Daniel, the owner, was easy to reach and responsive throughout. When we talked numbers, he worked with us to fit our budget, which we really appreciated. The crew came out and handled everything in a single day. I'll be honest: our attic was a genuinely rough starting point. After the work was done, we noticed a recessed light had come loose. I reached out to Daniel and, without any hassle, he had someone out the very next day to fix it. On a weekend. That kind of follow-through says a lot. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Competitive pricing, willingness to work with you, a thorough scope of work, and a company that stands behind what they do. Would recommend without reservation.

I don't understand why, since they were always in communication with me, making excuses, and they shared my phone number with three people outside of 911. Attic Insulation, for me, I will never trust such an irresponsible and dishonest business again. I hope I'm the first person this has happened to, although I doubt it. I will stay away from this business and warn my friends and acquaintances to avoid hiring them. Good luck, keep lying to people. I stopped working today to wait for them and they never showed up. So I think Titan was bought by Insulation Labs but they are just redirecting the calls instead of shutting down the Titan brand because they want to double their chance at getting work. This feels like borderline fraud to me, so I won't be using either company. To be fair, I have no knowledge of the quality of their work. It's unfortunate they chose to do that.

This review has been a long time in coming. We just finished a series of renovations and upgrades…read morethat took us several months. I am now looking back at the various companies with whom we worked, and taking stock of our experiences. We went with RBH because our roofer recommended them. We also took his advice for hiring the electrician and rain gutter company we selected. We were very pleased with these last two choices. RBH Insulation, however, was a bit of a different matter. Our attic cleanout took place on a Friday, with the crew returning the following Monday to install the new insulation. Upon them leaving for the weekend, I went up into our attic, and was dismayed to discover old nails literally all over the place, so much so that I texted Greg, the RBH representative with whom we were working. In one small, four-foot by four-foot area, for example, I picked up over a dozen nails. (One of the first things our roofer told us was that his crew's work stripping our old roof would result in nails and debris dropping into the attic. Understandable, of course, but that's why we were told to plan to hire a cleanout service like RBH.) Greg's explanation was that it's very difficult for his crew to vacuum out metal objects as they suction out the old insulation, but that they would go back through with a magnet to get nails. While his crew worked the following Monday, I sat for the entire time at our dining room table watching them go back and forth. At no point did any of the crew acknowledge that they'd received this directive. Neither did I see anyone come or go with a magnet full of additional metal debris, so I'm hoping that the crew actually followed through on this. What is more, the crew cleaned none of the dirt and debris that had fallen through the old roof and was now spread on the insulation of our HVAC system. See the pictures. I was under the impression that we were paying to have our attic cleaned. If they're spending hours and hours vacuuming, why skip this? The most disconcerting discovery I made upon inspecting the crew's work before they added new insulation was that they had completely broken one of the large wooden support beams that holds up a huge duct for our forced air. I heard plenty of crashing around above me while the crew worked the first day, but no one reported anything damaged. Whoever broke the support beam simply carelessly draped the drooping air duct over another one, and left it. This was no small break. I'm talking about a large board that measures about twelve feet from end to end. Again, see my photos. Greg made a big deal about the rodent-proofing his service would include. This was good news, as we live on an alley, and there is a storm drain next door to us, as well. I've seen the kind of thorough work that companies can perform to ensure attics aren't accessible to animals. When I asked the crew about this, they had no idea what I was talking about. Again, I messaged Greg. He showed up at our home with a bottle of foam spray, the likes of which anyone can purchase at Home Depot, and said he'd be giving this to the crew. Later in the day, I received a set of pictures that included one of the top of a light fixture that now had foam sealant around it. (I was never concerned about rodents getting into our lights.) Another shows a board that now has holes plugged up. (Not sure there was ever much of a threat that rodents would burrow into solid wood.) When my roofer found out how much we spent on RBH, he was very surprised. Apparently, the costs had gone up considerably. (We paid $1500 more than he'd estimated we'd be charged.) Additionally, our roofer told us that we would immediately notice the effects of new insulation; our air conditioning, for example, would come on far less often, he told us. This was not the case at all. We have noticed no change. I realize that RBH isn't exactly at fault for these last two details, but they added to our consternation when all was said and done. Greg strikes me as a nice guy, and was pleasant to work with as we got started. I've given three stars because of this, and because it's evident that the actual insulation job was thorough. Also, the crew did good work preparing the house to prevent dust and debris from the vacuuming process from getting into our home.

