Wednesday special is half off cheese fries! Both surprise (chili) and no surprise. It's a huge portion with bacon and cheese and jalapeños and it comes with a side of ketchup and 2 of ranch! They aren't cheap with ranch! Hubby ordered the chaca Oaxaca burger and gave it a solid 4/5 it had cheese, pico, an egg, everything yummy jammed into every bite! It was super affordable and we will probably be back!

Nanny goat burger and Rattlesnake Margarita and HAND PUNCHED FRIES

The restaurant was very cute inside. The rattlesnake margarita was delicious and strong! My nanny goat burger was delicious. It was very rich with the goat cheese and garlic mayo, but I enjoyed it! Server was friendly and helpful.

Interesting burger selections, the choices do not fail your taste buds. All sides are ala carte so bill adds up quickly. Good cold drinks and luckily learned about MOONTANG. Finish off the meal with Goat Balls, enough to share while dipping in the magical berry jam. Good place, fun decor.

STEAMING PILE

We had a party of 10 and we were able to find two tables back to back. Our server was very friendly. The Ozmosis burger was phenomenal. I was a bit unsure of the steaming pile but it was very good, messy but good. My husband's go to order is the avocado salad.

You may see a name such as Rodeo Goat on your apple maps and be a little confused. What you don't realize is that you are entering a sacred space of burger. Chloe gave us a magnificent solo rendition on the harmonica of a piece known as "Happy Birthday". You may have heard of it. My friend and I split the two competing burgers this month, "The Big Tex" and "The Sundance Kid" and enjoyed them immensely. The burgers are super unique and I guarantee there is something you haven't tried. The atmosphere is very GOAT-y and cozy. The whole restaurant feels like a family and we all love goats. The beauty of the rodeo goat is not in the goat itself. It's found in the memories, conversations, tastes, and friends you make along the way. The Goat, is simply the guide, and he is the GOAT.

A last minute date at Rodeo Goat with my wife made for a pleasant surprise, albeit quite messy dinner. It's been open almost a year now in the old location where a Cajun place was, next to BJ's and across the street from Chuy's. The complex list of burgers can be a little overwhelming, but my wife felt like the closest thing to a normal cheeseburger with mustard on it was the DCC, which we found out stands for Denton Country Club. Thick tomato cuts, pickles and mustard highlight this gem. Very great flavors but, fair warning, if you try to cut it in half it could just become a mess. I ordered the Chaka Oaxaca burger which features a chorizo mixed burger with a fried egg on it. Concept is fantastic because egg on a burger is one of my favorites and it comes with chipotle mayonnaise on it as I prefer mayo over mustard. Was a fantastic burger with a couple of downsides though. The egg was busted prior to arriving to me so the yolk had dripped down the bread to the bottom, which then made it the bun sticky and actually peel off on my fingers (eeeewww). Again makes for a mess man those thick chunks of avocado pair so well with the chorizo burger....but as advertised it's definitely a fiesta in your mouth. Those two burgers with a side of fries came to about $31 and my they check out on a hand held device so my wife said she left 20% to the very friendly and helpful waitress. No matter what people say, it always helps if the staff are smiling and appearing as if they are happy to have you dined with them. Never gets old. While not a fan of messy burgers that can fall apart, the flavor and service is well worth it...

SADDLE UP! Burger

Always a good experience at this place. FYI it is seat yourself, and then a server will come take care of you. Kade was awesome. Each month they have a burger battle with two specials of the month. I ordered the Saddle Up! And the bacon was almost like a steak (thick cut!) Only call out is fries/chip/etc are NOT included and are à la carte. Their rewards program is great as well. If you go 2-3x you'll get some sort of reward. They also have multiple ways to pay. QR code on the receipt, regular card/cash, and also the chip reader they'll bring to the table. They are also great about large groups too.

Walked in and were seated on the patio fairly quickly (it's heated, very comfortable temp). Our waitress Jamie was quick to come get our drink order and explain the menu speedily efficiently. We ordered the Norah Jones and the Bodacious and we ordered some sweet potato fries that are shareable. Both burgers were hot, huge, and delicious! Bursting with flavor.. only minor disappointment was the sweet potato fries, weren't as crunchy as I'd prefer but still good flavor! Next time I'll try the regular fries and see how they compare. I will be back again!

