Total 5 star experience. Amanda t front desk was great. We were escaping a dump hotel in Sunnyside…read moreand called late and she was able to give us a choice of rooms with or wo elevator On 2nd floor. The place is very new and up to date and very accommodating. The parking lot is huge and pretty well lit. The entrance includes the breakfast area which is great, the pool and hot tub which looked clean and folks were enjoying it. Everything is spotlessly clean. Our room was perfect. Well lit. The shower was great water pressure. Baby Keurig was stocked with Kirkland coffee. Microwave and fridge new. TV and amazingly and rare TV guide with channel icon and big font so I can read it easily! Quiet room. The breakfast was terrific. Made to order omelets? Yes and wow! Juice, Multiple types Of coffee, fruit, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns - the works! Would stay here again in a second! The price was on the high side however but you get what you pay for. First class all the way. This is the way a property should be managed!

Pros: -Good value…read more-Well maintained and clean property -Friendly staff -Spacious room -Large mini fridge -Four comfortable pillows per bed -Strong water pressure/usable showerhead Cons: -No luggage carts available -Confusing and outdated entertainment system on the TV -Limited parking/hotel hosting events that take parking away from guests -No information given about WiFi/no apparent WiFi available I stayed here because all of the hotels in the Tri-Cities area were horribly overpriced. This Best Western Plus offers a surprisingly good value with a room that was more spacious and comfortable than I expected along with a beautiful view. There is a Denny's and a convenience store nearby both of which I took advantage of. I am beyond sick and tired of hotels that refuse to buy enough luggage carts to have them available for their guests, and also refuse to enforce any kind of policy that holds guests responsible for returning the carts in a timely manner. Suggestion: If you want a cart you provide a $50 deposit (charged to your room) and if the cart is not returned in 30 minutes you lose the deposit. I should not have to make 8 trips back and forth at check-in AND check-out to shuttle my belongings from a full-size SUV packed for a 3 week roadtrip (everyone knows not to leave a single item in their vehicle overnight). The TV's built-in entertainment system was frustrating to navigate and outdated. I expect easy access to Netflix/Tubi/Prime Video in 2026. I was not given any info about WiFi and I could not find a WiFi signal. Parking is very limited and even more so when the hotel is hosting a party on their back lawn. If management would address some of the issues mentioned above this could be a 5 star Best Western Plus, it certainly has the potential.

This was a good place. Here for work at a winery couple exits away. Rodeway Inn-…read more clean great choices for breakfast. Hot and Cold. Killer ! took some extra for lunch later funny view out our window of a funky kids dental office (pic included) staff, happy to help and friendly pool, I didn't use, but looked clean/inviting. Brother used it and loved. we ordered a rollaway. and my mom has made sandwiches thicker than this mattress. And the rollaway itself was bowing..so there was this massive dip. Kind of comical. Was praying hard my brother wouldn't suffer with back ache next day. He didn't! $10 charge for a horrible rollaway. I'd visit/recommend again.

HOWEVER, there were a couple of odd expereices which cause me to deduct stars: shortly after checkin, the front desk clerk boldly unlocks and enters our room WHILE WE'RE there. No traditional knock before or any announcement and in fact caught one of us using the bathroom. Very very creepy. The other thing is that while everything looked clean, the towels and linens didn't feel laundered. they felt used and refolded. there was also a blood stain on my sheets which should never be allowed. The final nail in the coffin of this place is the A/C was extremely noisy all night. I would urge the owners to re-evaluate staff training and operations processes in order to make some quick changes which would drastically improve my review.

I've stayed here twice, now, for 2-3 days each time. For their price (under $60 after tax), and for…read moreall they have to offer, I'll give them 4 stars. Don't misunderstand that to mean a 4-star hotel! It is not.  There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance, though since many of them are across the "highway," you either have to walk a fair distance to reach a legal crosswalk, or take your chances that the Grandview police aren't looking for revenue by way of jay-walkers.  Both times I've stayed here, I've done a thorough check for bed bugs immediately upon entry, and not found any! Yay! More about the beds later...  The rooms are old and dingy, but seem to be clean. Though I could smell old, stale cigarette smoke when I first opened the door, it was almost immediately replaced with a much cleaner, very pleasant scent.  I have no idea if they have different sized beds or rooms, but both times I've stayed there, I had a pretty large room with a queen sized bed, a full sized bath, and a fridge and microwave. One of the two times, there was a quirky tiny stove/sink combo that was part of the fridge. The fridge and freezer worked perfectly, and the fridge part was larger than average for a motel room. The sink part of the concoction worked, but the stovetop was missing the coils. I don't know if it would have worked otherwise. The indicators light up when you turn the knobs. In this room (16), there's a small table with 2 padded chairs and a lamp. The TV sits on a long, low bureau that has 4 large drawers and a lamp. On one side of the bed is a night stand with 2 large drawers and a lamp. I don't recall the setup from the previous room. Also, there are power outlets, but for AC only. If you have devices requiring USB power, you'll need to bring a plug for that. They come with relatively small, but nice enough flat-screen TVs with cable. The remotes have had some issues getting the TVs to turn on, but once I turned the TV on manually, the remote mostly worked fine after that. Not always. Not sure what the issue is. They offer Wifi. I don't recall if I had any issues with it the last time I was here, but I haven't had any issues this time. Works perfectly.  They have in-wall heater/AC units. They are fairly noisy, but I like it that way. It's like built-in white noise. Helpful considering this place sits directly on Wine Country Road. In room 16, there doesn't seem to be a problem with the curtain length/placement, but in room 14, the way the air blows from the unit blows the curtains all over the place. I had to clamp them down with some clamps I happened to have with me that stay, or else those outside would have seen far more of me than they'd like!  The bathtub is a fairly decent size. Not large, but large enough to take a bath in. The water pressure is very good, but unfortunately the shower nozzle sprayer isn't adjustable, and it doesn't really provide an adequate stream with the built-in spray pattern. They would do well to replace the shower heads with newer ones - preferably even handheld ones. They do provide a small bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth, and a floor towel/mat. I would feel a lot more comfortable if they went the extra mile and bought enclosed mattress covers that protect against bed bugs, dust mites, etc... most h/motels these days are using those. This place actually doesn't even use fitted sheets. Just a large flat sheet that is tucked in. Their pillows are comfortable, but stained, and it's kind of gross. I wish those, too, were in zippered cases. I think it's a bit odd that they haven't ponied up to at least buy fitted sheets. Those aren't very expensive, and would go a long way toward the rooms seeming cleaner and more professional, even if it is just a cheap motel room. Little touches still matter.  There isn't, in fact, a swimming pool. There used to be, but it is overgrown now, and has been for as long as I've been patronizing this weird little town.  Their Vacancy sign isn't always truthful. I called one morning because it said there was a vacancy. I'm a night driver, and I needed to get to sleep. I hoped they would allow me to check-in early. But they said they didn't have any rooms available until that night. I said the Vacancy sign was lit, and they said "Yes, it will be vacant later!" It's probably a good idea to call ahead anyway. It is a friendly, family-run business, and I'm pretty sure they live on-site. Sometimes, they're out. If you call ahead, they can arrange to be here when you arrive, or at least tell you when they will be here. If you're a trucker with only a bobtail, they might accommodate you. There are a couple of places they'll allow you to part your bobtail if you're staying here. That was the first reason I ever stayed here, so they won a customer that way!  This isn't a fancy place, so please don't give a crappy review for it not being a nicer place. It's inexpensive and clean. Sometimes, that's all you need!
