This is now a Travelodge by Wyndham and it is terrible. The worst place I have ever stayed! Our first room we rejected due to the strong smell of urine in a carpeted room which they tried to cover up with strong perfume. The next room shown the TV was not hooked up and there was no hot water and no coffee pot. We said we'd go out for dinner and come back and we're told things would be fixed. Apparently they flip a breaker to turn hot water on i guess to save money when less than full but They were fully booked so why would that even be a question? That was about a 20 minute process. We ran the water for over 10 minutes in each room and never got hot water. When we came back we spent another 20 minutes for them to show us the room again but when we opened the door someone else's luggage was in there! So room #2 was out. After more time we were shown a third room upstairs above where a man in a van had been harassing some young ladies and the cops were called. We tried the water and again no hot water after 10 minutes running the tub and sink full blast. Bed spreads had cigarette holes in them. The 3 rooms we saw were all very dated. That was third strike and we left with a refund. In addition the pool which is front of building was green with algae and disgusting. Clearly the owners could care less about this property. The two ladies staffing were apologetic, polite and professional and did not argue and provided a business card. Avoid any rooms with carpet and test everything. I needed a place to stay for the week so I could go to school in sunnyside and this was a cheap place. This is the worst motel I've ever stayed in. The first room I was in the coffee pot was filthy inside, the microwave and coffee pot sat on the bathroom counter so all the space was completely taken up, the wall socket for these things in the bathroom didn't work, the towels in the bathroom were dirty, there were cigarette burns in the night stand, there was no fridge and the room had the nastiest smell to it. Like a mixture of urine and cigarettes. I asked the front desk to move to another room and the lady that lived behind the front desk put me in the back half of the building because those rooms "have been remodeled". Now this room was a ton better (cleaner) but by no means was it remodeled. I could barely watch tv the thing barely worked! It had fuzzy lines bouncing around on the screen so that was fun. There was also a huge burn hole in the railing a few rooms down. The strangest thing I found about the place was a guy (that I presume is someone that works for the motel) lives in a room at the very end of the motel. The funny thing is the place doesn't allow dogs but both the front desk lady and the guy living in the end room have dogs. The pool outside is green with algae and a bunch of things on the outside of the building are just falling apart. I think the absolute worst thing about this place apart from the motel itself, is the constant commotion in the middle of the night. You hear non stop horns and bass from cars passing by, people fighting, dogs barking. Not to mention the traffic coming in and out from the Mexican restaurant that shares the parking lot with the motel. The second night I was there someone broke into the room the guy lives in and busted the door all apart. P.S. I do highly recommend the Mexican place there though. This place is awful and a fraud! There was big (I presume, dog) poop in the disabled parking area right in front of the main entrance to reception desk area, and nobody did a thing about it. While waiting I saw a mouse running in the adjacent kitchen where I presume they serve breakfast (they do advertise "free breakfast"). The 1st staff member I encountered was mostly incompetent if not with ill intents; the 2nd one was outright rude. They also have this trick of charging upfront $100 to your credit card on top of the room rate; now I've no problem with providing my CC so they have the information to be able to charge for incidentals, but up-front charge? (for which they have a sign at their reception, however most people myself included book online and there isn't any mention of the deposit charge up-front when you book online). The place is dirty, shady, the staff is unhelpful and some of the staff is even rude. Stay away if possible! read more

the room smells bad and is gross i wouldn't recommend this to anyone, there is people fighting in the parking lot and there were people staring at me while i was walking to my room, there were 2 dirty socks just right under both the beds it didn't look like it was cleaned the coffee maker is in the bathroom read more

There is just nothing wrong at all with this motel. Great service, clean and comfy room to include the pillows! Better quality than many of the Quality brands I have stayed in! Try it - you won't be disappointed! read more

