    The hotel Rodeway Corona Ca
    Ingrid D.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in my life. Around 12 AM a woman came to our door a hit in a very rude way the door, she kicked it very strongly and upset like crazy. We got scare because we didn't know what was happening. She just asked us to open the door. We called the police. The police never came we ask in the front desk to come to our room or give us another room at least. I asked the manager to come and talk with us they say yes. They will come in 10 minutes and he never show up, we called three times and they never show up. So that night was horrible we couldn't sleep well. You don't know what kind of aggressive and crazy people are staying in this kind of hotel. We thought that it will be a quite and nice place. Do not is stay in this hotel

After reading the reviews and looking at the price, I expected something less than good. Entering the lobby, there was someone who cared working behind the desk. I showed him the Booking.com Passbook card, and he found my reservation, mentioning something about the computer being down earlier. My timing was good for once? I reserved two rooms, and he put them as close together as possible, with one room between us. The price came out to what I expected. I mentioned something about being concerned that they would give away our reservation, and he said "sometimes, it gets busy on the weekend", which didn't actually deny that they give away reservations, if they have a paying guest in the lobby vs. someone on the road. Be careful! I didn't see the two queen-sized beds rooms but they said it was really good and the king-sized bed room is good, although I haven't tried the bed yet. There are no extra six-legged guests in the room, and it seems to have been refurbished a few years ago, with a kind of marble you'll see in many motels now, even surrounding the bathtub. They have included a desk and little table for two, as well as a dresser that holds the refrigerator, but it only has an empty space for a microwave oven. Don't expect an ironing board or iron or even a hair dryer. but the room looks good and for $58.99 (or $65.99 for the 2 queen-sized beds), it's a good deal. Parking is difficult. We're parked at the back end of the motel, while the rooms are more central, near the swimming pool.

Our room was VERY clean, the tables, the floor, the corners, the bed! The hard floors and tile are so much more sanitary than carpet; our feet never got dirty nor did our white socks. We wiped out the jacuzzi before using it but there was no need to do so, again VERY clean. Endless hot water too! The bed was very comfy, supportive yet cushy. The Sunday evening clerk, Christopher, was very helpful and kind. I've got nothing to say about the Monday morning clerk though =/. My ONLY complaint is about a GUEST who parked illegally in the handicapped spot I wanted to park in; yes I am disabled. They said they'd "only be a minute" but never again came out to their car. It was parked there all night and into Monday. A decrepit vehicle, totally smashed in, full of little barking dogs. NO sign of LICENSE plate anywhere, let alone a disability parking permit. Oh, I remember, I CAN say one thing about the Monday morning clerk: he did not seem to care one bit that there was someone parked there illegally and my asking him for assistance to get my bags out to my car was a joke, yeah, no, too busy to help me.

I stayed here from September 4th and checking out on the 9th. First off all, the staff is friendly and outgoing. I assume their pool is great due to how active it is during the day, the rooms were clean and tighty, however, September 7th I let house keeping come clean the room while I was working, only to come back to the room still being clean except the new sheets and towels. There is a huge stain on the sheet and burn marks, either what seems to be blood or a burn mark on the new towels. Pillows weren't clean like when I first got here(which I don't mind due to me being the only one sleeping on them. I guess all I can say now is I suggest brand new sheets and towels due to being used over the past years. Overall, it's decent

As much as I love Yelp I really try and stay away from this place when it comes to finding hotels. Once I see a picture of some bug or dirty sheets that's all I can think about and I can't move past the fact that the picture might be 2 years old and the hotel might have done a 100% make over. Rodeway Inn & Suites gets a 2.5 stars on Yelp and if I'd known that I might have just slept in my car. The thing is this place isn't all that bad. For $65 we had a very large room with standard but good amenities. I didn't run a black light over it but our king size bed seemed clean and was comfy. We had fresh towels and the bathroom, although in need of some minor upgrades was clean with great water pressure. We had a large TV, mini refrigerator and a microwave...you can't beat that for such a cheap rate. The guy at the front desk was nice. We were able to park our RV along the wall of the hotel and when I had to call because we were running late getting back to check out they didn't give us any trouble, so we decided not to pack up ended up staying a 2nd night. I don't know about any other Rodeway Inn but I'd stay at this one again.

