A year ago I left a review. The frustration was related to long wait times. After having several services here.. I have more to say. I noticed improvement in the check in wait times. If your spot is at 10, you are likely to be in by 11. So, within an hour. However, I disagree with everything else. It's nice staff are kind. It's clean. But the annual exams and cleanings are VERY surface level. I mean they literally just take X-rays and brush your teeth. One time they flossed and the next semi annual they didn't... and the technician doesn't actually push the floss between the teeth, rather she just skated the floss on the top. Also, this is the first place I've ever been that does imaging, dentist comes in and does an "exam" aka looks with her flashlight (while talking to the staff about the next 3 rooms she's going into see because she's the only one) and THEN you have your teeth brushed. There is no real cleaning, scaling, or root planing of your teeth. Dentist doesn't review any of that anyways or she would know her techs aren't even flossing the gum line. How could she? She comes before the cleaning is done. Now, I've had a few fillings here. 1st filling I was pre numbed with gel, then given the injection, and so forth. The next time I was told they don't do the gel numbing. 3/4 fillings have had long term pain and sensitivity after. Same thing with husband. He cannot chew on that side due to sensitivity. 1 of my fillings were between teeth and the filling is bridged so I can no longer floss because it's literally closed. When this was brought up, I was told to purchase a water flosser. Lastly, this is a place that advertises for children and pediatrics. My daughter who is 7 has some dental anxiety. The staff did not know how to handle it or address it. The dentist came in and said "what- do we need laughing gas for a simple cleaning??". We are lucky to finally have different insurance and we will certainly be going elsewhere. read more

The waiting area is a madhouse of video game noise and scampering children. Cartoons play on a TV mounted on the wall. There's typically only one actual dentist there who rotates around through at least 4 chairs at a time, always harried and overworked. On many occasions I've had to wait at least an hour after my appointment time before being seen. I've even called ahead to ask if they are overbooked, that doesn't help. If you go in for a cleaning it will be just a minimal polishing. They hire dental 'technicians' to do that work, not actual hygienists, so they aren't allowed to scrape anything off your teeth. It's a cut-rate operation and sometimes you get what you pay for. read more

First off, i'd like to say the front desk staff is great. HOWEVER; Each time my children have an appointment here, it is WELL past our scheduled time. Our last visit, we waited 45 minutes in the waiting area, and then they called us back, did my child's weight/height, and X-ray's-then proceeded to tell me that we would have to go back into the waiting area bc there is no room available for us. We waited an additional 10 more minutes and decided to leave. read more

Called to schedule an appointment and the lady was so rude. She asked me about 5 times if I had insurance after I had told her I did every time. Couldn't give me any kind of pricing or estimate on the cost of what I am needing done. Didn't appreciate her being so rude as I was trying to get an appointment scheduled. I could not wait to leave this review. Should've listened to everyone else, but I thought, "this is such a quick simple procedure they couldn't possibly screw it up." I made an appt to get my lower retainer cemented again because the wire came loose on the right side. VERY simple, requiring a simple replacement of dental cement. That is it. Period. I waited for AN HOUR AND 11 MINUTES to be called back and they tell me an x ray is necessary. Now, keep in mind dentists should only require x rays when necessary due to radiation exposure. I am not comfortable with that because I don't need an x ray for this simple procedure. They argue with me and say it is required and I say I may be pregnant. They then tell me they need a letter from my dentist from the last 6 months saying I don't have any cavities to forgo the x ray. Keep in mind this dental cement is on my front right canine and it is clearly evident that I don't have a cavity. Absolutely ridiculous. I could not recommend this dentist/ortho less. On top of that, it is absolute pandemonium in the waiting room. Clearly geared toward kids, but felt more like a McDonald's playplace. So loud I could barely hear the receptionist at the front. The heat was not on and it was snowing outside; a visible crack in the front doors letting in cold air. What the receptionist told me would take 10 minutes took an hour and 11 minutes of wasted time for me. Do not go here. Fix your policies if you own this business. read more

