What is not to love here. Staff was helpful and sweet. Price is very good. She even offered a piece of the bread. I found their items are not too sweet. I purchased their cinnamon buns; two without and one was with frosting. Not sweet or overwhelming. I will definitely return and try other items. The store was very cute, by the way. Parking lot had plenty of spaces. Location: Southwest corner of Ashlan and Fresno (right off of the freeway).

Stopped by on a whim and I am so glad I did. The baker was sooooo so nice ! The pastries ELITE! The honeycomb cake was not dry and filled with a cream cheese and it wasn't skimpy. I chose the single slice and also got a round tray of this cake for just $15 which fed over 6 people. There were plenty of baklavas to choose from amongst other delicious goodies. He threw in a free coffee for me and BOY was it strong! Let's just say my whole close was cleaned that day. Such a great experience and will definitely be back.

First time visit and it was amazing. I was welcomed right away and the woman was super nice and helpful. She let me try a piece of honeycomb before purchasing and wow I mean wow. I don't think I've had something that soft and yet not so sweet at the same time. The baklava was equally as amazing but my favorite is gunna have to be the honeycomb.

AMAZING! My favorite was the triangle baklava which had a sweet cream filling. The finger baklavas were more traditional fillings (nuts) still very very good! I decided to come here on the whim since it was super close by my workplace and I am SO glad I did. This place is so good that I lowkey wanted to gatekeep! Hahah Baklava is sweet, a bit messy to eat especially when made fresh fresh, the syrup will cause a mess lol. But it's super flaky and crisp. I literally cannot explain how good this was. I had bought some for my coworkers and they all enjoyed it and keep requesting that I get more! Owner is super nice and friendly. I said it was my first time here and he was super duper helpful! He had literally went through each bakery item one by one and explained what they were, how it tasted like, and the pricing. Super friendly and kind.

One of my favorite places. Their baked goods are delicious. Super friendly customer service and a quiet, clean space. Definitely worth a visit, you'll be back for more!

My friend and I visited a few weeks ago and were not only WOWED by the customer service but delighted by the tasty food options! The owner was incredibly friendly and offered us a sample of everything we were considering, including a sample of their DELICIOUS house made chai (they offer espresso shot option for their chai). Everything we sampled (baklava, honeycomb and sabaya with beef) was executed well. Because I was wanting something more hearty, I went with the Sabaya with beef and ordered an extra for my family. I also purchased a large jar of spun honey (perfect for spreading on bread) and a jar of a yummy, spicy spread. Everything was reasonably priced (especially the honey!!) There is limited indoor seating.

    Dessert galore.

Amazing food and hospitality. The moment we walked in we were greeted and asked if we would like to sample some things. We had the different samples of cheese breads both sweet and savory. We had a few of the flat breads with meat fillings and cheese. We had the teas that were made daily. There was no pressure to purchase and was just a joy to walk into a new place and get a chance to try new things. We of course purchased some baklava, flat breads both sweet and savory. There wasn't anything there we didn't like. We came home loaded with carbs that was worth it. We will be back and we will recommend.

This is a tiny bakery but their food packs a big punch. The owner is so kind and welcoming. Offering to let me try pieces of a few items. I settled on a honeycomb, a beef pastry and some date cookies. I'd have to say this was the softest honeycomb I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly and a little sweeter than others I had tried. I heated up the beef pastry when I got home. It was so delicious I wanted more. I don't know what spices they use with their beef mixture but I really enjoyed it. Out of the 2 date cookies I preferred the white one. It was a little sweeter than the other. The brown one tasted more like a cracker texture with dates inside. I did notice they also sell honey and bottled drinks too.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have 500+ reviews under my belt from ALL over and not very many places deserve 5+ stars! First of all, I was greeted by a very nice lady the second I walked in. I only went in for baklava but the honeycomb caught my eye and I was curious what kind of cheese the filling was, she insisted on giving me a sample of both the sweet and jalapeño one. Omg that jalapeño one was beyond delicious! She also gave me a small bite of the coconut cake since it was my first time visiting. First but definitely not last. Small businesses take note! I am not from the area (live in OC) but my work has me in Fresno once a month, guess where I am stopping once a month now? How could I not, gracious and friendly. You need to try this place! See you soon!

Wow is all I can say. Found on yelp as we are visiting for a wedding. Wasn't sure what to expect but right away we were greeted with a warm welcome and sooo many samples! The baklava fingers are literally the best things ever. Coconut cake, the cinnamon rolls - oh can't forget the savory pastries. Just amazing. Not sure what it's all called but it sure tasted great and awesome customer service only added to the experience.

Where has this place been all my life? I could slap myself for never trying this place before. I have passed by it dozens of times and on a whimsical outing with my mini me we stopped here for a treat before our movie. I gasped when I walked in and saw all the beautiful assortments. It was both our first time's so the owner was kind enough to let us sample a few things, one of which was the honeycomb. My daughter and I looked at each other and our eyes both shot wide open. Wowzers!! Just flippin' wow. We also tried the baklava and I thought I wasn't going to like it since I'm not really a fan of baklava, but this one was delicious. The honeycomb was like nothing I've ever had before. It was sweet and savory. It was plush and delicate to taste but explosive with different notes of flavorful spices. The beef pie was pretty good, but I bet it would be awesome if warmed or toasted. This place is small but it sure is mighty. I'm glad I finally stepped my foot in here but I could also shoot my foot for not stepping in until now.

