We enjoyed our visit to this clean and well managed theatre. Great concessions! Their cheese and carmel popcorn is da bomb! They have a number of coin operated amusements in the lobby to enjoy before the show. Wish they had pinball though.... You can be assured that we will be back! Big screen, great sound. Comfortable Stadium Seating. Clean. Very reasonably priced tickets. Convenient location. Only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the very high priced Concession Stand, and the seats while adequate are not as up to date as used to. That said I plan to be a frequent customer. read more

A night out was just what we needed. As usual I repurchased our tickets through app before hand. The staff is always very pleasant and attentive. This is probably the cleanest theatre I've ever attend. I recommend that you enjoy a good movie and a snack here. read more

While on vacation in the area we decided to check out a movie. This theaters tickets for very affordable and they had the new releases. The theater was clean and the seats were comfortable for being in a theater older than what we are use to. The popcorn was tasty and the combos were priced well. We ended up getting a large combo that came with a large popcorn and 2 large drinks. One of the drinks we were able to change to a slush drink. I asked for a small cup on the side and we were given no issues which I was thankful for. The staff were all nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend checking out this theater when in the area. read more

Very disappointed with this theater who sold tickets to the Spy movie with Mrs. McCarthy as the main actress in this Rated R movie to a mother and grandmother carrying a swaddling baby along with 3 children under the age of 12 to a showing on a Friday night, 730pm. It is very inconsiderate for the other customers enjoying a night out to be interrupted by children and a crying baby. As a concerned patron, voicing the disruption during the movie and then ignored and saying that because they bought the tickets, they can't do anything about it; unbelievable! There are notices and signs about disruptive behavior during movies, but yet they aren't able to follow through with their policies to make everyone's movie experience pleasant... Will NOT be returning to this theater...and have passed the word to others... read more

Rocky top is where the movies are! The place is clean, the people are friendly its comfortable! I'd much prefer this place to the AMC in Cookeville that is SO DIRTY all the time! read more

I see all these reviews saying the theater is clean. Do these people not have a sense of smell? Did they not have a need to use the restroom? The restroom was nasty. The theater smelled like a urinal. The nachos were so stale they were almost inedible. Cheese was ok. Popcorn was ok, but they don't understand the term "extra butter" apparently. That is ok, my toddler thought it was ok for at least a handful. Also, TURN ON THE FREAKING HEAT! It is December for God's sake, and that place was freezing. Also, the only way their prices are competitive with other theaters in neighboring towns is if you use a discount site to get your tickets. Way too expensive for the horrible place that it is. The only reason that I give 2 stars is because they had Penguins in 3D and I loved the movie itself. read more

An update is necessary due to the age of most of the reviews here. Naturally, this theater, as with every other in the country, has updated to all digital, thus there is 3-D and various types of sound available. I like how management took the old film platters from their 35mm days and turned them into café tables in the large lobby. Candy stand has a lot of good options. I guess price is relative. If you have come from a larger city, the ticket prices, especially for matinees and seniors, is surprisingly low. Prices may vary based on the film, not something under control of the theater. You can also buy ticket books for a further discount. Seats are comfortable, high backed and slightly reclining. There is good legroom. If you want a lot of space, sit in the very top row where there appears to be double the amount of space between rows. When we first visited Crossville before moving here, the layout of the roads was confusing and we never quite knew where we were so I can forgive someone saying this is a lousy location. Actually, this is one of the best locations a theater can have. It is a block off RT127 (North Main Street) which is the main shopping road in town and right behind the Super Walmart. It is also a five minute drive from I-40 which is important as that is the road many county residents, especially those thousands at Fairfield Glade, use to get into town. Being able to access the theater on the lightly developed Interstate Drive beats having to drive into town to access the location of the previous movie house (currently a church). The staff, as with any movie house, is mostly high school kids. I have sometimes found them to be a bit clueless (as can be expected) but never had an experience with rudeness. Management is always friendly. My one quibble with Rocky Top 10 is the selection of films, naturally favoring those that will bring in the young audience. Due to having to show both 2-D and 3-D versions of some, there are not always the number of titles you might expect at an tenplex. However, the lack of smaller, high quality films is somewhat made up for by the theater's cooperation with the local film society who sponsor members-only or free public showings of films that don't make it on to the regular schedule. The society has become so popular that their showings fill two auditoriums. Not every multiplex would have the community involvement to make room on their schedule for these types of private or free public showings. read more