I appreciated Greg's honest assessment on what needed to be done. Upon receipt of the proposal, the price was fair and reasonable. The two man crew of Gustavo and Will were punctual and worked hard non-stop (except for a short break). They respected me and my home. When they were done, moved the items back where they were and cleaned up afterwards. The attic looks clean and fresh! I wish I knew about RBH Installation 15 plus years ago because the initial installation would have been done right the first time.

I spent a comprehensive amount of time perusing all of the different options in Los Angeles -- there are a lot of options -- and finally decided upon Rodent Professor based upon proximity and reviews. I wanted an estimate not only on rodent prevention but also disinfecting the basement and vacuuming up the existing rodent droppings. Since this is the first time I have used such a service, I did not know what sort of cost was involved and was surprised to see online estimates ranging into the thousands of dollars, so I prepared myself for the assumed cost. Nate from Rodent Professor came out promptly at the appointed time and inspected the entire house -- basement, attic, inside the house itself -- and pointed out several potential points of entry into the basement and attic. Later in the day, I received an estimate via email that was in the expected cost range but at the lower end. I decided to proceed with the work. Nate and crew showed up promptly on time and were very efficient in screening all of the openings in the house, in addition to disinfecting the basement and vacuuming. Since their service, I've heard nothing and seen nothing in terms of rodent activity. This positive review is based upon several aspects of their service: excellent communication, being on time, efficiency of work and total overall cost. Highly recommended.

First and foremost, I want to clarify that this is not a review from a competitor, as I am not in the rodent industry. I am simply sharing my personal experience. I hired this company to resolve a rodent issue I had, and while they were quick to seal the deal, their follow-up was lacking. I was charged over $4500 because the representative stated they charge $4 per square foot. They promised to send pictures of the work done, but nothing was sent once they arrived at my residence. They did not inform me of where they believed the rodents were coming from, and I had to point out potential entry points myself. Additionally, the materials they used, such as screens and traps, can be purchased for much less at hardware stores. Despite contacting them multiple times about missed areas, they either arrived late or didn't show up at all, causing me to miss work. Their traps are ineffective, as rodents can easily escape, and they only use peanut butter as bait. After posting my review, I was harassed by another account, which I can provide evidence of. If you read their other negative reviews, you'll see they align with my experience. I've had my account for over 10 years, so I'm not a recent competitor trying to attack this company. My only intention is to warn potential customers about my experience with this company. It appears that reviews are often suspected of being from competitors only when they're negative, while positive reviews are assumed to be genuine. read more

Rodent Control Inc. got the rats and rat droppings out of our 2-story house 5 years ago, but then we had some major plumbing work done under the house and we left one crawl space open for a few weeks. Rats came back in. They also squeezed into air vents at the foundation and attic. We found out that they had chewed open one heating duct and were living inside it. So we invited Rodent Control Inc. back in. They removed all the attic insulation where the rats had been living. Vladimir is an expert at that vacuuming; he had trained Anderson in doing that while wearing a full white suit and mask that covered every inch of him like an astronaut. Anderson did a great job. He had to push his way through a 2-foot high space to extend the vacuum hose into the far corners of the crawl space between our first and second floors. David was in charge of the crew of 5 workers. He and Jordan removed the screen on all the ground-level vents and crawl spaces to the plumbing under the house. Then they installed new screen and painted it to match the house. It was all a big job, and they did it well. This job cost $5800--more than we expected--but the values of our house in Santa Monica is probably $2 million, so we have to protect it from rats. All our neighbors are doing rat removal work too. The good news is that Rodent Control Inc will come back weekly for a month to check the traps they set and make sure the rats are really gone. read more

