    Banana pudding
    Ray M.

Outstanding pudding with a thick and creamy full-bodied flavor. So I found this place while I was at the Friday night Clovis Farmers Market. The location I checked in at, is Chuck's barbecue where they sell their pudding. I got into a long conversation with the business owner Roxanne, she is absolutely delightful and encouraged me to try her product. She said that if I didn't like it I can come back and ask for a money back, of course that intrigued me, so I bought the banana pudding. This was probably the most memorable banana pudding I've ever had in my life. I've had a lot of banana pudding's where people use a fake, artificial banana flavor or make that nasty box banana pudding. This was not that at all. This pudding was delicious. It had a wonderful vanilla flavor, with chunks of fresh banana. The pudding was also thicker than I'm used to. I don't know how she did it, but it was both rich, creamy, and an full of flavor. It almost reminded me of a mousse or custard consistency. And of course, who doesn't like the Nilla wafers on top. Roxanne told me she had other flavors, all of which I would like to try in the future. But really, you need to try the banana one first. It's just outstanding and will make you reconsider what a banana pudding should taste like.

The reviews could have not prepared me for how fantastic their banana pudding really is! It's perfect in every way possible. Will definitely be returning! They are open Friday and Saturday 7-9 and located next door to Chucks BBQ. It says delivery only but you can call and place an order for pick up. Amazing quality!

I had been hearing about this banana pudding forever from my friend and today I had the privilege of having some. Heaven on a fork! It was a smooth texture, not too sweet and it melted in my mouth. Had my tastebuds watering from the the tinge of cinnamon. Run don't walk to get you some of in the Fresno Area!

Last night, Rocky Docky's banana pudding was hands down the best vegan banana pudding I've ever had.

It has got to the point of us waiting for the next month's flavors. This review is long overdue, but Nummy Yummy deserves high praise and recognition for is deliverance to excellent and tasty dessert for the Fresno community. We went here again just a few days ago and it still hits the spot. The menu typically rotates ice cream flavor every month. Not only ice cream, but they also have warm taiyaki! This place reminds me of SomiSomi chain, but to be honest, I think Nummy Yummy is better. All of the staff here are super nice, patient, and always willing to answer your questions. I've come here a lot and have yet to come across a grumpy staff member (haha). The location is in the corner of the RN Market plaza. There is plenty of parking, but I wish they hadn't taken away the indoor seating. There is nowhere to dine in and sit other than the dirty bench outside. I see the majority of people just eating in their car. I hope they decide to offer more flavors and toppings. The various Asian flavors are a hit, and a suggestion box from the public could be an idea. Also, not sure if the eye is playing tricks, but seems like their new cups provide a smaller portion than the old cups. Hopefully that is not the case.

So I looked for a local dessert place (by picture from other Yelpers) and I was in the mood for ice cream or fro-yo. I didn't realize that this place is very similar to the Somi Somi franchise; but still gave it a shot. Inside is very small and plain = NO SITTING so it is literally take-out. Ordering is simple and the cashier was friendly. I wished the fro-yo portions matched what customers received in the past, and there was no option to order small, medium or large. The flavors: pistachio not overly sweet was perfect for my wife. I ordered the half chocolate half brown sugar and only could taste chocolate so I was disappointed . Also their "fish" cone had a salty aftertaste. Overall, it's not an experience I would even give a 2nd try.

I used to think this place was expensive, but after trying it, I changed my mind. One cream puff is huge! (about the size of 3 average size cream puffs combined) And it is generously filled with the delicious cream. Trust me, as someone who used to be a skeptic, it's totally worth it! Amongst all the cream puffs, my favorites were the honey butter with vanilla filling, the green tea with green tea filling, and the apricot custard cheesebake. The other flavors were okay, they just didn't stand out to me as much and the shells were soft, which I know is probably how Beard Papa's is supposed to make them but I personally would've liked just a little crisp on the outside and maybe a little more buttery flavor but thats just me tho. The fillings weren't too sweet, which I like but I think they could've used just a tiny bit more sweetness because they were kinda borderline bland. As for pricing, I know doordash marks everything up, so I'm not judging them based on the prices I paid through doordash. Looking at Beard Papa's regular prices on yelp, I still think they're a little higher than what I would've expected for cream puffs, but not by a lot or anything. Overall though, I thought they were pretty good, and I'd probably go back, just probably not for every craving.

Panaderia Cafe Oaxaca is the real thing. the pastries are made fresh and you can tell immediately. the conchas were soft with just the right amount of sweetness, the kind that makes the grocery store version feel embarrassing by comparison. everything in the case looked beautiful and I had a genuinely hard time choosing. they also do vegan options which I wasn't expecting from a traditional panaderia and my friend who doesn't eat dairy was really happy about that. nice to find a spot that doesn't make it feel like an afterthought. the cafe side means you can grab coffee and actually sit and enjoy your stuff which I love. opens at 7am so its a real morning spot, closes at 3pm so plan accordingly. its on Villa Ave in Clovis which is easy to get to and the price is so reasonable. like embarrassingly affordable for how good everything is. this is the kind of neighborhood spot that deserves way more attention than it probably gets. tell your friends, bring your family, buy too much pan dulce. no regrets.
