This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in my life. Around 12 AM a woman came to our door a hit in a very rude way the door, she kicked it very strongly and upset like crazy. We got scare because we didn't know what was happening. She just asked us to open the door. We called the police. The police never came we ask in the front desk to come to our room or give us another room at least. I asked the manager to come and talk with us they say yes. They will come in 10 minutes and he never show up, we called three times and they never show up. So that night was horrible we couldn't sleep well. Mr Patel took my money for a one night stay and refused to give me the room I paid for! This would have been my 2nd stay at this cheaply and poorly run hotel. It hasn't been updated since it was built. The WiFi sucks and the TVs HDMI PORTS are LOCKED as well as being the cheapest TVs money can buy. What was Mr Patel's choice? The worst hotel i've ever stepped foot into and i didn't even last 30minutes in it. We drove 6-7hrs from SJ just to get there and have it nothing like the pictures at all. Everything from the ceiling to the floor was dirty as hell. The whole room smelled like a smoker's home and we even switched to the non-smoking rooms. The bed linens were horrible, dirty, ripped up, cigarette burns in it, stains all over them, especially on the pillows that didn't even have cases on them. We went back out to hopefully get a refund because we could not stand to stay there anymore, and he said that since we got here late at night and have been there for awhile (got there at 7:30, leaving at 8) that he would have to charge us for a night's stay. Okay whatever, it's been 5 days now and we still have not received a single refund like we were supposed to, of around $300. Do not stay here, even if it's last minute you will dread it. After reading the reviews and looking at the price, I expected something less than good. Entering the lobby, there was someone who cared working behind the desk. I showed him the Booking.com Passbook card, and he found my reservation, mentioning something about the computer being down earlier. My timing was good for once? I reserved two rooms, and he put them as close together as possible, with one room between us. The price came out to what I expected. I mentioned something about being concerned that they would give away our reservation, and he said "sometimes, it gets busy on the weekend", which didn't actually deny that they give away reservations, if they have a paying guest in the lobby vs. someone on the road. Be careful! I didn't see the two queen-sized beds rooms but they said it was really good and the king-sized bed room is good, although I haven't tried the bed yet. There are no extra six-legged guests in the room, and it seems to have been refurbished a few years ago, with a kind of marble you'll see in many motels now, even surrounding the bathtub. They have included a desk and little table for two, as well as a dresser that holds the refrigerator, but it only has an empty space for a microwave oven. Don't expect an ironing board or iron or even a hair dryer. but the room looks good and for $58.99 (or $65.99 for the 2 queen-sized beds), it's a good deal. Parking is difficult. We're parked at the back end of the motel, while the rooms are more central, near the swimming pool. read more

This place is very dirty and in a bad neighborhood. Vomit was on the floor near the entrance. The front desk attendant was rude and unhelpful. I booked through a third-party company which booked the wrong room. I tried to explain to the front desk attendant, he did not care and tried to up, charge me to get the right room. The attendant lied to the third-party company and told them that I was staying in the room and he would not give me a refund. I refuse to check into this room due being booked into the wrong room and the level of filth around this facility. I chose to lose $128 and stay at a different hotel rather than stay the night at this dumpy hotel with poor service. I would not stay here. read more

Our room was VERY clean, the tables, the floor, the corners, the bed! The hard floors and tile are so much more sanitary than carpet; our feet never got dirty nor did our white socks. We wiped out the jacuzzi before using it but there was no need to do so, again VERY clean. Endless hot water too! The bed was very comfy, supportive yet cushy. The Sunday evening clerk, Christopher, was very helpful and kind. I've got nothing to say about the Monday morning clerk though =/. My ONLY complaint is about a GUEST who parked illegally in the handicapped spot I wanted to park in; yes I am disabled. They said they'd "only be a minute" but never again came out to their car. It was parked there all night and into Monday. A decrepit vehicle, totally smashed in, full of little barking dogs. NO sign of LICENSE plate anywhere, let alone a disability parking permit. Oh, I remember, I CAN say one thing about the Monday morning clerk: he did not seem to care one bit that there was someone parked there illegally and my asking him for assistance to get my bags out to my car was a joke, yeah, no, too busy to help me. read more