Terrible place of business. Been going here for Ortho since Aug 2024 haven't had any issues until now! I was paying a certain amount then all of a sudden my payment is doubled. Claiming that my insurance has changed. Nothing has changed. I'm just suppose to pay the extra ummmm no. The business office DO NOT pick up their phone. The employees make no sense explaining things. Zero stars...my son was scheduled to have a cavity fixed today for 10am. They told us nothing to eat or drink after midnight last night. They told us the anesthesiologist missed a flight and there would be a delay. Three hours later and they still didn't even start. Who knows what time they would have actually helped us...my son is literally sitting there starving. Why wouldn't you use common sense and reschedule us??? We would have much preferred that over waiting for literally nothing. Literally some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Please don't go to this dental group! Worst experience EVER! Let's start with making the appointment. The staff is nice enough but do not communicate with each other. I got call after call after call to confirm my appointment. However, you cannot ever reach them when you return the call, just voicemail and constant phone tag. The visit...they took every X-ray they could possibly take. The 360 X-ray, bite wings...several times. You know, everything they could bill for! Then! The dentist comes in for 3 minutes to tell me there is nothing he can do for my teeth and I'll need to see a specialist....ok, I figured that. However, said specialist they use isn't 'in-house', I'll need to make an appointment to return. Ok, how long will that be? Oh, just 7 weeks, 'He only comes here every 2 months and was just here last week'. Made the appointment for 2 months out. THEN! Then I get a call the week before the appointment to let me know, the appointment will now be virtual, not on my original appointment day or time, but they'll call me back to reschedule. What the actual FUCK?!? A virtual dentist appointment for some very serious teeth issues?!? SERIOUSLY?!? Cancelled the appointment, chick on the phone could care less how inappropriate and unprofessional this situation has become. Called my insurance for assistance...just to find out that these chuckleheads have been paid for ALL those X-rays, but they provided absolutely no services! Not one! Except to waste my time and insurance benefits! Save your time, money and insurance benefits for a REAL dentist! This place is not it! The treatment coordinator Nadine called me for the first time at 630 pm on Halloween, and I missed the call. Her voicemail warned me if she did not hear back from me by 12 pm the next day she would cancel my child's appointment. I called back to speak with her and got no answer. I called again first thing this morning (they open at 9 am) and was told she would get back to me. I received no call, so called again at 11 am and was told again she was busy. It is an unbelievable lack of regard for client's time to call right before close and give a 3 hour window to refer back--and then ignore attempts to call back. My advice is to take your money and your child elsewhere, where staff are more organized and available for you. Their lack of respect for time speaks volumes for how this clinic runs their business. read more

Want to talk about a dishonest place? Well here we go. Walking in, the lobby is pretty cool with all the old school arcade games and graphics everywhere. But take away the flash and focus on the actual dentistry. I went in to have all 4 wisdom teeth taken out. Now I'm not a kid but this is where my insurance told me to go and they didn't act like it was a problem but then the surgeon starts making smart remarks about my age. Making it seem like I was stupid for waiting until my 20s to have my wisdom teeth out. Which by the way even if you have insurance is expensive which is why I had to wait. The guy was rude but I could forget that if he hadn't literally fractured my facial bones while taking my teeth out and nobody said a word. I was awake the entire procedure so it's not like I missed anything and could tell something was wrong but I'm a pretty chill patient so wasn't gonna say anything. Ended up in the ER days later and that's how I found out he broke my face. So don't go here. Don't trust this company. read more

Terrible experience didn't even get to make it into the actually appointment without issues made an appointment over 2 months in advance only to call a week ahead and then not even have a time for my appointment ready and to be told I now need additional things from my referring dentist and then to be on the phone fighting with them for the whole week over them not knowing how to to their jobs and being told we will accept one of your insurances but we are having to put a last minute prior auth in for the other not even 2 days before the appointment that mind you was scheduled 2 months in advance and then it's oh well we don't take your other insurance anymore on the last business day before my appointment so your appointment is tentative until we get authorization from your other insurance when I'm on the phone with said insurance saying they don't have to put a prior auth in the can do a retro auth overall terrible practice and very unprofessional and undertrained. read more

The staff at Rodeo Dental is amazing! My son was seen by Olivia, Austin, and Dr. Flin during a very stressful time of family crisis causing my son to have an anxiety attack during his procedure. These staff members treated him very kindly by discussing his interests, coping skills, and monitoring his reactions. Never have I experienced a dental office taking this kind of care or spending this amount of time with a patient to ensure comfort and safety of a patient. I have 4 children and they all come here for their dental needs. I have never had a issue! I love the staff. They are amazing and keep it lively in the office. My kids love the games and the movie room. I as a mother want my children to feel safe and confident with getting any dental work done. And this is the place for that.
