Both the service and the outcome of the birthday cake were bad. The employee at the counter helped me immediately, and was courteous and friendly. The bakery appeared clean and had a large selection of yummy looking pastries and goodies for sale. We ordered four flavors: Blueberry lemon, raspberry vanilla, chocolate peanut butter cup, and cookies and cream. All of them were bad and neither of us took more than one bite of each flavor. I did a walk in and they have a few cakes that you can come in and grab (call ahead for flavors and to put a cake on hold!). Got the 6" 3-layer salted carmel cake. It was bomb -- flavorful, soft, and not overly sweet. No complaints, will have to come back and try different flavors of cupcakes! I didn't think a 6" cake would be big but yeah....feeds 8-10 people and they aren't kidding. Its a tall cake so it should be more than enough! I really don't think you can go wrong. read more

My sister once surprised me with a multi tier birthday cake that had family pictures as the artwork on the cake..it was a lovely surprise especially since it was my first birthday without our mom. My husband was impressed by the care the staff took to load the cake into the car. We also LOVED the book birthday cake for our bookworm daughter! We had our kids attend their holiday cupcake decorating class when they were younger and it was a hit with them AND we got to eat the fruit of their labor!I also love the cookie decorating kits they sell during Christmas..makes a nice gift. Working in the same shopping center, I've become a huge fan. The variety of options is great and they're all delicious. So cool they do customized cakes and cupcakes as well. I've been going here for years and I have to say the quality has gone down the last several times we've ordered cupcakes. They are always beautiful, the flavors are delightful and the consistency is great. The thing I'm having a hard time with is there's almost a freezer burn after taste. Although the cupcakes and pies are fantastic they just don't have much cake or filling in the case of the pie. Frosting is great but when I want a pie I really crave the inside a whole lot more.