This hotel is awful! The amenities show free continue two breakfast, which includes coffee and tea only. We upgraded to a suite with damaged walls and ripped furniture. The toilet barely flushed, and it was overall filthy inside. The bedding was dirty and had food debris left on it. I stayed here from September 4th and checking out on the 9th. First off all, the staff is friendly and outgoing. I assume their pool is great due to how active it is during the day, the rooms were clean and tighty, however, September 7th I let house keeping come clean the room while I was working, only to come back to the room still being clean except the new sheets and towels. There is a huge stain on the sheet and burn marks, either what seems to be blood or a burn mark on the new towels. Pillows weren't clean like when I first got here(which I don't mind due to me being the only one sleeping on them. Wow, this place had all the bells and whistles of a Quentin Tarrentino film. Everything from blood stains on the sheets to what seemed to be tear stains on the pillows. The room smelled like an month old ashtray circa 1920's so we asked to move to what we thought would be a better smelling room but that came with a catch. There was hair in the sheets that seemed to be torn out rather than naturally shedded but I think the real highlight was the ambient sound of domestic abuse coming from next door. A crying woman and screaming man were then met by police and a ferocious drug dog at 3:45 am but it turned out they were just fighting although the dogs picked up what was probably a meth lab because the hauled two other guys out in handcuffs in a totally unrelated report. As much as I love Yelp I really try and stay away from this place when it comes to finding hotels. Once I see a picture of some bug or dirty sheets that's all I can think about and I can't move past the fact that the picture might be 2 years old and the hotel might have done a 100% make over. Rodeway Inn & Suites gets a 2.5 stars on Yelp and if I'd known that I might have just slept in my car. The thing is this place isn't all that bad. For $65 we had a very large room with standard but good amenities. I didn't run a black light over it but our king size bed seemed clean and was comfy. We had fresh towels and the bathroom, although in need of some minor upgrades was clean with great water pressure. We had a large TV, mini refrigerator and a microwave...you can't beat that for such a cheap rate. The guy at the front desk was nice. We were able to park our RV along the wall of the hotel and when I had to call because we were running late getting back to check out they didn't give us any trouble, so we decided not to pack up ended up staying a 2nd night. I don't know about any other Rodeway Inn but I'd stay at this one again. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights and requested the sheets to be changed the first night because we saw weird colored stains, pieces of hair, tears, We came back the 2nd night and the sheets were not changed! They claimed that they changed the sheets!!!! How dare they lie! We went to the front desk that night and asked them what the hell was going on and they didn't react. This is clearly a normal thing for them! The rep said he would be up to our rooms to change our sheets, we wait 10 min and no one came. Went back downstairs and the rep said that they guy who said he was going to come up to the rooms have alread left!!! The guy that was left said that he can give us our sheets and we can change them ourselves. WHAT IN THE WORLD!!?! Who changes their own sheets at a hotel. So we take the sheets and see that the news ones he provided hair stains, tears, holes and writing on them as well! We just took the hit for the night because this was already 1am! The rep told us that the manager was going to be in the next day so we really wanted to talk to this guy. We went to the front desk the next morning and he NEVER SHOWED UP. The reps in the front are liars so do not trust them. I obtained the number from the rep and told him that I would call back and follow up. Called the hotel again an hour later and the front desk rep started being rude saying that the manager doesn't wanna talk?!?! Now all of a sudden he doesn't want to address the issue? I have stayed her 1 time before and chose it because My family lives 5 mins away. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I would give it a 2 out of 5. The toilet was not working and turns out someone put something in the back of the toilet. Bed was comfy. Stayed there this last weekend and it was horrible. I wish I could give it 0 stars. With in being there for 5 mins, we found cockroaches in the bathroom. We called the first desk and all the said was there were no rooms until tomorrow and would need to come get bug spray. Just use your smartphone as a hotspot, and watch your data usage. - Mini-fridge is great but the tiny "freezer" compartment doesn't keep anything frozen. - Breakfast is mini muffins, fruit, and some juice, but it's not horrible. Just very limited. Despite the cons... this place really isn't horrible. The beds themselves are pretty comfortable. Much better than the Rodeway Inn in Glendale. We stayed here several times due to necessity and it was far better than many local motels, especially the shady Motel 6 nearby with the dishonest manager. read more

I tried to open the window had no screen it so obviously that was unsafe. The outside of the hotel is ok but needs some work done. There was a lipstick stain on one of the towels, a poop streak on the my comforter and my mom and I had blood stains on the sheets. What is wrong with this place??!! It was $110.00 to stay in this room for one night!! Seriously!!! I've never stayed in a hotel with stains on sheets, comforters or towels. Are they too cheap to throw them away or do they just pick them up when people check out and put the towels back on the rack and just re make the beds! Don't stay here! So this reservation was made for this motel due to we were needing a place that would take dogs. I called several times to make sure that yes they did and to make sure that the bed was a good one as a family member had just had back surgery. Well I have to say the bed was NOT comfortable at all, for 4 nights we got little sleep. Then for 2 nights we came back to use the card to get in the room and the attendant somehow did not activate them. So being gone all day, it was just a little frustrating. Then it was an ADA room, so the first night I go to turn on the shower and tried and tried, was afraid to break the fixture, so the lady said, oh this has happened many times, you just need to pull real hard and it will turn on.. Suggestion that you put a little sign near the shower as it being and ADA room, some may have issues with this. Had to ask to have room cleaned, only soap and shampoo given. The hair dryer was right next to the mirror and hard to dry hair with such a short cord. The female attendants were all so nice.....one more thing we heard washing machines and dryers going all night...kind of disturbing when trying to sleep....the heater had a large high pitched sound when the heater was on. If there were more comfortable mattresses to sleep on, we would come back. Good priced!!! read more

