While I understand that mistakes can happen, it became frustrating that it occurred more than once. I will say that when the correct service is done, the grooming itself is usually decent, it has just been difficult getting the correct service performed. Toward the end, they did acknowledge the situation, but it felt more focused on what I could have done differently rather than fully taking responsibility. I did want the bath and nail trim, but the most important service I requested was the shave. Unfortunately, the shave was not done. At checkout, I was initially told the total would be around $100 for the bath even though the main service I requested was not completed. I ultimately paid $66 for services that were not what I had asked for. When my dog was brought back to me, I was told he had been shaved to 5/8, which he clearly was not. After reviewing the groomer's notes, I was told he had received a contour and butt trim services I had declined at the beginning when they were offered. I had specifically asked for the same shave he received during his previous visit. I do acknowledge there may have been some miscommunication at the front desk, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, when it happens more than once, it becomes difficult to overlook. I also felt uncomfortable bringing my dog back to have it corrected because I worried I might be viewed as a difficult customer, and I never want to feel concerned about how that could affect how my dog is treated. Customer service and clear communication are extremely important when trusting someone with your pet. After reading some of the owner's responses to other Google reviews, the replies came across as unprofessional and poorly written. While I understand wanting to defend your business, the tone of those responses was disappointing. After giving several chances, I unfortunately don't feel comfortable bringing my dog back. I hope the facility works on improving customer service, as it is one of the most important aspects of running a business.

She really knows her stuff, and she is able to make adjustments on the fly with individual dogs. I had 1 of my dogs do the board-and-train with her and the daily updates were so thorough. I was told the training was all play and relationship based. I was concerned when I picked my dog up from the two week board and train because he kept trying to run away from the training room and hide behind my legs during turnover. Levi shocked him at such a high level that he cried multiple times when demonstrating commands (he told me that he was at a level 9 on a higher voltage collar than he originally started with because the dog is "stubborn" and "lazy."). I think dogs should always love training or something is being done wrong. Although I am not opposed to e collars in principle, I believe it was overused due to a lack of skill in really understanding this dog. When my dog came home I switched entirely to positive reinforcement because of what I had seen. At first my dog flinched when I gave him commands. He winced and turned on his side. He seemed afraid but like he did not know what to do to avoid punishment. I found an injury on his neck in the area the e-collar had been used. He is now working willingly and happily for me. There is never any "stubbornness" or "laziness." He loves training time. The program I purchased came with lifetime support if I returned for a follow up appointment, which of course I didn't do, because I could not fathom making my dog go back to the place of his mistreatment, and why would I want any more "advice" from abusive psuedo-trainers anyway? I did contact Levi about these concerns and he took zero accountability--which means he will do the same thing to more dogs.
