The worst hotel you could ever stay at, you're better off sleeping in your car. Booked a reservation a month in advance for them to tell us there is no reservation upon arrival even though I called to confirm several times. Claims it's a 24 hour desk yet when I had an issue with the key working there was only a piece of paper in place of the employee working the desk which read "call this number if you have a problem " while the employee was sleeping in the room behind the desk. Rooms are ok, not clean. Keys stop working after you use them. Also please be aware it's a refugee house and not an actual hotel. I told a Concord local I was staying there and her response was "surprised that place is still open". Spend the extra 50 dollars a night on a nicer place, because you'll be sleeping with one eye open. read more

It's a clean location and staff is friendly and helpful. Staff are professional. Stephanie that works at the front desk was super awesome! This hotel is far and really nothing around it. It has 2 levels with stairs only. They have vendor machines to buy drinks and snacks. I had 2nd floor with balcony looking out into the parking lot. Best hotel I've stayed in in 2021 hands down. Including the high ends. This place has everything you want in a hotel at a rate from a decade ago. From the moment I stepped from my car, the staff was attentive to detail. I'd third partied my reservation and had been assigned a second floor room. She saw that I walked with a cane and offered me a first floor. I never had to ask. Gave me the room closest to the exit. Very thoughtful. Turns out everyone on the staff is thoughtful and detail oriented. Cleanliness and Covid awareness can be seen throughout. Little things as well. TV has a paper channel listing underneath. Snacks in the room coffee basket. So thoughtful. AMAZING hot/cold breakfast buffet. Will definitely return! read more

I was so happy to find a hotel just after the Covid 19 restrictions were lifted!! The hotel staff was exceptional and the room was clean and quiet! The best thing was they took my 2 Labrador Retrievers with a flat fee on only $15!! Ample areas to walk the dogs and poop bags and disposal cans provided. Due to Covid, they didn't provide usual breakfast but did provide "Breakfast" in a paper bag consisting of fruit, granola bar and water. read more

For nearly $200 I got only a very basic room, and one in which there were a few maintenance problems. The worst was a shower control that you couldn't turn (frozen in place). I stayed at the Best Western in Concord for over 1 month when I required unplanned temporary housing. My stay was made great by the friendly service and front desk staff. The housekeepers were always friendly and kind. The front desk was very accommodating and Cody Herlihy - the front desk manager - went out of his way on several occasions to make my 1.5 month stay very pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast cafe was clean and well stocked. The selection is diverse. I would stay there again and also recommend it to others who are staying in the area. Tip: The nightly rate is negotiable to some extent. Ask if you're getting the best available rate. read more

My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and stayed in Concord. This hotel is a great budget option. There is complimentary hot breakfast, complimentary cookies and simple snacks, and complimentary coffee and tea. We were only there for two nights and the first night we got there it was past midnight. There was nothing to eat nearby and pretty much everything in the Boston area closes early and even more so in Concord. Hotel is two stories with no elevator so keep that in mind if you are in need of handicap accessible rooms. The breakfast buffet is on the second floor but from what I understand, they can bring you a plate if you can't make it up there. The room was clean and they had really great shampoo and conditioner. If you are going to use the in-room refrigerator make sure that you turn it on because ours was turned off for some reason and took awhile to cool down. Also they advised us to keep our bathroom door closed if we take a hot shower or bath because it would trigger the smoke detectors. Our room was quiet and I'm not sure if anybody else was staying nearby but we never heard our neighbors. I liked that we were on the second floor because then we didn't have to hear people above us. The patio was nice but ours overlooked the parking lot so it was nothing special but it was very nice to get some refreshing natural air. The biggest complaint I had for our room is how loud the AC unit was. Took awhile to get used to in order to sleep. Service at the front desk was nice but a lot of the times they were on their phones or on personal conversations, probably because they were not very busy. Like I said Concord is a very pretty city but there isn't a lot to do and if you are hungry keep in mind that places close very early. There was an Italian restaurant and Chinese place within 5 minute walking distance. read more

I travel 20 plus weeks a year and generally stay at Hilton properties where I collect points and am diamond status. With Boston area rooms running $200 plus a night I gave this place a shot. I generally stay away from Best Western as most are not up to my admittedly high standards. This place is good! It's clean and the room inside is 85% as good as my regular Hampton Inn. It's clean, the balcony is a nice extra. The beds are okay not amazing but clean. It's not the W or Hilton Curio collection but a neat clean room at a good price 1/2 hour from Cambridge read more

I'm moving to the area and stayed here for two nights during my preview trip. Very satisfied overall. For the money, I can't say enough on how great of a value this particular hotel is. That's how this particular Best Western earned 5 stars out of me. It is in an older building, but they have done a fantastic job of keeping the place clean and updated. The hallways and the rooms smell very fresh. I was in a double bed room and the added countertop and mirror outside of the bathroom was a great touch for those parties that needed more space. Sometimes hotel WiFi is touch and go with regards to speed, but I had no issues whatsoever--I even video-chatted without any issues. The staff were professional and friendly. As the breakfast room was undergoing some renovations, they handed out Dunkin Donuts' giftcards and fresh fruit upon check-in, which I had no problem with whatsoever. The grounds are nice, and the pool looked pleasant. The hotel itself is located just off a turnpike so it's a little deceiving with regards to just how pleasant the area is overall. The hotel and the room made me feel comfortable and secure. I will definitely recommend having my friends and family stay here when they come to visit. read more