Upon check in, we were given a non smoking room downstairs. As soon as we entered the room, we were overwhelmed with the odor of cigarette smoke with an ashtray on the table. Requested another room and was given an upstairs room. The furniture is held up off the floor with cardboard. The carpet is DIRTY - don't walk around with no socks/shoes on or your feet with turn black. There was no stopper in the shower/tub. The microwave is an old 1999 analog microwave. When I requested more towels in the morning from housekeeping, as we were a family of 4 with only 3 towels but no wash clothes, I was told NO! Room 220 is right next to an empty room used by housekeeping for supplies. So each morning it was loud every morning. TV receives 17 channels with no listings available in the room. Wifi signal is very poor. No blow dryer in rooms. Pros: Bed were comfortable but not as pictured on website. No charge for printing items. read more

Pillow cases were stained. Whoever remodeled the place did a horrible job with the granite and carpet as there is holes cracks and missing pieces. Where do I start, the front room chair looked so worn out the pleather was peeling off of the chair,I wouldn't let my dog sit it that chair if I would have brought him. One of the night stand drawers was like a poltergeist moment, I closed the drawer and it slowly started opening by itself, and would not stay closed!!!, I wanted to see what was outside and the window was broken with a big piece of plastic over the window, so I tried calling down to the front desk and my phone would not work at all just a dial tone, tried to turn the tv on and no batteries, no internet connection kept saying there is no internet connection all night until we checked out, Bed sheets were full of holes, bed skirts were stained, The drawers on the dresser were so badly used they were all broken. The ceiling over the bed was damaged and badly stained, there were dead bugs in all the light fixtures over the bed, the refrigerator smelled of rotted food and filthy. Pleeeeese don't stay here!!! Spartan amenities, old facility that had seen its glory days and this particular room 118 had a missing knob to turn on the mini-fridge. The outdoor pool is well maintained and kept very crystal clear. It is ideally located by the 99 freeway on/offramp and just blocks away from the West End Pavilion that fulfills a traveler's unexpected needs like the WalMart grocery store or a quick visit to the laundromat. It is basic but budget friendly with free robust bandwidth wi-fi and that is a big plus for me. read more

The hotel is a typical Rodeway, about 40 years old and in decent condition. The location is conveniently located just off of I-10. The rooms are a little bigger than most budget hotels. The pool was a nice touch for a Rodeway. The overall property is in average condition; a little more TLC might net another star. read more

Should have done more research - paid $75 for the convenience of being close to the hospital my husband is scheduled for an early morning surgery. Asked for a front facing room so we would not be bothered by freeway. Front desk promised we would have a quite room and would not hear anything. I call bullshit on that! Corona is known for the ever going freeway project and it so happens that they are busy tearing up the road and on ramp in front of the hotel. Much noise from the back up peeping and tractor work happening - not to mention the day workers that sound like they are birthing an elephant next door - swear if they throw one more bag against that wall! Let's discuss the room - furniture would be best hauled off to the dump, tiles are missing in the sink area, can attest they do not clean the carpets and forget talking about the yucky bathroom. Only reason I even give it a 2 rating is because our son is a heavy equipment operator whom endures gross over paid hotel rooms and keeps everyone else awake at night. Oh and let's not forget the in room fridge that had a half drank beer in it - must have been a tip for the cleaning crew that never arrives. When we arrived the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately when you book you need to specify a non-smoking room and I did not realize that. I am used to non-smoking being the automatic selection. So that was my fault. When we got to our room it was disgusting to say the least. There were holes in the walls, the room stunk horribly, the floor was filthy and had gum stuck to it, the light over the sink was burnt out (which they said they couldn't fix until morning I told them we would be gone by then and that we expected it to work while we had the room,) There was trash on the sink vanity, and the bathroom door was broken and cracked like someone tried to break into the bathroom while it was locked. We went to the office to ask if they had a cleaner room and they said they had no other vacancies so we asked for our money back so we could stay at a different hotel. Suddenly there was a vacancy after all. We went to our new room and while it was is decidedly better shape, it still was not that clean. There were black footprints all over the floor. It looked like it had never been mopped. We had to wear shoes the entire time, because our feet turned black from how filthy the floor was. The sheets were also stained and torn. The place is in dire need of refurbishment, new linens, and better housekeeping practices. Maybe teach them to sweep and mop a floor. We were expecting better for the price we paid for the room. The hotel is located in a bad part of corona to start. It is definitely overpriced for the quality and area. The carpet is disgusting. We booked a non smoking room for 3 people and we got a smoking room with a king bed and a roll away bed. I had to go to the store and buy candles and air freshener because the room smelled like dog urine and feces. I booked through a hotel site and had to pay for three nights even though we only stayed one. I got up to use the restroom around 3 am the first night and there were cockroaches all over.