05/25/2021 ~ Laguna Hills, CA. I highly recommend Rodent Control, Inc., to any property owner, who's pestered by pests, in the form of rodents . Had the "Live & let live...." attitude, when I caught them foraging for droppings from my bird feeders in the eve. Later as the population increased, their nocturnal adventures within my ceilings and walls prompted me to become more pro-active. Since this company had the best "Reviews", I didn't waste time getting bids. Joey proved to be a very good representative of our local Rodent Control,Inc. He promptly showed-up C.D.C. compliant, and used boot-protectors, while inside my house. He took a very long time to thoroughly assess my home's interior and exterior; even inside cupboards and under the sinks, etc. Seemed exceptionally knowledgeable re: the life & times of urban rodents! His crew of four men showed-up on time, and were also very compliant with Covid protective recommendations. T They worked very hard, an entire day : removed/ vacuumed tons of obsolete insulation in my attic, sealed with screens dozens of portals of entry all around the house and throughout my attic, installed traps under sinks and in my attic, and sanitized & applied odor & Pheromone neutralizer. Every single time I hear the commercial, Jake from State Farm I wanna scream "NOOO,You mean Jake from Rodent Control, I could get on top of a mountain and scream this, I mean this from the bottom of my emotionally drained phobia heart. The last few days our sanctuary has had upheaval and vacancy because of these disgusting things. Jake showed up the day of my hysterically incomprehensible consultation call extremely understanding, knowledgeable, and confident. By the way this was on a Sunday, no other company responded within a reasonable amount of time but Rodent Control! Tuesday Jake and the crew showed up like superheroes from a Marvel Movie, and I'm not exaggerating. This is absolutely the only company you need to contact for this issue. Funny enough the other non working Sunday companies called me back Monday late afternoon and when I mentioned I had Rodent Control coming they all (3 different company representatives) said honestly you are with the best, they know what they are doing, and their guys do better handy work. Keep in mind this is an investment for your mental health restoration, get an appointment as soon as possible. So, after discovering the unnerving evidence of a hole under my kitchen sink, followed by the culprit, a RAT in my kitchen, I was less than calm when calling Gil at Rodent Control. He and his team were amazing. They came out the very next day to inspect and found quite an extensive collection of entry and crawl space holes that said rat and his family and friends had chewed through and were now in the process of taking over my home. After my visible "freak out", I am grateful to Gil for calming me down and talking me through everything. He explained that he would be coming with his team to address everything the following Monday (4 days later), and explained thoroughly the process of removal and proofing; including cost breakdown and the 5 year guarantee that his company provides. So, it is worth the cost. In this current 'Covid stay at home' state of affairs, if any of you have this issue in your homes, CALL THEM. They performed the extensive work in two days, and did a fantastic job. While I could go with a standard insulation company to replace the insulation that Gil and his team had to remove, these guys did such a great job that I am going to call on them again to re-insulate my attic. I rarely leave reviews on Yelp unless I am more than satisfied with the level of service and professionalism of a business. I recently moved into a new house and didn't discover that the neighborhood was known to have a rat infestation problem for years. After a while I started hearing some clawing and scratching but after a while they had chewed countless openings on the exterior of my house and there were suddenly TONS of them in my walls. I called out some guys to fix it but not matter what they did, it didn't solve the problem. That's when I came across rodent control and gave them a shot. One of their employees Lee came out to do the initial inspection and he immediately assessed the situation and discovered the problem areas right away that the previews companies missed. He gave me a fair quote and soon after them came out to seal off the entire house and did an AMAZING job. I was able to also get a 1 year warranty if they ever come back and create any future entry points. I would recommend them to any of my family or friends for their rodent issues. Rodent Control Inc. An excellent company! We obtained their service after rats got in our attic. Daniel came to assess the problem and give us a quote. He was professional, knowledgeable, personable and easy to talk