Here I sit, in the dark. No power. Digital phone in the room doesn't work. No power. Went outside to look around. Checked room direct verify key card would work,OK. Unfortunately outside door didn't. Walked rations outside of property to main entrance and waited, and waited until an employee let me in (no ID check). She shows me attached notice when I asked why this wasn't left in room, texted, emailed, or voice mailed to me BEFORE the SCHEDULED power outage, she had no clue (not her job to know). No manager, or anyone that would or should take responsibility. No security for a dark building with no phones. You know, the property wants all my contact info yet don't use it for anything other than advertising. This might have been something to send, mention at check in, tape to room door. Not everyone stops by the front desk. This is a SAFETY issue. I've had problems with this property before and after "boycotting for Five years thought things might have changed. I told her there were dishes in the cabinets and she said she would just let house keeping know to wash them better and my exact comment was " the pots are Dead ass dirty" and she got more offended by the "vulgar" word than her hotel having clean pots for their guest ! As a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member, I was very disappointed with my experience at the Residence Inn Corona Riverside from January 30-January 31. At most Marriott properties, elite members are acknowledged at check-in, thanked for their loyalty, and at minimum offered basic perks like bottled water. None of that happened here. There was no greeting and no acknowledgment of my Gold Elite status, and it felt like pulling teeth to receive any elite benefits. I even had to negotiate for a 1 PM late checkout, when most Marriott properties easily offer the 2 PM late checkout that is supposed to be part of the Gold Elite perks. There was also no room upgrade, and not even a simple hello or goodbye during our interactions. The lack of professionalism and hospitality from the front desk staff throughout the entire stay was noticeable and frustrating. This stay did not meet the standard I expect from Marriott, especially compared to other Residence Inn and Marriott properties that consistently make elite members feel valued. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location. read more

Our experience was 4.5 stars, but rounding up to 5. We stayed one night here in November. The hotel is located in a business park which I liked because it was quieter and didn't have any traffic on a Saturday. The hotel itself is newer and well kept. There's free coffee and water in the lobby, as well as breakfast in the morning. Our room had a small living room and kitchen with full sized refrigerator. There's also a small pickleball court! Two minor cons that I'll mention: when I called the front desk for housekeeping to help with the sofa bed, they said housekeeping was gone for the day (around 9 pm). It wasn't mentioned when we checked in, but we managed to fix up the sofa bed ourselves easily. The other thing I realized in the morning was how thin the walls were. Oddly I never heard anything until early in the morning, but I could hear the guests in the room next to ours talking. Something to consider if you're a light sleeper. Maria the house lady is so amazing and wonderful. Truly, I travel a lot and I also enjoy making friends with the cleaning staff. I just want to say you never know what someone is going through and she talked to me about some similar life experiences. I believe the customer service etiquette with the cleaners makes for so much more of a great stay! Maria is so much more than just her job title! She makes me want to only come here !! I come here often when I go to Glen Ivy, I hope she will still be here. The entire staff is also great too! They always upgrade me! I'm grateful. I was hesitant about this location because it's surrounded by a business park, but that made for convenient and easy parking. The staff were super friendly, super accommodating and always had a smile on their faces. In the past when I've stayed at Residence Inns, there were a lot of children and noise, but this location was pretty quiet except for the train that went by twice each of the 2 nights I was there and the constant hum of the freeway noise but I think if you select a room on the east side, you could avoid it. Complimentary continental breakfast included and an indoor pool. I stayed here alone and It felt pretty safe. Super close and easy to get to the 15 freeway so I'd stay here again. read more

My daughter had a basketball tournament this weekend and we stayed here which was only .45 miles away from the facility. Very surprised to see low reviews for this hotel because we had a great stay. I would advise people not to stay here at Marriott, just this property. The general manager kicked me out for no reason. My boyfriend, who is a vet had a factored foot and went down to the car to get something well he forgot the key, and I hopped in the shower. Right when I got out I had the manager pounding on my door and ordering me out into the hallway in my towel told me my boyfriend prop open the door and it was a security risk I would have to leave. Said that they would refund my money but has not 275.00 I suggest you never stay here as they will find any reason to kick you out. and make you wait for your money. read more