Excellent service and even better food! We were greeted once we came in. He saw me taking pictures and asked me if it was my first time here. I said yes and then he offered me some free samples! Super nice, very courteous.. I tried the jalapeño honeycomb bread which had like a cream cheese in it with very little pieces of jalapeño. It was tasty! I grabbed that. I really came for that bread thing with the egg in the middle that has the beef in it that looks like a boat, but they ran out. So I ended up with the chicken version instead. I grabbed another pastry that had their beef in it cus I wanted to try the beef. And we also got a sample of their sweet honeycomb bread which my son liked cus it also had the cream cheese in it but there was a Oreo topping on top. We ended up grabbing the pistachio version. And it did not disappoint! When we got home we tried the chicken egg one and I thought it was just ok.... I think I would've liked the beef one better. The chicken one wasn't as flavorful to me and the egg isn't runny.. it just looks like it, but it's actually a little solid for anyone that thinks the egg is runny. We did try a beef pastry but it wasn't the egg one. The beef one tasted better to me. More seasoned. I think it's best to get it when they first open cus they run out of the beef one fast (the one with the egg in it). I wanna come back to try that one!! And the spicy honeycomb bread is lowkey addicting!

Service is always a 10/10 but today I was hoping for a miracle. I didn't know if they would be open but we pulled up and by the grace of god someone was in there. Not only did they let us in, but they also included a FREE honeycomb sample!! Which was also very delicious. I recommend this place to anyone for not only their amazing treats but the wonderful service as well.

And so, the rice was so delicious, lamb so succulent that it almost melted in my mouth. The server was so kind and sweet, even with a jam packed midday lunch crowd. Everyone there seemed like they were being treated like family and like they eat there all the time. Aside from the above, which would easily be enough for a positive review here, there's even more. As I rushed out of the restaurant, I left my credit card. In my haste to be the 3-hour traffic back up to the Bay Area, I completely forgot until I got halfway back home, stopped for gas, and realized I couldn't pay for my gas with my card. I called them and luckily the same gal who was my server picked up and remembered me, confirmed she had my CC and told me to come back and get it. I told her I was back up in Oakland and asked a HUUUUUUGE Favor of them, to mail my CC back to me to save me the 6 hour round trip drive and ALL the headache I'd incur of getting a new card and having to redo all of the auto-pay set for countless bills with a new card number. Guess what? They did it! They took time from their busy lives, put a customer's needs first and saw past my human error and so generously sent my card to my home. Places like this family owned, down home place restore my faith in humanity and make me wish more places like this existed all over. "Thank you" doesn't even do justice for my gratitude to these folks. Can't wait to sit and dine with you all again. Huge thanks Phoenician Garden Folks

The server was very kind and built a good rapport with our table. We ordered and it took quite long to get our food. We sat down around 5:40 and ordered shortly after, received the app at 6:07 and received our food at 6:40. The food was delicious and have no complaints there. The falafel was flavorful and the chicken shawarma was moist and delicious. One issue we had though, My friend saw a wax pepper on one of the plates and asked if she can have another one. The food runner came back and brought a side dish of peppers and a side dish of pickled beets. Our server then comes out and asks whose tab he should put that on. We were a little confused because they didn't mention it would he a charge and she only asked for 1 extra not an entire bowl + a bowl of something she didn't ask for. But she took the charge and it was about $5 combined for both, a charge that wasn't prefaced beforehand. Nonetheless, the food was amazing and our server was very sweet. The restaurant was packed so it's nice to see they are busy for a local business!

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.

Came on in during lunchtime on a Monday in a group of four. We started off ordering grilled pita bread, and the delicious freshly brewed iced tea. Our server, Alexis was so incredibly attentive and sweet, anticipating our needs and checking in with us. It was no problem at all to customize orders, and provide sauces, dressings, etc. Ordered at the table: super crisp, fresh green salad with lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, and a beet, a generous sized lavash roll with pilaf- (seriously, you could split it), a cold plate customized to include extra eggplant, hummus, and yalanchi, and lots of rice pilaf. We were all super satisfied. Knowing how much the tea was being enjoyed, right prior to bringing over the bill, there was thoughtful Alexis with super big to-go cups filled with fresh tea for us, wow! She knew how hot it was outside, and totally anticipated our needs. The restaurant is self-seating, with tables and chairs inside & in the breezeway of the Galleria Center. Also, seating at the counter is available. Fyi- if the restroom is needed, there is a code you can get upon request to use the ones in the Galleria (a shared space for multiple eateries). Service is prompt, food fresh & flavorful, and cost is on-par with similar Mediterranean Restaurants. Tips: go for the grilled bread, with the garlic sauce and get a side of parsley and onions. Kinda my own creation- but super scrumptious and light, flavorful way to start off your meal. At the end, to-go containers for food are given upon request, and you pay at the counter. I would definitely return! There are so many more options to enjoy on the menu, and it's just overall, food happiness! Well done!
