One of Kent Station's edible delights that is always worth stopping in for after a meal. During Covid-19, the employees only allow up to 3 people within the store at the time, meaning that the door is roped off by a partition that only the employees can allow access inside. Chocolate is sold by the weight either in bags, or boxes. Since I was purchasing chocolate for only myself on this visit, I chose the bag option. 12 pieces & a variety of chocolate later, my purchase total came to $11.99. Not bad when you consider that the ladies place two free samples inside of the bag as a thank you. Yhe chocolates taste about as fresh as the day it was made, with a deliciousness that I can describe as rich, creamy, and slightly potent with the flavoring. See's Candies is still phenomenal! As others have said, if you are going to go to see's candies, this is the one to pick if you can. The attendants are effusive in their friendliness and offering of samples and coupons. It was an old fashioned candy shop experience such as I haven't had since I was a kid. I really appreciated that. Sweet. As soon as we walked in we were offered samples. Even as my child went through the whole store pretty much messing up everything, the lady was super kind and didn't make me feel like the worse mom in the world since my kid was all over the place. Thank you sees for being so kind and making my experience as calm as you could. We got lollipops and chocolate coins and the couple in front of us let us check out before them. Everyone was so nice! I had the most amazing experience yesterday! I went into the store with a friend as I had a craving for the Double Caramels; which I found out were seasonal - much to my dismay :( My friend needed to pick up three Fathers Day gifts so she appeased me with a stop at Sees. Jemmi, the associate was so helpful! I was absolutely floored with the amazing service that she provided. She went above and beyond and helped us pick multiple boxed items. She then separated out the boxes and individually wrapped them into the themed bags my friend purchased. She made each gift look like it was put together professionally. The gifts were a huge hit with her family members! Jemmi went above and beyond for my friend and made our experience wonderful! I will be returning to this Sees because of the amazing customer service and helpfulness of the associates. Not to mention the delicious chocolate! read more

So after the bf, kiddos and I went to dinner, a little See's Candies would totally hit the spot. I knew exactly what i wanted so when we walked in, I said 4 California Crunches please?.... And she handed them over and didnt charge me!! Outstanding customer service! I was stunned when I went in a few weeks ago that they gave samples! It was half of a dark chocolate nut bar. As soon as you enter the completely clean store is stunning. It's easy to see the shop is set up to wrap eventually to the counter showing off all the different flavors. The Kona coffee one is definitely one of my favorites. The staff member working was very friendly and bubbly. Once we got our huge samples (I asked why, and she said they were discontinuing that candy bar) so after we selected our candies and paid it was hard to leave! The staff member was so friendly and I must admit the uniforms seems so starchy but she wore it so fabulously! Thanks for creating such an inviting and welcoming experience here! One of the few candies that is hard to resist....The Sees....When I was a little girl, a relative living in California came home for vacation and brought us a few boxes ....this is how I got my initiation...when I started working and friends ask me what I want when they go for vacation in California, told them to get me a box of See's, when I migrated here a few years later...Guess what candy I was looking for...The Sees of course only to find out that they only have it on the Westcoast.. When I visited Seattle in the early 80's, on our way to the mall we passed by the store, backed up and had a field day just going over the goodies, we were also given unending samples which was difficult to resist...ended up buying a whole bulk to bring home. Another time, I went to visit my sister in California and I knew then that my dieting would have to take a backseat....this happened everytime I chance on a a Sees treat. It sure destroyed my dream of being voluptous...this CANDY WAS SURE HARD TO RESIST. I was feeling pretty blue after visiting my Dad at the MI Care Center on Sunday. Dad used to take us Sees at Northgate Mall when we were kids on our birthdays for just one piece. Oh, how we waited for the lady in the strange-nurse like white dress to put our special piece in the little bag and give it right to you. I relayed this memory to my husband one birthday a while back. So, my husband was at the movies with his teenage daughter (Spidey 3 - of course). After the show, they stopped and picked a few pieces out just for me. How they managed to get 3/4 of the way down the rows before deciding on Bordeaux and Coconut Specials is a mystery to me. The milk chocolate Bordeaux - so creamy and soft and the honey laced Coconut Specials are completely worth giving into temptation for. I always stop by here, and my experience is always wonderful. They box their truffles seasonally, and the sprung fruit one is the best on my opinion. This place has a little bit of Heaven in it. The shop is small but oh my goodness there are tons of candies to buy! This review will be similar to the Tukwila review but i'll change it up. When you Walk into See's Candies, you'll be presented with a clean store front with a keeping it simple design & a candy counter that feels like a blast from the past. My first time at See's was at the Tukwila location this year. I've recently been to See's in Kent & will now make this my go to place. But if you're a candy/chocolate lover, please consider stopping by this location or any store. After going to Tukwila's location, my first time buying at this location was plesant as well. There were two ladies in the store & the shop seemed smaller than the Tuwkila location & was much busier. Even when the ladies behind the counter were dealing with a ton of customers all at once, they took the time to greet me & offer me a sample without making the other customers feel mistreated. They will offer samples without hesitation. The shop feels so humble. Unlike any huge company, smaller stores tend to have more pride & decency. After trying out samples & grabbing a list of candies, we pricked out what we wanted & the experience was pleasant. There are different box sizes for different prices. I believe we filled a box up the first time & it was 25 dollars total. The 2nd time stopping by it was 15 dollars depending on weight. There are already packaged goodies in the shop but i recommend making your own candy box. My favorite is the dark chocolate raspberry filling ones. Yummy! Overall this location was friendly, clean, easy to find but because it's located inside Kent Station, it will be busier & parking will be harder to find. So if you're in a shopping mood or if you want to gift chocolate to your loved ones for the holidays, i recommend stopping by See's Candies. They're next to everything so it makes a shopping trip more enjoyable at this location. read more

YUM, love me some See's Candies! This particular location has a super friendly and helpful staff. And, of course, the chocolate is divine. I stopped in here to get a couple of pieces of dark chocolate for my boyfriend (and well, duh, a couple for myself as well!). The employee behind the counter gave me some good recommendations. We were beyond happy with our chocolates - SO GOOD! I'll definitely be back - this location is dangerously close by my boyfriend's house. The store is nice and bright, clean and chocolates are well displayed. The people who work there are very pleasant and professional. They greet you when you come in and give you a free sample!! They change their display according to seasons and they have some special ones offered for just those seasons too which is nice. I did not know See's was only on the west coast until I moved here so I usually get a bunch to send to friends in the East Coast. The women at this location are super nice and friendly! I went on Tuesday evening to grab some treats before a movie and the red-head behind the counter offered me a sample. Turns out they were my favorite and so I bought a few pieces and she was so nice as to give me a piece for the road. I don't know her name but that woman was so friendly and really turned a crummy week around for me. The chocolates aren't Fran's but they don't need to be, they're good in their own way. All in all, the excellent customer service from that woman and the treats will have me coming back. read more

Expensive and not very fresh. I took 10 small pieces ( smaller than a Reese peanut butter cup) home at a cost of $7.20 and found more than half of the chocolates were stale. At this shop one is not charged by the piece but by the weight. I will avoid this shop in the future! read more