Newly remodeled and very clean. Located kind of in a business district so pretty quiet, some freeway noise but I got used to it. Easy to get to the mall and many restaurants. John at the front desk was very helpful and nice. Our room had a kitchenette and everything was brand new. Took us 30 minutes to get to Disney but 2 hours to get back, but wasn't a terrible drive. My husband and I just stayed here 9/30/23 and LOVED it. The staff is so friendly and professional, just delightful. The hotel and room were clean and well put together. The hotel also offers a free hot breakfast in the mornings. I figured it would be toast and muffins, but it was so much more. Scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, juices, muffins, fruit, cereal- tons of options. They had mimosas available, which I think was only for one day, but still so cool to offer to guests. They have guest laundry, indoor pool (love it), and a gym. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place. read more

This is one of my new favorite hotels in the area. I needed a work retreat to get a lot of work done and it was perfect and quiet. The staff were amazing, especially Sean and Edgar (and lots of ladies!). I was able to print my work docs as needed which was great. And the free breakfast was better than most. I love how the rooms have a desk and a couch with a table, and a small table. And the firepit was awesome to sit at day or night. I would come back for sure when I get the chance! read more

This was my second stay at this hotel, and my experiences were equally satisfying each time. So that's a plus for the consistency. Staff - The staff are very professional and accommodating. They facilitated early check ins and helped with receiving and shipping packages for me. Luis was particularly helpful at checkout. On my first visit he allowed a very late checkout so that I could go to a meeting and come back and change before I went to the airport. The second visit he gave me tape to pack up a huge box, and he contacted Fed Ex for a pickup. Breakfast - It's free, and it's very similar to other free hotel breakfasts. I am not a huge fan in general, but it looked well stocked. I typically grab a bagel and a yogurt and skip the hot offerings. It was a big variety and it was clean and organized. Room - The room was clean and simple. It seemed a little worn, but it's not uncommon. It's not luxurious by any means, but I don't think that's an expectation of a Residence Inn. I probably would have given it 5 stars if the price was cheaper. It's convenient to have a little kitchen area and sitting room, especially a full refrigerator. I didn't have a need for it, since it was a short business trip, but I could see this as a huge plus if I was travelling with my family, or staying for more than a couple nights. Noise/Other - Not an issue at all, it was very quiet. I know the hotel was booked near capacity, but I rarely saw other guests. The eating area was not overcrowded at breakfast (which I have seen at other hotels). The lobby seemed clean and new. FYI - They have free food and drinks a couple nights of the week, but I did not partake. Last tip - have lunch or dinner at Luna across the street (walk there), it's excellent. read more