to. Gill, Miguel, and the rest of the team were also very professional and friendly. They were respectful of our home and took care to protected the furniture and floors. They were also respectful of our neighbors due to the noise of the vacuum and ended at an appropriate time. We've had a few issues with mice in the house and rats in the basement. It's been a real pleasure working with Tom Kaminski, who is very knowledgeable, realistic, and generous with his assessments to find the best solution. The team arrived soon after the initial inspection and they performed fantastic work. Mario, along with the other technicians, were efficient, thorough and thoughtful throughout the whole process. The crew spent all day covering holes and cracks throughout our basement, roof, around the perimeter of the house, including the attic and interior areas. If you're dealing with a rodent problem, I cannot recommend Rodent Control enough. Sam and his crew were absolutely incredible to work with. After struggling with rats in my home, they completely resolved the issue for me in November, and the difference was unbelievable. They were professional, responsive, thorough, and genuinely cared about making sure the problem was fully handled the right way. Recently, our neighborhood has been invested with mice. We had some in our garage and in our attic. We were desperate to get rid of them, so I called Rodent Control. They immediately got back to me and I scheduled an appointment. Sam spent a lot of time with us and showed us all the areas around our house where mice could get in. It only takes a hole the size of a dime! Soon after our initial appointment we scheduled the team to come out and seal off our house. Unfortunately, this was, without question, the worst contractor experience I've ever had. I found Green Rodent Restoration through Nextdoor after seeing their positive reviews and the mention of potential SCE rebates. Although I later learned I didn't qualify for the rebate, I decided to move forward because the estimate and scope of work made sense. During the attic work, including the insulation installation, my home sustained three separate areas of ceiling damage, including one where a worker stepped completely through the ceiling. When I raised my concerns, the foreman suggested it was because there weren't enough boards in the attic for the crew to walk on. As the homeowner, I hired professionals because I expected they knew how to safely perform this type of work. Before the crew left, I was told the attic fan would need to be rescheduled because of an issue. This only came up after they had already asked me for payment. Had I not pushed back, I believe they would have left without completing a major part of the project. When I questioned it, the foreman was dismissive rather than taking ownership of the situation. What disappointed me most was the lack of respect for my property. The crew shook a blanket full of insulation and debris into my front yard. When Green Rodent Restoration sent a contractor to repair the damage, the experience didn't improve. The contractor used my bathroom without cleaning up afterward, dumped dirty mop water containing soap and debris into my front yard, left drywall dust throughout my home, and I later discovered fresh scrapes on my staircase railing that were not there before. While the ceiling repairs are better than the original damage, they still don't look like a professional finished product. The cleanup and overall attention to detail also fell well below what I expected. In my opinion, Green Rodent Restoration should have had a supervisor or foreman present while the restoration work was being completed to ensure it was done properly. Communication afterward has been equally disappointing, and I have had to follow up repeatedly throughout this process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Green Rodent Restoration. My advice is to take your time, compare several companies, and don't make your decision based solely on reviews or the possibility of rebates. I only wish I had shopped around more before making my decision. Rony was very thorough in explaining the process.

I agreed to the price and they completed the job a day later with his crew of 5 or 6 workers. They were great. Honestly I wasn't expecting these types of quotes from vendors but it's something that has to be done. It's a relief knowing that rats have been eliminated from the home. That was worth the price. It was major work. The insulation in the attic was removed and new material was put in after they thoroughly cleansed the attic. They also covered/repaired all potential openings that lead inside the property. They will continue doing follow-ups for the next month or so (This was done yesterday by Francisco). I really like their 2 year warranty. If any issues come up they will come and inspect. Good luck.
