I love coming here for a little sweet treat for the kids after their lunch. They are super happy to come here and love looking at all the items offered. My son usually gets a rice krispy pop or cake pop. My daughter always does ice cream. They make everything in-house which I love. Everything is so fresh and made early in the morning. The service is always bright and wonderful and the staff are really nice. No bad experiences here. I love chocolates. They are my absolute favorite kind of candy. I don't go here a lot but usually visit once a year for that "free" birthday truffle. I was already in the river park area so I decided to go redeem it. I already knew this was gonna happen, cus it happened last year... the truffle really isn't free free. You have to purchase something to get it even though it doesn't state for you to purchase anything to redeem it... I ended up getting sea salt caramel truffle and the birthday truffle. Since the bday one is "free", I only paid for the sea salt one but was surprised to hear $4 and some change.. Well damn they expensive!!! One damn truffle is a lil over $4. I mean they are tasty but not enough for me to keep coming back for it for that price. That's why I only come once a year lol. I have tried their candy apples before and the best one to me is the strawberry cheesecake. I love how they cut it for you to make it easier to eat. The employees there were nice. I recently visited this shop to help my mom redeem her bday reward and the service there was very rude and told me I needed to make a purchase to receive the birthday reward and they had told me is was "store policy" which didnt make sense because no where on the reward said I needed to purchase it. I was not able to try the food since they didnt want to serve me. The ambiance was clean. I went to the fashion fair location just afterwards and they were able to serve me the birthday reward. *This review is solely on the Dubai Chocolate bar* Customer service is good and they have a wide selection of anything chocolate, however if you are going just for the Dubai Chocolate bar you will be severely disappointed! $20 for a CHOCOLATE BAR is absolutely outrageous and for the amount of kataifi and pistachio spread they have within the bar. (You would think you're getting a golden ticket to Willy Wonka's chocolate factor for the price) I would say the chocolate bar is 80% chocolate/ 20% kataifi and pistachio spread. Pretty disappointing and I think you're better off buying the ingredients and making it yourself. read more

I absolutely enjoy a good Carmel Apple and I have to say my favorite is the Apple Pie. There are so many flavors, including new ones for the younger generation. They have so many options. The store is always clean and that staff are friendly. I love going in and sampling the new flavors. read more

Thr chocolate covered apples were very good BUT one apple, one water and a soda was $22.00+! This is rediculous, the apples are not that big and was very surprised at the cost. My daughter saw cotton candy ice cream and of course she had to get that since finding out their ice cream is Thrifty ice cream, my daughter's favorite! I came by a couple times with my sister and we love getting the chocolate orange peels and trying different truffles. During our last visit she let the girl ringing us up know we wanted to use our 20% off we received that was to expire in a couple days. We spent a decent amount on a variety of chocolate, but the staff member forgot to use our discount. This was an accident, which mistakes happen, totally understandable. She was super sweet about trying to offer us a fair solution. After calling up her manager/owner, we were pretty much told there was nothing they could do and that we could just come back before it expired and use it then. I was pretty irritated with the phone call response received here and wish there was a standard way to remedy our transaction. Since it is by percentage and not a fixed value, it's based on how much you spent during your visit. Even when I or my coworkers made mistakes running my previous employer's food shop, we were well equipped with ways to remedy a bad transaction. One of the pillars was customer service, even if a transaction went poorly, if your customer was left happy with their interaction they would have a higher chance of being a repeat customer/regular. The girl working did everything perfectly, she was apologetic and did what she could on her part--despite her mistake I don't hold her at fault. I didn't think to write this review, but we just got another 20% off offer via promo which I thought was funny. Anyway, the chocolate isn't bad--the experience just left me with the wrong kind of bitter taste in my mouth. I'll give my business elsewhere. read more

As were walking through River Park we noticed that the chocolate store was open and we went inside there with so much variety. We were given a sample of the candy apple and it was delicious. We could not decide quickly what we wanted but there was plenty of chocolate to choose from overall we decided to get a few items. Something is shady with this place. It looks pretty on the inside. The chocolates and candy apples are colorful and tempting. BUT! Why don't the employees wear gloves when making the chocolate? First red flag. Second red flag? When food falls on the floor the employees simply pick it up and dust it off. Gross. But the most glaringly obvious problem is with the staff. No smiles. No greetings. Looking as if they hate their job. The manager with giant ear holes is stone cold. It was Christmastime for gods sake! SMILE! The mall location is at least friendly. The Riverpark location is an uncomfortable mess. A chocolate shop should feel warm, inviting, and fun. Especially for kids! And speaking of kids, get that 500lb glass tabletop out of the middle of the store. My children came close to knocking it over a few times. It can't be avoided when crowded. Some of the other customers were bumping into it also. So customers are bumping into each other and the displays while ear holes literally stares into the crowd with no communication. Just bizarre. Waxing chocolate and ok berries. Always different people working. I never see the same staff twice.

I bought a sampling of the sugar-free varieties, one each of a Meltaway, English Toffee, Almond Cluster Chocolate Truffle, and a Raspberry Truffle. I cannot recommend any of these. They barely had any chocolate flavor and the outside coating tasted like and had the consistency of wax. Some also tasted stale. The only one that actually had flavor were the toffee pieces inside the 'chocolate' coating but even so I didn't eat all of it. I threw them all out, a waste of $12.40 RMCF, I advise that the sugar-free option be removed until you create a much better tasting candy and make sure they are freshly made. For anyone wanting decent sugar-free chocolates try Russell Stover packaged candies or See's. read more

New store in riverpark under new management. This shop is much larger which allows them to carry more inventory and selection. I am restricted to sugar free and their carmels are the best. Most people also don't know they do fundraisers and can make almost anything out of chocolate. I was there one day when a relator was picking up chocolate keys to give to their clients. If you catch them on the right day, they will have someone outside handing out samples of their famous carmel dipped apples. read more