Because of a water damage issue, I spent a total of 16 days at the Residence Inn. The staff was incredibly welcoming, courteous, personable, and helpful throughout my entire stay. GM Edgar and Assistant GM Shawn were very "visible" and "attentive" in overseeing the seamless daily operations of the hotel. It was quite apparent that both managers displayed high standards in ensuring that guests had an enjoyable and quality experience at the hotel. Both Edgar and Shawn were adept at anticipating and understanding guest needs and training their staff to follow their leads. They were superb "role models." Calling guests "by name" for example, was a personalized and an impressive gesture that they both exhibited. I was particularly "awed" by the ladies at the front desk. Dolores, Heather, Darianne, and Stephanie were very warm, gracious, friendly, and very approachable. They all had excellent interpersonal skills, were conscientious, and each had a great work ethic. It was a joy to consistently see "smiling faces." Heather and Stephanie had additional duties of providing an exceptional "hot" and tasty breakfast each morning. This culinary team is to be commended for constant replenishment of food and on-going "tidying-up" of the food/beverage area. I appreciated the food offerings and the "variety" of options, as well. The high standards in quality and amenities contributed to my comfortable and memorable stay. Even though I did not use the gym facility, the indoor pool, or the tennis courts, I valued the added convenience and enjoyment they bring. My one-bedroom suite was very spacious. This hotel is a total dump. Not what you would expect in a Marriott brand. We stay in hotels over 100 nights per year and this is one of the worst I've ever seen. The rooms were filthy , light in the 2nd bathroom did not work , appliances dented and old, smelly and minimal kitchen utensils. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and that would imply more than one person . We used our own wipes to clean counters and bathroom and it was clear the room had not been cleaned. Dishwasher had standing water at the bottom and would not run. Stove tip could not be used as elements dented and bent. Kitchen had 1 knife and 2 forks and 1 coffee cup even though there were 3 of us. Response from front desk was " we only use pairs ". Well.. it's a 2 bedroom so you know more then 2 people will stay here. Not true since we stay at residence inns across the country and most are very well stocked for long stays. Asked for another clean room and was moved. Not much different than the first room. Same filthy bathroom, doors and countertops. Hardly any glasses or utensils for a long term stay. The light in 2nd bathroom did not work. Asked for more utensils and the light to be fixed. Gave front desk girl Our dirty wipes. This was a Tuesday. No surprise that no one fixed the light. I asked a 2nd time and again , nothing . At checkout 5 days later bathroom light still not fixed. My 86 year old mom had to shower in the dark. Surprised Marriott considers this their property. First and foremost, I've been in Asset Management for over a decade. I have high standards. I review any property (hotels or otherwise) based on the Management, Team and property upkeep. My reviews do not factor in the way guests destroy a place. It's VERY easy to spot the differences. That being said, I am absolutely blown away by the staff and management here. Giovanni? Bravo. Always a smile on his face and he's constantly helping everyone (fellow team members, patrons, etc.). Hannah at the front desk? An absolute joy. The entire team pitches in to keep breakfast orderly, tidy and stocked. Breana (housekeeping)? Above and BEYOND what I'm certain is in her job discription. My toddler choked on food while I was in my room and I had to perform the Heimlich on him (age 3). As a mother? I was mortified. Breana showed up within minutes of my panicked call to the desk for deodorizer and a vacuum. She was right there to help me and didn't have to do half of what she did. And she did it with a smile. I would be pleased to have anyone on this team as a part of my own. My room is clean. No complaints. Stairwells and perimeter of the property is also kept up with; even on a busy weekend. Nelson is a NINJA. This man is all over the place, working HARD to keep the place looking beautiful. Keep it up. Upper management should be so proud of this team. My friend and I chose this hotel for its close proximity to wine-tasting in Temecula and for its affordability. We stayed in a two-bedroom two-bath suite with a kitchenette and had a wonderful time. The rooms had recently been renovated and were comfortable and stylish. Everything was immaculate. Towels were soft and comfy and there was plenty of hot water. The bed was very, very comfortable. Service was just fine. We were given extended check-out time with no problem. The breakfast buffet was decent (make-your-own waffles, oatmeal with fresh blueberries, scrambled eggs, etc.), definitely better than the typical "Continental breakfast" many motels offer. The pool and whirlpool are lovely and impeccably maintained. I had the whole pool area to myself this morning and it was very relaxing. Nice pool towels are offered too. Overall, I'd say this hotel was a pleasant surprise and I'd recommend it as a very good value for the money. read more

