I found the local store (since apparently Home Depot doesn't carry this brand). The clerk was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. I wanted to get a sample of the color to ensure it was what I wanted. I was informed that they were "out" of samples, but that I could buy the full can and if I didn't like I could come in and exchange it. Kinda sounds like a scam, I still had to pay for a full gallon as opposed to a small sample.

I appreciate that I was even able to show him pictures and he was able to provide insight on the types of paint to order as well as how much primer we needed. After using what he suggested so far, we're seeing the quality of the paint and see how the value of paint really reflects in the finished product/close to finished product. Be still my beating heart! .05 star for the highly disinterested staff (multiple over three days!) Let me start this story- went in on a Tuesday early evening found a pink color I liked, grabbed a sample- the little lady who helps was the only one who doesn't deserve a half . Called the next morning to order my paint (cause the color was DELISH)- like at 9:00am. Was told it MIGHT be ready by EOB but they needed 24 hours. I called at EOB a big NOPE ..." it may be ready tomorrow am..." ok. Told me they would call. NOPE. So I called - it's Thursday at 5:10pm. "Oh yeah, it's ready..." Came to get it, and made me wait and wait and wait. Like seriously, WTF. Exactly how long should this really take?! Ugg. I realize that everywhere is short-staffed, I totally do get this, BUT for the staff that is working, answering phones, and generally being in customer service- you might try being a little, just a *smidge* better in the customer service department. Next time, I'm bringing my paint chip somewhere else and having it matched.... High quality products be damned...my time is worth it.

I asked one of the 6 people heading to the break room if they could help me with my issue and they either ignored me or said they can't and shrugged and continued on their way.

I will often go to the Issaquah Lowe's if I need to do something that requires talking to a person. Their staff is ample and friendly and knowledgeable where here at the landing (which is way closer to me than Issaquah) it is hard to find someone and when you do you need to badger them to help you. Also they require you to BUY WOOD before they will cut it to size for you. What's the deal with that? I have to lug a bunch of plywood to the front of the store for you to then cut it to size for me after I lug it back to the cutting station at the opposite end of the store from where the checkout counter is. That's crazy. Don't do that, I don't do anything lumber related that isn't just buying 2x4's from Renton Lowe's anymore. Any Home Depot & Issaquah Lowe's are getting all of my business that requires more than just my own hands and the self checkout. People that I do interact with when I'm walking in or doing the self checkout are pleasant. And there's a guy there that works behind the paint desk, and he's very nice. Oh and they have good bathrooms. Very convenient because sizzle dog is right there and sometimes during lunch ya gotta run in to make a quick deposit mid hotdog ya know.

Josue and his coworker (forgot his name) was very friendly, personable and helpful. After picking out the color, they were able to get it mixed with the quickness.