This hotel is seriously very dirty! We stayed here for 2 nights and requested the sheets to be changed the first night because we saw weird colored stains, pieces of hair, tears, We came back the 2nd night and the sheets were not changed! They claimed that they changed the sheets!!!! How dare they lie! We went to the front desk that night and asked them what the hell was going on and they didn't react. This is clearly a normal thing for them! The rep said he would be up to our rooms to change our sheets, we wait 10 min and no one came. Went back downstairs and the rep said that they guy who said he was going to come up to the rooms have alread left!!! The guy that was left said that he can give us our sheets and we can change them ourselves. WHAT IN THE WORLD!!?! Who changes their own sheets at a hotel. So we take the sheets and see that the news ones he provided hair stains, tears, holes and writing on them as well! We just took the hit for the night because this was already 1am! The rep told us that the manager was going to be in the next day so we really wanted to talk to this guy. We went to the front desk the next morning and he NEVER SHOWED UP. The reps in the front are liars so do not trust them. I obtained the number from the rep and told him that I would call back and follow up. Called the hotel again an hour later and the front desk rep started being rude saying that the manager doesn't wanna talk?!?! Now all of a sudden he doesn't want to address the issue? Beware of this business and do not stay here! Spend your money somewhere else and save yourself the hassle!!!!

My MIL always says we should stay in their house but having two toddler boys and a 10yr old boy is madness at times. This is the best way to contain them lol. The rooms are equipped with a wet bar and sink in the living area and then a shower and toilet in the bathroom with the sink and vanity separately (at the foot of the bed). This is probably my only gripe cause its impossible use the vanity area without disturbing everyone. The gym is clean and 24hrs. The pool is clean and kids like it which helps in the heat of the desert. It would be nice if they offered a little more of a customer service style room service though. Makes it a little challenging when it's 11pm and you need something like pillows, towels or TP and have to go to the front desk yourself with little ones. The lobby has some pretty good munchie food to get you through the night since there isn't a kitchen service. Ot the healthiest options, but definitely comes in clutch! Staff is and has always been nice, professional and helpful. The overnight shift is probably not used to a lot of customer interaction but they are pretty patient with me and my late night energy and munchy needs lol.