Meh, not impressed. I'm a Marriott snob, but I expected more based on the reviews. Checkin was fast and efficient. I was thankful that the manager/supervisor agreed to send a very important fax for me when I checked in. Other than that, I wasn't impressed with this property. The one bedroom suite I had was partially updated; new furnishings in the living area, but an outdated looking kitchenette and smelly appliances. Not sure what that was all about. What made the room feel low budget (IMO) was the sink drain that smelled of fecal matter, the super noisy toilet that ran all night long and wouldn't even stop by shaking the handle, the loud sounding generator outside my 3rd floor window...Andy ghetto neighbors who ran the vacuum twice after 11:00 PM! I called down to the front door to be moved, but Kelly seemed annoyed and wasn't willing to accommodate me that night. No problem. In her defense, I think they were almost at capacity. The last straw was when I woke up in the morning to barking dogs; huge sounding dogs. Thank goodness that Springhill Suites had availability the following days. And boy is it nice! MUCH nicer. I would never recommend this hotel unless you're okay with screaming kids, loud toilets, smelly drains, outside traffic noise, barking dogs in the neighboring rooms (3rd floor) and obnoxiously loud neighbors that the front desk doesn't care to do anything about. This place is terrible. If you're debating between the Residence in and the Spring Hill suites in Corona there is no comparison! The Spring Hill suites is beautiful. It's gorgeously decorated with vibrant colors that are very energetic and provide for an upbeat environment. Also, the front desk attendants are extremely helpful and willing to assist. The computers and printers actually work in the business center here, and the place smells fresh, clean as a whistle. and the best part? You get to have peace and quiet enjoyment in your room. My husband and I have been staying at this hotel for over ten years. Was our getaway when we were dating. Well, this weekend we decided to head over to beat the heat. Let me start off by saying...I would still stay here again. We still really like this place. BUT, for what we paid PLEASE step up your cleaning!!! Our carpets were so stained and disgusting. Pile of hair on the bathroom counter (how do you clean and miss that). So much hair in the shower. It was just dirty! Then, they advertise fast wifi. Not even close. Stayed there for 5 nights and 6 days. Here are the good things about this hotel: - Staff were very friendly - lot of smiling, always said good morning and good evening, etc. (This is the main reason for the 2 stars) - A/C worked very well in the room (it was in the mid 90s all week and the room stayed cool). Only negative here is that we had a 2 bedroom and the 2 rooms and the living room were different temps at all times but not a huge deal - Water pressure in one of the showers was the best I have ever had in a hotel (the pressure in the second bathroom was average for a hotel) -There is a nice little patio area just outside the pool. It is small but there is a BBQ, fire pit, and comfortable seating Here are the things that were not good and even unacceptable: -We checked in on the app at 2:15pm. We were aware that check in wasn't until 4 and after traveling for hours to get to the hotel we walked in at 4:30pm and were told the room wasn't ready - it was still being cleaned. To make this part of the saga shorter they didn't let us in the room until 5:45. When we got to the room a manager and another staff were in the room fixing something - which means the room wasnt actually ready. After another 15 minutes we asked them to leave as we were already late for the first event we were there for. They gave many reasons for the room not being available for 2+ hours after check in time including the fact that even though we checked in on line their hotel and the app dont work well together (this is a Marriott property and we checked in via the Marriott app). We then heard several more excuses including that the room was a long term rental before we checked in and so they were taking extra time to clean it (see below for why that is ridiculous). When we complained we were told they were very sorry, are understaffed, etc. While I realize many places are under staffed, if you cant provide even the basic level of service, then don't take the reservation! In addition, every half an hour or so we would ask the front desk for an update. the woman, while very friendly and apologetic, immediately after saying she would check twice started doing something else while we were standing there waiting for a response. -After waiting the 2 hours to get our room it was NOT actually clean. If I could post the pictures I took I would but there was what appeared to be mold in the bathroom, dust on the table and counters, orange/red spots on the door jam, holes in carpeting, etc. We had other members of our group also complain about lack of cleanliness and were comped a night it was so bad. -Unless you are a deep sleeper or have very good ear plugs, do not stay at this hotel! There is a train that goes by 2-5 times a night and every time it does it blows its horn which means you are woken up 3-5 times every night (of course they don't tell you about this when you are making the reservation) -The "free" breakfast is pretty low quality but that's fairly common for these types of perks. The thing that bothered me was that the juice dispenser had a broken sign on it every day we were there. They had nothing else available to drink with breakfast accept I suppose the milk that was there for the dry cereal. When I asked someone about that they said in the lobby there is coffee and water. Now, while the lobby is connected to the room where the breakfast is served, I would think you would at least put a pitcher of water or something where the food was. Not the end of the world, but not great service. -The beds in the rooms are, seemingly like most of the hotel, old. They are firm yet sink in the middle (again, indicating age). -The toilet in one of our bathrooms had to be flushed twice no matter what you put in it (ie urine or...). The second toilet and shower plugged up midway through our stay. We called down to ask for help and they said someone would be right up. After an hour no one had arrived so I called down and they said they didn't know where maintenance was and would contact them and call me back. After another hour (still not having heard back), I called again and they said maintenance was in the room below me working on a plumbing issue and they would call them, get an ETA, and call me back. I never received a return call. About half an hour later they arrived. -We forgot something at home and since we would be there for a week we ordered something online to be delivered to the hotel. At 10PM, when we didnt get the delivery (that the app said wo be delivered between 1-3pm) we looked it up and the app said it was delivered. We went to the lobby and it was there. Not sure why they didnt think it would be good customer service to let us know it was there? -Several people in our group said the ice makers in their freezers did not work. The front desk was willing to give them bags of ice but of course that means going down 3 flights of stairs when you want ice (and when you are paying for a full kitchen) read more

