I ordered a custom tuxedo from Rockys for a special event. Rockys gave me a complimentary custom dress shirt with my order. I was really worried about the way the tuxedo and dress shirt would turn out, as I am extremely difficult to please. My order was ready in about three weeks. I had my first fitting and I was somewhat disappointed as I like my clothing to be slim fit. Sapna listened to my wishes and tailored my tuxedo jacket and dress shirt to my liking. The tuxedo and dress shirt looked incredible. I loved the look and the fit at the end. The price of my custom outfit was comparable to a designer tuxedo and dress shirt I would buy in a store, if not significantly cheaper. My order was surely worth the price. Rockys is truly a gem in the valley for perfectly fitted custom shirts, slacks, suits, sport coats, etc. I have been going here for a few months now and have purchased 4 custom shirts and a pair of dress slacks over this time. I haven't gone anywhere since!! Not only do you get to choose from hundreds of unique fabrics with their various booklets but you can custom design the inner stitching around the collar, sleeves, buttons, etc with so many options. Danish is who I deal with when choosing my purchases here and he is nothing but EXCELLENT 10/10 in helping you choose what you have pictured in mind. A true fashion professional, you won't go wrong with his opinion. Why go to Macy's or another outlet and spend $50-$60 on a poorly fitted brand named shirt when you can come here for around the same price and get something you uniquely design from scratch! Not to mention it is fitted perfectly to your body! The #1 reason why I will be customer here forever is due to their customer service. I had an issue with my slacks (small tear), which happens and they took care of it for me without hesitation. This is what makes Rockys different from everywhere else. I assure you if there is a problem they will make it right for you, no questions asked. I am not a big YELP reviewer but I couldn't help myself when it comes to this place. I now have a total of 8 custom made suits and they by far are the best suits in my closet. Back in 2009 I purchase my first suits. Rocky responded to my email immediately when I asked a question. I came in bought 3 suits, Rocky came out and connected with me and threw in a shirt in my package. I have now bought 5 more and love the detail. Picked up 3 suits on august 29, 2014 and cannot wait to wear them. My only regrets is that I have not reconnected with Rocky since my first visit to share my positive feedback. read more

I've been a client of Rocky's for 10+ years, working with Rocky in Chicago and most recently, Danish when he comes to Denver. The quality and selection is outstanding. I've had various issues over the years ranging from fit issues to me not liking a suggested fabric. They've always gone out of their way to make sure I'm satisfied and will bend over backwards to make you feel like a valued customer. I bought a gorgeous seersucker suit from Macy's at a deep discount that needed alterations. I began looking for THE Best Tailor in Los Angeles. Friends made recommendations, I looked them up on Yelp!, then reported that I needed someone more reliable. One friend thought my standards were too high; I said my standards were: "Don't f**k up my suit." I wanted to place it into the hands of a master and know I'd be getting quality work done well and done right. I'm not particularly stylish, as anyone who knows me can attest, but I recognized an exceptionally beautiful suit, and I've had shoddy tailoring, so I needed a place that I could trust. Finally I got a very high recommendation from a friend of a friend who was "extremely picky" about his clothes: Rocky's Custom Clothing. Extremely Picky was music to my ears. My partner, who had four pairs of ordinary pants that needed to be altered, came along. There were some red flags that I ignored. The shirts in the display window were among the ugliest I'd ever seen (I assumed that I knew even less about style than I'd imagined). Rocky made an offhand comment that I would probably only ever wear this suit twice in my life (I planned to wear it to work at least once every single week throughout the summer). The big red flag was that Rocky warned me that, because he wasn't custom-making it himself, he couldn't guarantee that it would look right. I took this as modesty. His standards were so high that he was covering himself for the slightest imperfections! I was visibly stunned when he presented the bill: more than I paid for the suit itself. Gulp. I guess that's what you have to pay when you're insisting on the highest quality work. The jacket was a bit big on me, reminiscent of David Byrne in Stop Making Sense. I personally didn't mind it, but Rocky thought it was entirely too big, so I gave in to his expertise to bring the whole thing in a little--such guidance was, after all, the reason I was there. But when I picked it up, the upper sleeve was sewn so close in and so far down that I couldn't stretch my arms out without lifting the entire jacket halfway up my body. It looked horrible. The suit was basically ruined, the one thing I had taken such careful and fastidious steps to avoid. Rocky defended himself: it wasn't made for me and so couldn't be altered properly. In other words, "I told you so" (after insisting that I not leave it big). Never had I imagined that I could pay so much for so high a recommendation to get it so, so wrong. The pragmatic suggestion: leave the button unbuttoned and don't raise your arms, then no one will ever notice. (What a great solution!) I asked him point blank, "Certainly you can't tell me that you think it looks good, do you?" To his credit, he agreed. That was the big problem, but not the only one. The sleeves were clearly different lengths and the waist was so loose that I wondered if they'd altered it at all. Okay, so bring it back, have it remeasured, nothing unusual. As for my partner's pants, he tried on one pair, they fit, and since they were all the same size, he assumed that they all would. I picked up the suit altered for the second time, wore it to work, and got complimented by the first person who saw it. This much is true: the suit looks great on me and I look great in it. But the waist was still WAY too big. How could it be SO loose? Again, had they done nothing? Was I being punk'd? On the phone to Rocky that it still wasn't right and I had to bring it back. This time there would have to be a slight charge. I guess he heard a fight in my voice, because I objected and he immediately agreed to waive the charge. My second time wearing it was for a wedding reception. At the event, my partner wore one of the pairs of pants that he HADN'T tried on before, and was dismayed to see that they are still too long. He also noticed that my seersucker pants are too short. Indeed, are they supposed to lift halfway up the leg, well beyond the top of the sock, when one crosses one's legs? There's more than enough material to get it corrected, but I won't be going back to Rocky's to do it. At this point, I don't want them to even touch my clothes again, and I'm certainly not giving them another dime. We'll take my partner's pants to a regular tailor to have them done correctly. I'm contemplating seeing if the suit is still on sale, buying another one, and (obviously) taking it elsewhere to be altered. But with my budget, I'll more likely wear it as it is and, as long as I never raise my arms or cross my legs, everything will be just great! In Rocky's defense, he did warn me that it wasn't going to look great since he wasn't custom-making them himself-. And their tailors, who seem to be the REAL problem, are not on site. So if you're getting your clothes custom-made, this is presumably an excellent place to do it. But for ordinary alterations, Rocky's should most definitely be avoided at all (quite substantial) costs. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE especially a lady named (Sapna) that helped me get my suit.. I will start off with my first visit about a year ago , i had just ordered 3 shirts which my brother referred my to them.. After letting them know that i need it at this certain time frame, not only were the shirts delayed , but the collar size was incorrect.. So they had to fix the collars and that took about another 3-4 days... Anyways going to what happened recently in Sep 2011 .. I ordered a suit/shirt/vest and so on for my brothers wedding that was on Oct 1st... Everything comes on time except for the Vest that was done incorrectly which they had to redo in Hong Kong... Due to some sort of sunami excuse in Hong Kong, which that never happened.. I ended up paying full price for my order and coudnt where my vest that went with this suit to my brothers wedding!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone, cause of there poor customer service and on top of all that they did not have the common sense to offer me some kind of price reduction or some shirts for free..!! Anyways thank god i have found a new place that has class cause thats what custom suits are all about read more
