With some trepidation, we ordered over 1,000 pounds of gravel in 22 bags. We're seniors and we needed the gravel delivered as close to the landscape area where it would be placed, as was possible. This required navigating a narrow driveway, while carefully avoiding ornate brickwork, mature tree branches and various shrubs and perennials. Not only did Lowe's send our delivery driver, Jerry, equipped with a forklift, uniquely engineered to manage difficult terrain and tight spaces, but Jerry was perhaps the most capable, skillful, caring and kind delivery person I've ever encountered.
