Ok folks YES this is a MOM/POP motel. It does need some work in certain places, the inside was very clean and clean white linens, crisp sheets NO BED BUGS!!! ( that is the first thing we check for everywhere) the beds are comfortable, walls are clean and NO CARPET all newer hardwood d floors. Office could use some updates and cleaned but other than that we slept good and it's a GREAT PRICE.. if you r very picky and want newer things, you may want to look elsewhere. Other than that my husband and I like it

Yea this place rates the worse I've ever been in. Probably the kids wouldn't mind coming here on the way to a concert because they're broke. But for an adult whose traveled a lot, keep driving and look for something better.

    Good times

Stayed here over thanksgiving holiday. Was worried that the room would be cold since it was 20 degrees outside and the room only had a radiator. The room was toasty warm and the bed was new. The place is run by a immigrant who takes pride in their hotel. Also the place only charges $5.00 extra for the dog. The place was clean and affordable. Close to the ski area too. Would stay here again

Filthy! Had to change rooms because the first was disgusting. Second not much better. I can deal with dated fixtures but clean them!

First off, charging $20 for parking is already frustrating--but what makes it worse is that they don't even check or monitor vehicles after charging you. It feels like an unnecessary fee with no real purpose. Then there's the water park. At around $100 per person, you'd expect a comfortable and enjoyable experience, but instead it was extremely overcrowded. It was hard to actually enjoy anything because of how packed everything was. The food is another issue--very overpriced for what you get. You end up spending way more than expected just to feed your family. One of the worst parts was the check-in process for the water park. We waited about 30 minutes just to get wristbands. That's unacceptable, especially when you've already paid so much. There should absolutely be a better system in place--like separate lines for hotel guests and day pass visitors to make things move faster. Overall, the experience did not match the price at all. Between the extra fees, long waits, and overcrowding, I don't think I will be going there again.

It was difficult for servers to run back and forth, so this year, they changed it. They designated a private space in the restaurant and just put one decorated gingerbread wall. The other 3 walls are white curtains. It's pretty and spacious but not impressive. The nice touch is an adorable decorative gingerbread house on the table and two lanterns. White Christmas tree is in the corner of the area. If you don't mind not being in a real gingerbread house, go for it. The service was amazing and the food was very good. The fries were cruchy and the burger was solid. I guess I was just disappoined about the ordinary look of this area, so I am knocking off a star. They played religious Christmas music about Jesus, not the ordinary Jingle Bells which added a solomn mood rather then festive. Everything else was great. $7.50 beer, $14 burger, $10 per party fee for dinning in the "house", which goes to charity. A little too big inside the area to be cozy for a smaller party, but good for a larger family (seats 8-10). (No special guests showed up. No wolf, no Santa...A pretty ordinary experience overall. Not special enough after experiencing the magic of the REAL gingerbread house 2 years ago.)
