her, Jellystone charged me $750. At that point, we had to pack up our kids and leave the park early to get it handled, which completely cut our birthday celebration short. Thankfully, the employee who had checked the golf cart out to us vouched for us, and Andrea said the charge would be refunded. However, she did not offer an apology or anything to make the situation right, even though we had been charged a large amount of money without anyone speaking to us first. We were really disappointed with how the situation was handled, especially by management. For a family like ours, this trip was not cheap and was something we saved for, so having $750 charged without warning was extremely stressful. My biggest advice to anyone staying here is to take pictures of everything: your room, your golf cart, and anything you rent or use. Unfortunately, based on our experience, you may be charged for damage you did not cause if you do not have proof.

After the gate is closed if you need to be let out, you have to call the police. But there's so much to do here! Not just the swimming area! There's a hiking trail, playground and walking trails. Beautiful views and plenty of space to social distance yourself. The trails are available for no fee as far as I could tell, but the swimming area near WhoaZone is $5. They do not take cash, only debit/credit card. The swimming area has a playground and picnic areas. I think there's a spot to cast your kayaks off over there too, but I stayed near the beach and didn't explore anything else. I saw vehicles with kayaks going over on the other side. If you have water shoes, I'd say bring them and a beach umbrella as there's no shade. The sand isn't too uncomfortable to lie in, there's just cigarette butts here and there. But I definitely recommend visiting for the day or even camping if you're into it!

Someone recommended this to me as a "sandy beach". It is a beach, and there is some sand, but the…read moreshore is probably a 50/50 mix of packed dirt and sharp pebbles. OUCH! The rock bottom extends out a couple of yards into the water, where it turns to clay. For swimmers, the rockiness is less of an issue - get past the rocks and swim/float your heart out, but the rocks along the shore make it significantly less enjoyable for babies. Running along the shore and splashing in the shallow water is painful without water shoes. For a true SANDY BEACH, check out Twin Points Park at Eagle Mountain Lake or Little Elm on Lake Lewisville instead. Twin Points is nicer, if you're deciding between the two. Pros: it's a pretty spot, with nice views. Plenty of parking - $5 per car. CREDIT/DEBIT ONLY. There is a dock for jumping off (which we didn't notice until we were leaving, sadly!). Not very crowded on a Saturday in August. Pretty clean, other than the bathrooms. Alcohol permitted (or if not permitted, certainly not regulated). Days swimming at the lake are SO MUCH FUN! Aside from the rocky shore, the only big negative was how gross the bathrooms were. We were there pretty early, so clearly they aren't cleaned daily. Also, the whoa zone is SO EXPENSIVE!!!! It looks fun but I cannot wrap my head around the fact that people pay that much to be there. It's $22 a person for ONE HOUR! Mon-Thurs they also offer a $50 all day pass. For our family of 7, I consider that cost prohibitive. Overall, it was a fun day at the lake, but Meadowmere Park is just not the best DFW has to offer.

I finally called them on 9/21 and was met with an extremely rude "representative," who answered the phone as if it was his cell phone, and made it clear that he would not be helping me (did not look up the order, had no interest in looking up the order, just kept referencing their website and to contact them over email... which I did... to no avail) and that he would not be processing a refund and to follow their website for refund policy information but, AND I QUOTE, "to be honest they probably won't accept your refund." What? I did not receive any product. My order still shows processing. No emails were responded to. I would avoid this "company" at all costs if you're looking to purchase H202. I wanted to support a small business in my purchase. That failed.