Stayed here this past Sunday evening when I came in for work and overall had a pleasant stay. The location is easily accessible from the freeway, and is in an area with a several restaurants within walking distance, including 2 right across the street/parking lot. The outdoor bball hoop is a nice touch and from what I could tell, a nice indoor pool and a respectable fitness room (it had a water cooler, which is always a plus in my book). Service at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and when I asked for a water out of the "pantry" area they said it was on the house (not sure if it was bc I was platinum or not). The internet was being worked on when I was getting checked in but was fixed within a couple hours. Room was spacious and about what I'd expect for a Residence Inn. Only minor downside is the traffic noise since it is situated next to the freeways. All in all a positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

Kind of run down and due for a remodel. Stayed there about a month due to my house being repaired. Everything is about 20 plus years old. Beds are bad, carpet old , furniture old, and just not up to a Residence Inn standard. The only reason I give it a 2 star is because the employees were friendly and understanding that the place needs a remodel. Their breakfast not very good and they were always running out of items. Coffee was not properly made most of the time. I would not recommend staying there until after their remodel that is suppose to start around the first part of 2023. read more

The hotel looks great on the outside but once you get into your room it's a different story. The tile and bathrooms were extremely dirty- not due to lack of housekeeping, more like wear and tear, and just being very old. We had cracked tile in our flooring and the carpets looked like they had been there since the 1970's... The quality of the cookware was worse than the dollar store, they were falling apart, the knives didn't work... We stayed here for five weeks due to water damage in our home. It was miserable. The couch is split into two cushions and they wouldn't stay put, so if you sat in the middle of the couch, you ended up on the bed underneath. Very awkward. It was grimy and not what I would expect from a Marriott. I am a Marriott Rewards member and was disappointed. About half the staff were very competent, the others not so much. I had to call the front office to ask for housekeeping to actually clean because they never did a thorough job when they came up. When we checked into the hotel, we were greeted very rudely at the front desk. Our room had old food in the fridge. The internet was also terrible. Even for the upgraded $5 a day internet we only got 30mb download speed... to put that into perspective, our home speed is 400mb. The stove only worked half the time. I had to jiggle the electric nodes quite a bit to get them to heat up. Our sink and shower had a very slow drain. The windows were old and janky- you could hardly open them... Also, we stayed when masks were mandatory in our county during the COVID-19 shutdown, and the majority of the employees didn't wear masks! When I asked the manager about it she acted proud that they weren't wearing them. It was very disturbing and made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe the entire stay. The coffee in the rooms is TERRIBLE. Bring your own. It was the color of light tea, even with half the recommended water. We also have a large family and were told we couldn't get more glasses or plates because the rooms come with four standard. It was really ridiculous. I had to buy cups, a broom, and other necessities because they really didn't provide. Also- the train is loud at night and does wake you up- be warned. I travel extensively for work and this is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Positives- Netflix on the TV is nice, beds were extremely comfortable, even though AC was loud, it worked well and the ice maker worked great in the fridge. Easy access to the freeway Do not stay here long-term or unless you absolutely need to. read more

came here a few weekends ago and had a relaxing stay. rooms & bathroom were clean & spacious, staff was friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious... yogurt, bread, muffins, bagels waffles (make-ur-own waffles) milk, juice, coffee, tea cereal, granola bars, fresh fruit sausages, potatoes, eggs for a small hotel, gym was very clean and decent as well...2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, and dumbells (5-50lbs). nice competitive rates and easy parking. i'd definitely stay here again whenever in the riverside area. read more