Went to see a movie this last weekend. Getting a ticket was easy, the line moved quickly. While in line to get snacks, the people in front of us ordered several items and the cashier and manager suggested upsizing to get a combo so it would be cheaper. I thought this was great customer service. Also, while walking to the door my hands were full with popcorn and drink, and an employee that was on clean up duty offered to open the door. Everyone seemed so happy and courteous. Was a very enjoyable experience. read more

I am in town visiting my in-laws. Yesterday we decided to go see a movie. The Tooth Fairy. Ten minutes into the movie there was a big green line going through the screen. I waited a couple minutes to see if it would go away but it didnt. I left the movie to go let the employees know there was something wrong. In the hallway there were three employees. I kindly let them know there was something wrong. I fully expected them to run up and try to fix it. Instead they all looked at me blankly and one of them said. "Yeah, the film is scratched." I said to him, "You had everyone pay full price for a movie that you knew was damaged?" He said, "There is nothing we can do about it. The movie company just cares about getting their money." I couldnt believe it! What terrible customer service! One of the ladies standing there finally chimed in that I could get my money back or switch movies. Hello!?! Dont sell tickets in the first place. Or how about saying this movie has a line in it would you like to purchase a ticket for half price? That would have made me happy. Knowing that they knew of the damage and still took full price made me so upset. Is this the only theater in town? If so I see how they are taking advantage of people. Wake up small town folks. You dont have to put up with such terrible customer service. read more

The theatre is clean, the lines are normally fairly short and with the dealflicks, it is a good value. Even without the dealflicks, it is lower than the surrounding theatres. They will even deliver a custom pizza to you in your movie, 10 bucks for a whole pizza custom made. read more

Yesterday, Sunday, June 3rd, several of my friends and I went to this theatre to see The Book Club. None of us live in the city of Crossville. We planned this girls day out over a week ago. We arrived 30 mins. early because it was a popular movie. When we walked up to the ticket booth, we noticed a sign saying that "Due to a malfunction with the projector, The Book Club would not be shown. We were very disappointed to say the least. This Cinema has 10 screens and 3 different movies are playing on 2 screens. We asked the guy selling tickets why they didn't move this movie to one of the other screens and he said because the manager is off and the "young kids up there don't know what they're doing". One would think there would be an assistant manager who knew how to handle a situation like this especially on a weekend. Today, I stopped in to the theatre (sign was still up) to talk to the manager about this because as popular as this movie is and being on a weekend, I can't believe we were the only people inconvenienced. I told him the situation and what we'd been told and he never apologized or explained why it couldn't be moved. He never engaged in conversing with me. All he would say, in an agitated voice, was the projector was fixed. I mentioned that the sign was still up. Again, in the same agitated voice, he said it was fixed. I wasn't going to continue to try and engage with him so I turned around and walked out of his office. As I walked out of the theatre, the sign was still there and I asked the lady in the ticket booth if she expected the movie to be shown today and she said she had no information. This so called manager needs a course in Customer Service 101. He was the most unprofessional person to be in a management position. So, due to this man's unprofessionalism, I am giving Rocky Top 10, 1 Star! read more

This is a good movie theater. It's very clean but a little bit off the beaten path. I don't think they are set up to do any 3D movies but show them all in 2D. That's okay as I don't care for 3D in most cases. Plenty of concessions and video games/pinball to play between movies. I'll see you there, lol! read more
