Came here during the week, right after the local school got out but there was ample street parking. Entered the store and was immediately greeted with a welcome and a smile. Ordered a couple apples and asked if I wanted either sliced, which I didn't. There were other things I could've bought but decided to be good and just get the apples. She was very sweet, friendly, and even gave me suggestions on how to get the most for my money. My son's school chose Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a school fundraiser. His teacher emailed me and said that they were available for pick up and I got confused so I ended up going to the Factory. When I walked in there two people behind the counter and man and a woman. They didn't welcome me in or ask how they could help me. I politely asked if I was supposed to pick up the apples there. And the woman behind the counter offered no help and told me "they didn't send emails" and they don't have my apples. Terrible product the chocolate was old and had a chemical taste to it they also put hand sanitizer wipes in the same bag as the chocolate. They had the peanut brittle in the display case and when we asked for some he pulled out peanut brittle from a drawer that was half the size and looked nothing like what was in the display case. Stopped by a couple days ago to purchase a candied apple, chocolate stocking stuffers and a box of assorted chocolates. It was a brand new box, sealed. When I opened it, it smelled and looked like the candy was stale. The chocolate had this white film on it which I believe typically happens when its old and stale. I tried to overlook it until I bit into one and it was rancid. The Almond Caramel apple would've been delicious. The apple was nice and crispy and the caramel and nuts looked delectable. But when i cut into it, the stick had mold. I had to toss it. I'm not sure where the quality has gone but its definitely not good anymore. Hoping they can turn it around. Family goes here a lot, especially during the beginning of the Holiday Season. They always have great desserts but the number one thing they are known for, at least in this house, are for their apples!!! They have so many ways they do their apples and cover them in what ever you like. Their customer service is impeccable!! Today my parents went there to get my daughter a caramel covered apple and they didn't have anymore but the lady made one for her right on the spot!! Brought it home, daughter got out our apple slicer and oh my!! At first she had a hard time slicing it but once sliced I dove in to get a piece. I came in here to buy caramel apples as party giveaways for my daughter's snow white theme party. I was expecting to just pick one out from the choices they have on display. Then one of the ladies told me they could customize the apple for me. They said they could make it red and put candy glitters (I think that's what it's called) around to make it look like the poison apple. Of course I had to say yes! When I picked them up the next day I was so happy with the result. They wrapped the apples individually with a red bow. The apple itself is a granny apple dipped in caramel, red white chocolate, and red glitters. It was more than what I expected. And you would not believe how delicious it is! I don't really like caramel apples but this one I could eat two! The apple has the perfect sourness that blends well with the caramel and chocolate. You'd expect something that's made of choc/caramel would be uber sweet but not this one. I only wanted a little slice but I ended up eating almost half of it ( I would have finished the whole thing if I didn't have to share).
