I found out a week ago that Sherwin Williams had discontinued my paint color in 2017. It was…read moreParker Paint who Sherwin Williams purchased in 2013 or so.. When I had my home built in 2005 I had all my walls and ceilings painted with this one color of Parker Paint. In the last 15 years I have purchased a gallon at a time to do touch ups. My walls look great. I don't do the drama of painting my walls different colors if I want a different look I move my pictures around. I live in a 2800SF home so can you imagine the shock and disbelief when I found out that they had discontinue my paint color. I than proceeded to bring them samples of my paint, codes and some of the old wet paint that I had left. I had them try 4 times but it just kept getting worse. It looked like water stains on my wall. I than went to Ace they couldn't do the sheen, than I went to Olympic same result. I was very upset as what was I going to do. Repaint all my walls which would have cost me around $15k. I started emailing and calling around to professional painters thinking they might be able to help me. I got a response from a professional paint company letting me know that matching paint is very difficult. They would attempt to do it for a fee but said Rodda paint is who they use and they have had great success with them so I told them thanks for the info and I'd try working with Rodda paint first. Just so you know there are different sheens and every paint company labels them differently, flat, pearl, matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss & hi-gloss. Sherwin Williams had the sheen wrong the first time. Just because park paint called it satin did not mean it was satin. It was matte finish to Sherwin Williams. To Rodda it was pearl finish. Anyway yesterday I took my samples in to Rodda and found the best guy in the state Dennis so I was told. Well I picked up the gallon today and it is a perfect match. I almost cried. This saved me thousands of dollars. I will give Dennis a tip but really why can't there be a Dennis in every profession. People who actually take pride in their work. Thank you Dennis and if your company doesn't realize how valuable you are shame on them. thank you thank you. Roger Olson

I just wanted to give a huge shout out and thank you to Kendra and Steve at the Rodda store on 4th…read moreAvenue. Not only did Kendra come to my site and give me advice and help on colors to use, but when I got to the store, she and Steve took absolutely wonderful care of me!! Can't say enough good things about the store and their customer service. And oh yeah, love the paint too! In a world where customer service is fastly disappearing, this store still has it down!!! THANK YOU!!!!

I couldn't be more disappointed with my experience here. I'm a couple blocks away and love Benjamin…read moreMoore paint, so I was super excited about being able to buy my paint here. Unfortunately in the midst of my painting project they lost the only 'can-do' person they had on staff. The remaining people (Lindsey and Justin in particular) have been consistent in their 'can't do' attitude. I am 6 months pregnant and repainting my entire condo, so I needed the Ben line of zero-VOC paint, which this location has decided not to stock. Elle wanted to get my business, and I was ordering ~$600-700 of paint at their prices, so she offered to bring the paint over from their Poulsbo location. After that I needed a couple more unanticipated cans, and Justin and Lindsey acted as roadblocks to me getting those. Justin just couldn't be bothered to get them sent over to the Bainbridge location, but Lindsey was incredibly rude and literally talked over me for long periods of time when I was trying to explain how this effected my project. I can't imagine treating a paying customer the way I was treated here. In the end, I had to drive over to Poulsbo, which isn't the worst thing in the world (just took a big chunk out of my painting day), but being disrespected the way I was by Lindsey was really upsetting and inexcusable.

Most businesss are doing there best during COVID and customers are being patient and understanding but paint needs to be stirred appropriately after color is added. Now going on 25 minutes. I will go back to the paint store I used to use in Issaquah!