3 stars equals A-OK, which this was, considering you have to remember the price is not bad comparatively speaking. This is not a complaint review, but rather just a statement of facts. The staff I spoke with on the phone and met in person were very nice and helpful. Room was clean. Plug in did not work at coffeemaker or hairdryer location. Moved coffee maker to another plug across room for coffee, and I don't have much hair so all good there. TV works fine for 10 minutes and then frizzes out with scrolling lines crossing the picture. I got up and checked connections to no avail so turned it off to sleep which I needed, so all good there. Toilet flapper seal must be bad because while trying to sleep (since I turned the TV off) the tank refills every 1/2 hour or so and wakes you up from it sounding like someone is using the water in the bathroom. I finally just got up and turned off the water valve in the wall under the toilet, so all good there too. Other than that, I came, I slept, I showered, I moved on and didn't get ripped off by a high price. I also consider it a bonus that there is a Mexican restaurant and bar in the same lot that I enjoyed for dinner. A-OK visit = A-OK star rating. I stayed one night and there were pros and cons. I wish I could do half stars but I'm generously giving 3. Pros: Very reasonably priced Room was clean, and passed my bed bug test. (I check every room I stay in whether it's a 2-Star hotel or 5-Star.) Bedding looked very clean and in fact, the mattress looked new Well stocked towels Free WiFi worked fine and I was able to stream Netflix Front desk check-in fast and friendly They have a free continental breakfast that looked adequate, although I didn't try it. Cons: NOISE NOISE NOISE I did not sleep AT. ALL. When I arrived at the hotel around 10pm after visiting with family for the day, there were people fighting in the parking lot. A young woman who appeared to WORK THERE was screaming at some men across the parking lot that they weren't allowed visitors. Nice. Noise ALL NIGHT LONG. Yelling, partying, slamming doors, pounding on doors, etc etc. There is a restaurant/bar in the parking lot and it was Saturday night, so I guess this was the issue. The extremely loud air conditioner drowned it out part of the time. Even though it was clean and price was great I really would avoid staying here, especially on a weekend. Giving it 1 star was the most I could've done for this place! It was the worst experience I've ever had. First off, we had asked for a non-smoking room... the second we opened the door that room reeked in pure cigarette smell. Disgusting!! I called the front desk and the lady (she was already rude from the start, very poor customer service) said she had called to tell us there was no non-smoking rooms available (hello!!! We had reserved our room 2 weeks ago) I let her know we never received a call and that we wanted a different room. She then told us to go to the front desk so that she can get us different room. The second room was way better than the first she tried giving us... the next day, we asked for no service and just informed the housekeeper we only needed clean towels. She said "ok" we got to our room that night and we had NO towels at all... I called the front desk and the lady said "we'll get you some clean towels in 20 minutes, we had no clean ones yesterday." Well those 20 min passed by and we had no clean towels. (Luckily my mom had packed 2 towels) we asked for service in our room the second day. When we got back to our hotel, the beds weren't made and we still had no clean towels. I called the next morning (our last day there) and informed the front desk that we didn't get service in our rooms yesterday and we still had no towels. She went on to say that they only had 2 housekeepers working and didn't make it to all the rooms. ?!!!!!?!!? Um WTF! And she still made us go get the clean towels at the front desk because they had no one to deliver ?!!!!!! WORST SERVICE EVER. read more

Terrible place. Rude front desk girl. Filthy smelly room. Our pillow cases were dirty and yellowish. Bathroom was dirty and stunk. The place was noisy because they put us in room 115 about 12 feet from the pool. The free internet was so weak it was useless. The a/c did not work well and it was like 90. The breakfast was HORRIBLE AT BEST. THE COFFEE WAS awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What can I say? It is just a bad place to stay unless you just don't care about hygiene and some kind of comfort. read more

This is probably the only place I'll stay in sunnyside , so to the rates and the desirable comfort . Usually recommend most of my family and travels in the areas to stay here . They offer good group rates. read more

So this place has screwed me twice now. A couple years ago I was double charged for one stay because the person waiting on my couldn't understand that we wanted to charge it to different card than was on file. And just now I found out they had no record of a reservation I made through booking.com 5 months ago. However booking.com totally had record of it. And this town is totally booked because of an event. read more

My reservation was originally in Oregon but because of a broken down truck we weren't able to make it that far. The front desk woman, Raquel, helped us figure out how to transfer our reservation from Oregon to this location. So grateful for her! We ended up getting a better room than we would have in Oregon. This place really helped us when we needed it! read more

Best place to stay at for a weekend in town. Staff is comforting and the manager makes sure you are taken care of. Price is right and location is great! Definitely will be staying here again. read more
