Dear Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Im writing to share my disappointment with a recent experience at one of your locations. I purchased four caramel apples online for pick up for $54, and when I asked to have them sliced, I was told it was an inconvenience at the time even though I know your stores typically offer slicing. At that price point, I expected a more accommodating level of service. Slicing the apples makes them much easier to enjoy and share, and it was frustrating that such a simple request wasnt handled more considerately. Ive always appreciated your products, but this experience left me let down. I hope youll consider making the slicing option consistently available and customer-friendly in the future. read more

Everything went well! Shop is beautiful, arrangement of chocolates and other desert items, organized and well displayed. The reception was pleasant and he explained about the care and process of his apples. I had been looking for candied and caramel apples, grocery stores didn't have any in their displays. I went on line and asked SIRI who had my apples. ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHOCOLATES had them. I rushed over, been wanting these beauties for some time, picked mine up and a gift for my sister! Once I bite into my first apple, I was in heaven till the last bite. What a surprise and my new found apple and chocolate store to visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience! When we arrived there were no lines and plenty of candied apples on display. Their bear mascot was sitting lazily in a chair, in the middle of the store. It's a small store that sells candied apples, chocolates and more. They offer a military discount, with proof of ID, and the cashiers are friendly. My only qualm is that the apples are way too expensive! I don't know if the apples are organic but from what I saw their most expensive apple was $8.25 and their least expensive was $4.25. The apples are delicious and they can cut them for you but I don't think they're worth the price. This location is in the Victor Valley Mall in Victorville. read more

Nice enough employees, too bad the candy doesn't stand up. I used to go to Rocky Mountain Chocolates like a sugar-crazed fiend as a kid...then I expanded my palette. I came here on two occasions and tried a few things: English Toffee Bar: Good; the toffee was the tastiest part, the almonds were ok and the milk chocolate had an odd aftertaste to it. White Chocolate Bark: Favorite thing from the lot; white chocolate bark fused with M&M's. Simple. Tasty. I enjoyed it. Peanut Butter Cups (Milk Chocolate): The Peanut Butter filling was great, unfortunately the milk chocolate did nothing for me; it had the same, funky aftertaste of a Hershey's bar. On that note, this is the same milk chocolate used for the English Toffee Bar, so I guess the culprit in both these candies is the milk chocolate: poor quality. I'm not one to get too picky when it comes to candy (I am admittedly a huge fan of Reese Peanut Butter Cups, hence why I got two from here), but given the weighed pricing, I'd expect higher quality when coming in here and paying $12.25 for three pieces of chocolates. Oh well, you live and learn and there's always more chocolatiers to try out. read more

I know this is a franchise store so most of the chocolates and treats are all pretty much the same I've been to at least four different locations and this one stood out for the great customer service not only was the attendant Ashley super friendly when we came in she was also very patient and helping us choose what we wanted even offered a vegan option which I never even knew they had we eventually settled on some candy apples that she gladly cut for us which made eating them so much easier and more enjoyable I'll definitely stop by this location if Ashley is there read more

So Rocky Mounting Chocolate factory apparently thinks we are all stupid selling us there their nasty expensive truffles . We bought 2 of them at $2 dollars each . One was red velvet cake and one was smore's they both tasted the same . What the hell ? The same flavor!!! We also bought a ridiculous 7 dollar Apple! What is with their fruit always being so damn warm ! It's not refreshing at all in fact it made me gag! Nobody wants a warm apple! I honestly don't know how they stay in business I honestly think because of lack of competition has made them lazy. I can't wait for a new and exciting chocolate shop blowing them out of the water . Take your apple to the updated food court, and let the learning begin. This is prime HD people-watching opportunity. You'll see some crazy things-- but this is, my friend, the pinnacle of HD culture. I never had a problem here until recently, I had gotten a snickers Apple and as I was eating it I had bitten into what appeared to be glass ( a small piece) I pulled one out and then another. I took it back to notify them and at least get my money back since I only had two slices of the cut Apple, the girl that was working there called her manager and they refused to give me my money back, but they offered to pay in chocolate.