Food was just ok. No drink refills, fries were old and cold. Burger was just ok. For the money, I would not try this restaurant.

The burger and cheese fries were fantastic! Cool environment, as well. Good place to grab a meal and a beer before grabbing a movie.

Great specialty hamburgers. Limited menu selection and pricey. Might go back, but have had burgers just as good at other places.

Horrible service. No silverware, no napkins, no refills. Waiter didn't come back once to ask if we needed anything. Don't go.

It took 40 minutes for 2 hamburgers and my wife's vegan burger arrived cold. The table next to us had similar issues.

The burgers are gourmet and may not always appeal to some people with a basic burger desire. It is not your typical burger joint. The burgers are definitely not the same old style burgers. The burger meat is good but it is the toppings that make… Read more

My partner in food wanted to try the King Kong against my better judgment. Looking at the photos, it didn't appear conceivable - to make matters worse, he wanted it to go! It came deconstructed. Four HUMONGOUS beef patties and probably a whole pound of bacon and beautifully melted cheddar. The bun was questionable, mostly because it was nowhere near enough bread for all that meat, but I get it, in a challenge situation, I wouldn't want to load up on bread. The patties were well seasoned and firm. I would have preferred medium, but since I was sharing, well done was fine. Not over done and still juicy. It also came with a container full of steak fries! I admittedly put a hurting in the fries, dipping them in the house ranch mixed with the jalapeño ranch. I wanted the fries to be crispier and the ranch to be thicker, but they were delicious nonetheless!! So how much of it did we finish?? I finished one patty with out bread!! My partner finished one and a half patties with sandwich bread. The bun got designated to my leftover patty. Tomorrow's lunch will be a single patty burger with half a pound of bacon!

The food looked great when it came out -- generous portions and nice presentation -- but the flavor didn't quite live up to the visuals. The burger patties were cooked through but a little dry, and the seasoning was pretty mild. The mushroom and onion topping added some flavor, but the bun felt a bit soggy halfway through. The cheeseburger was fine, but nothing that really stood out. The chili dog had plenty of chili and cheese on top, but the chili itself was a bit bland and heavy. The fries were thick and crunchy at first, but cooled off quickly and lost their crisp. They tasted more like frozen fries than fresh-cut. Service was polite and friendly, though the wait for food felt a little long considering it wasn't busy when we came in. The place has a laid-back, old-school diner vibe, which is nice in theory, but the inside could use a little refresh. It's not bad if you're nearby and craving a burger, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

This is going to be a bit long so please sit with me…read more When I was a graduate student at UNT I loved going on hiking adventures in the city. One day I decided to walk from my apartment on Bonnie Brae and Prairie all the way over to TWU, it was a lovely spring day I wanted to get the steps in. Upon walking into Burger Time Machine you are hit with the smell of delicious. If you don't know what that smell is you need to go to Burger Time Machine. On my first visit I had the Star Trek and I was hooked. During the remainder of my time at UNT I ate at Burger Time Machine once a week and have eaten every single burger on the menu. While I was in school it got to the point where the staff on Fridays knew me and I loved it. It was a very great mission I took on to eat every single burger but with a 6 mile round trip from my apartment to Burger Time Machine I felt like eating their was alright. I had to move for a job and then went back with my partner and she also says we need to go visit Denton so we can do Jazz Fest and other great Denton things, but we both know it's to eat at Burger Time Machine. If you're getting kind of fast food burgers / fast casual burgers / etc. at any other restaurant in Denton, you are doing a disservice to yourself. You should eat there and be happy that you live in Denton Texas and that you're able to eat at Burger Time Machine.

With the…read morevintage movie posters on the walls, college kids writing formulas on the walls, an arcade, pool table, and picnic-table-style seating, it has a fun after-school hangout vibe. For lunch, I ordered the #9 Love Affair burger combo with sweet potato fries and added a side of onion rings. The sweet potato fries came in a good portion, which I appreciated. The onion rings, though, were $3.99 for only 6 rings, and that did not feel like a good value. The burger patty itself was the perfect thickness and cooked well, but it had almost no flavor on its own. The only real flavor came from the add-ons I chose, which were egg and pineapple jam. Because of that, the overall flavor just did not match the $22 price tag for lunch. Cool local vibe, decent presentation, but for the price, I expected a lot more flavor.