Instead, it was one of the most stressful and irritating experiences I've had in a long time. I had the most unrestful sleep imaginable. The guests in the room above us were constantly stomping and blasting their TV. I called the front desk to ask them to intervene, but absolutely nothing was done about it. The issues started before I even arrived. Two days prior, I called to confirm my booking and was told everything was set. When I called again right before arrival, I was suddenly told my booking didn't exist. Though they eventually found it, it left me incredibly uneasy. When I finally arrived--exhausted and desperate to lie down--it took nearly 25 minutes of total confusion. The two older ladies at the front desk explicitly stated they didn't know how to check me in, leaving us just standing there. Also, the second floor hallway had a pungent, powerful marijuana odor permeating from outside of the rooms. To make matters worse, breakfast both mornings was barely lukewarm. The entire dining area was completely disorganized, and the staff seemed utterly confused about what they were supposed to be doing. From the messy administrative errors to the lack of basic noise control and cold food, the customer service here is entirely lacking. If you are looking for a peaceful, restful stay, look elsewhere. Tonight I was not happy with the costumer service through the manger Amber. I booked the most expensive room here. I'm staying in the king suite room suit 426 . I'm staying here with my kids and husband. The pull out bed is way smaller than I anticipated and my kids did not want to share the bed. My son 13 and my daughter 9 clearly didn't want to share this TINY pull out so my daughter decided to sleep on the little lazy boy side of the couch. I called house keeping for more blankets and sheets for my daughter and 1 more pillow. The housekeeping line was busy so I called the front desk and was told to come get my linens. What's housekeeping for if I'm doing their job? Amber the oh so lovely manger advised they could only accommodate us with one pillow because they are so busy and can't give anymore out. That is where I'm bugged and having an issue. As a frequent guest i am not thrilled with Amber at all. As a hotel there should be plenty of pillows, there is NO REASON Why they should only be giving me one pillow. Other then the Bs from this stay the breakfast here is phenomenal, they have a later then usual check out which my family and I love because we are NOT morning people. The hotel is clean, the staff is ok, the pool area is clean and they alpha r a cool basketball court that most hotels do not have. It's near many restaurants/fast food chains and supermarkets so no worries about having to travel far. Parking lot doesn't look too big but was occupied by many cars already though there were still a few parking spaces available. The lobby is clean and open with a water dispenser with lemon slices. I was hoping to refill my water bottle but there's a sign that says to not do that but rather use the plastic cups to the side if you want water. There are 3 floors but ONLY 1 elevator and it's slow. Faster to walk the stairs though its located on either end of each floor. Imagine the hotel busy and waiting for the elevator. Eeek. The hallway and stairways are clean. Our room with 2 Queen size beds is a decent size though a little narrow eith limited walk space. There is a long bench to put your luggage(s) on or for you to sit on. The back wall where the bench is there are square hooks to hang your purse or clothing items. There is a small dresser part of the desk and a small closet/armoire with somw hangers, iron and an iron board. There are many dimmed lights options within the room. There are switches under the TV, by the bed stand, and 1 by the closetn but I like the table light (3 settings) better to act as night light as its dimmer and doesnt brighten up the room. The bathroom is very spacious. The tub has a grip mat to prevent falling and there are complimentary Dove brand hair care and hand wash & lotion. The water pressure is strong and the hot water is hot! What I like is that there is a bathroom fan that is strong enough to suck away the moist after a shower. It's loud but it does its function. Most hotel rooms don't even have the fan. The bed is good, not great. Not soft but not firm. The pillows though are very fluffy. I like that the linens are clean and pretty white as I did not see any stains. Complimentary breakfast is good though I wish they had bacon on the weekends as they only had it on Friday. The rest of the weekend was turkey or pork sausages instead. There's a variety of hot breakfast (scrambled eggs, cheese egg Omelette, bacon, sausages, biscuit and gravy) options with bread, english muffins, muffins and including a pancake machine. They also have a small fridge with Oikos yogurt (strawberry/ blueberr/vanilla flavors), organic valley milk )regular/chocolate milk), and SILK brand milk with a juice machine. A coffee station is available all day including a basket of fruits (apples/bananas/oranges) on the table for you to grab. The eating area is small though I didn't experience any issues with getting a table during my 4 days/3 nights there. Service at the front desk is good though my interaction was to request a pool towel only. My husband managed the check in and check out but he didnt complain so I guess all is good. The gated outdoor swimming pool & hot tub area is small with a few lounge chairs and 2 tables. But good enough for little kids to enjoy during their stay. I would definitely return to this hotel if our hockey tournament requires us to. It it kind of farther to the rink where we have to be compare to another hotel where we usually stay.

The location is right off the 91 so it's centrally located to wherever you're going in Riverside. The two places for improvement would be (1) for them to have more non-pork options for breakfast (turkey bacon at least) and (2) addressing some of the rooms which showed notable signs of age and wear--particularly the bathrooms (sink, shower). I would take off half a star but yelp only allows whole stars. So it's either a 4 or 5. Quite frankly, I think the customer service a hospitality outweighs a few cosmetic issues in the vanity. So 5 stars it is! Besides, they appeared to be renovating several of the rooms so I trust they will have them all done by the next time we come. What we liked about this location was that the room was spacious and clean, the AC worked well and kept us cool, the bathroom products were nicer, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast foods were good. This site has an interesting layout for a two queen room; the bar counter area separates the two beds in a way that makes each bed not visible to the other when laying down; this would be highly appealing for individuals who want a bit of privacy and are sharing a room. Additionally, this is an excellent location for bringing a dog since they do not overcharge, and they have reasonably good pet relief areas. What we did not like about this location started at check in. Our check in person was not friendly or warm; she spoke in somewhat of a monotone, rehearsed way and did not answer the one important question we asked about the EV chargers. Of all eight stays, this was the least friendly check in. We also did not like that there was a fee to use the EV chargers; no other location charged for what is a very low expense to offer customers. Since we have free charging through Tesla, we added an extra stop to get the charge needed to continue on our journey. This was less convenient. Also, loading and unloading on the ground floor was made challenging by having long railing (the first floor is higher than the parking lot level) along the front, exterior accessed doors. Overall, I would recommend this site again only if you do not need to charge your EV, have a dog, and do not mind checking in with a person who is not happy to be there.
