Definitely a nice option for an after lunch treat as RMCF has options to satisfy any sweet tooth. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate and even sugar free options are available and seasonal sweet treats are packaged nicely for gift giving. RMCF has gummies, chocolate and/or caramel covered apples and even doggie approved snacks! Nothing beats their caramel apples here! I never have to wait for a certain season to get them since they have them all year LONG! I highly suggest you ask them to cut your apple up for you, it's near impossible to do it yourself if you're sticking it in the fridge to eat later. I love the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory . I'm always greeted as soon as I get through the door. The shop has yummy tasing chocolate covered apples, as well as a full chocolate display case. It is a tiny shop compared to the Castle rock location. Their apples are always fresh and I haven't met a chocolate truffle that I didn't like yet. I really enjoy their chocolate covered orange peels. The price can be a little expensive so I haven't been coming here as often as I did in the past. 3 stars because the sweets are good but the experience I had today with the manager who was by herself I understand but I've never seen this place busy because it is a bit pricey $9 for a caramel apple isn't necessarily cheap but it's the only place I've seen a cheesecake caramel apple and they have an assortment of candy.. anyway I love caramel popcorn and I've seen it but was hesitant because everyone doesn't make it the same so I get a bag prior to this visit pay $9 plus tax came to like $10 something as someone who's been in customer service for years and upper management she didn't handle herself or the situation very well first there's no signage for pricing and second I've never seen a different size bag always the same size bag I just got first she tells me something she wasn't there to see she automatically assumed I got the smallest bag I said no I got this exact same bag and I was wondering why I being charged $32 something for something she claims is a 1/2 lb of popcorn when I continue to say I just paid $10 for this same bag she came with another excuse because she never asked me when she continued to say that they changed the price and have new pricing and I said no I just made this purchase the day before yesterday at this point I am getting frustrated because your not going to tell what I did or didn't buy when you wasn't here or checked me out that was wild lol and it was the same bag and even more wild to tell me it's a half a pound with a scale right next to you in arm's reach and where I feel she was trying to make me feel bad for their mistake because after the 3rd time saying the same thing she accused and put it on the employee who was working that day saying that they didn't know what they were doing then that's a reflection of the managers training I've honored pricing for expired sales price or old price tags from inventory not correcting them it would be corrected after that but honored at the moment cuz it looks like small bag when I already said just gimme one bag and then gets upset because she keep asking me because she's saying she didn't understand and I said exactly this! read more

What a very cute and organized chocolate shop! The manager, Phyllis (I hope I spelled it right) was so nice and friendly. The variety of chocolates were plentiful and the apples looked heavenly. I literally could have eaten everything in that shop. Oh, I'll be back on "cheat" day! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I just started Keto soooooo my son got all the goodies this trip. Sorry for the reflection in the glass on my pics but hopefully this will give you guys a bird's eye view of what they have in store. Love the caramel apples. Don't love the "owner"lecturing me every time I buy 10 for gifts, clients, etc. " We don't like to sell that many without you calling us to place the order first." Great place to go for a yummy treat. It's nice when you open the door and the people that are employed there are actually happy to be there. Chitchat with you and have a good day. Thank you so much for always having a smile on your face. What's unique is.....Yes they have a punchcard for the apples LOL they are amazing. The prices range from a little over $4 to a little over $11. The one I like is "death by chocolate". I believe it is around $8. But completely worth it!!! I also have a large assortment of sugar-free and singleserve chocolates. The ones that look really good are the three marshmallows that are dipped in chocolate on a stick. My young daughter likes the hard candy as well that they have. There's also sugar-free so go wild. I believe it's $23 a pound for the single chocolates. Came here for the first time with my mom to try some treats ! They have beautiful delicious looking caramel apples I have not yet tried but heard good things about, although pricey. They have tons of fruit and marshmallows and fruit treats. They have barks and nut clusters as well as caramels and sugar free. Dog treats and gift. Milk and dark chocolate ! The chocolates are fine and it is a nice establishment. Most of the employees that were working when my friends and I came in were also quite nice. Although, they nearly lost our business when one women repetitively tried to rush us along (although there was nobody waiting behind us) and got snarky when I asked exactly what the difference between regular chocolate and white chocolate is. Maybe it was a bad day, but my friends and I did about $50 worth of business and we'll be sure to just walk out next time. read more

I went here to use the Groupon I got not too long ago. The chocolate is top-notch. Most of the chocolates, however, are made in the main branch and shipped to the other shops. The only things made on-site are those dipped apples (yum) and other dipped fruits (try the banana), as well as the various barks. Try the tiger peanut butter bark--it's incredibly delicious! I visited the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Southlands Mall today with my grandchildren as I frequently do. The service and hospitality have always been good, usually an employee with a good attitude running the place. Today I went there and my granddaughter burned her finger on the chain around the bear in this picture. I thought I would see how hot it was and touched it and burned my finger as well. Needless to say the chain was extremely hot! I thought I should tell someone about it as I did not want any child to hug the bear and burn their face. The owner, Tabitha, preceded to rudely tell me that the bear was for picture taking and not touching. I told her that this was a liability risk for her business. With the attitude exhibited by this owner I don't believe they will be in business at Southlands for long. I know as for me and my family, we will not return because of this owner's lack of respect for customers' concerns and safety of the general public.