Great value if you have your own vehicle to traverse in and out of Boston. However, if you're looking for a more authentic Boston feel, then you're probably not going to have the best time if you stay here. Concord has a stake in history and has lots to see during a day trip. If you have time, then you should check out the sights. The rooms at the Best Western are immaculate and smell wonderful. Each room has a private balcony, a flat screen television, and standard amenities. There's also a fitness room complete with a treadmill, eliptical, and mutli-gym. The pool looked clean, but I didn't have a chance to visit. The free daily cookie was delicious and I definitely took advantage of that freebie. During my stay, the dining area was under renovation, so I was offered a choice of $10/day in Dunkin Donuts gift cards or $10/day off the room charge. I chose the gift cards. When we first arrived there. The staff was really nice and sweet. The food was really good. The rooms were way to small. The beds very uncomfortable and to small. The rooms needs to be update especially in the bathrooms. The ground was dirty and the floor as well. When I first arrive they have me a room that someone already had been there. And but they fixed it gave me clean room. And roll bed at No charge. It was nice closed to the the place that I wanted to see my brother. Btw the Pool was Not heated and very cold:-( There isn't a Microwave in the room. The refrigerator was not cold at all. Inside of the hotel wasn't clean at all. read more

The rooms are nice. The new LG flat screens are nice. I got stuck in room 148 for two nights... I should have ask for a different room! The back door slammed all night and no one can climb stairs quietly. Should I mention the bright light which shines in the back parking lot? Wanted to find a place to stay overnight before a flight from Boston. This was a good option as it was close enough and much less expensive than airport hotels. It is set up like a motel but there are 4 street entrances and room entrances are inside the building. At checkin, there were chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal cookies available. They give you directions to your room as well as info about the included breakfast. One of the nice things is that you can either go to the breakfast room or have it delivered to you. The room itself was clean and had plenty of storage space, a mini-fridge, TV, wardrobe, desk with chair and a sliding glass door to a small patio area with chairs. I had my breakfast delivered and my friend went to the breakfast room. My breakfast came an hour earlier than requested which I wasn't happy about but still nice to have a delivery option. It is a good value for an overnight stay. read more

The beds are as hard as nails. The people working at the desk don't seem to know how to do their jobs. The water from the showers spray all over the bathroom floor. The heating element in the room is questionable. The pillows are travel-size, not full size. The pancakes were like rubber. There was only one thin blanket on the bed, and no more available in the room itself. The rep on duty was an imbecile. He kept asking me the same questions over and over, which I answered. He also asked, after I had told him to check the reservation, if we needed 1 or 2 rooms!! I told him that my bro-in-law was out of town, and he then asked if M would be staying with us, even though it is clearly marked on the itinerary who the rooms were for. I told him SEVERAL TIMES that M was out of the state, and that he had booked the rooms for us on his card. Plus, I had been informed, prior to arrival, that his card was ON FILE, and that everything was taken care of! The current manager did not use critical thinking either when trying to contact me regarding the reservation. He had my cell phone number when I first checked in, but didn't bother to call that number. Instead, he called my brother-in-law's phone, and did NOT even apologize! He also referred to me as a sister when he was speaking to my dad on the phone. Apparently, he thought that my dad was my b-i-l despite the fact that I told him I was calling my father to cover to bill. He sent an email, which I only saw because I was checking other emails and happened to see that one. I had given my cell when we first signed in, but he didn't bother checking that. Apparently, my sister and brother-in-law had a receipt from Expedia showing that the room was paid for, which the hotel should have had. Instead, they said that that the room had been booked as 'guest paying upon arrival.' Double-dipping is an ILLEGAL act! My father covered the room, but apparently it was already paid for, according to my sister. I contacted the corp ofc, and they passed the buck to Expedia -- not surprised. I would give this hotel a 1/2 star if I had the option! Don't waste your money here. read more

If you want to see what excellent customer service looks like for a business hotel, the two Hotel Evening Customer Service Specialists at this business hotel can model it quite well. The reception was upbeat, they were accommodating to my unusual requests, they made me feel like they cared about my needs. They have great interpersonal skills. The rooms are well cleaned, bathroom well stocked, and the there was generous square footage. The only reason for the four stars and not five is that some of the furniture in the room was not comfortable. The bed, however, was excellent. You are a business traveler in this general area, choose to stay here. Excellent service, free wi-fi, HIGH SPEED wifi, and excellent work space in the room. You are a pleasure traveler, this hotel is affordable and you get much more in services and amenities when compared to the price. Earlier in the week, I stayed at the Colonial Inn. Though there are comparable prices, what you get at the Colonial Inn in terms of a wonderful historical experience with beautiful common areas, you give up in your room comfort--smaller rooms, less comfortable bed. 4 Stars for Best Western and it is a strong 4 stars. This will be my choice for all business and pleasure travel in this region. read more

We stayed here one night in Feb, 2013. I will admit that when we pulled up to the place my first thought was to pull right out of the parking lot! It is very dated looking, and in the middle of winter, had quite the sad appearance. Since we were meeting others here, we checked in anyway. Upon entering the room, it was warm and inviting EXTREMELY clean, and cozy. Modernized bathroom, flatscreen T.V., down comforter in duvet cover... overall a great place to stay. We stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of June 2012. Having been to Concord 21 years ago, I knew that even in all that time there most likely wouldn't have been a 9 story hotel built anywhere in town so I figured I'd be staying in one of the smaller scale chains. I found this hotel online and the price was right. I checked out all the pics on Google Maps and it looked decent enough. We arrived early and were able to arrange early check in without any hassle. The hotel is located a mere 2 miles or so from downtown Concord. It is 2 stories with no elevator, so keep that in mind if you have heavy bags. It wasn't a big deal though. The grounds are very well kept and while I was a little concerned that on Google Maps, it appeared to be close to a freeway junction, it wasn't more than a country road by most standards. At check in, I was greeted by a friendly clerk who offered me free (and fresh) Otis Spunkmeyer cookies that they keep out for guests (individually wrapped). Upon entering the room (#205 I think), we found it very clean. There was even a specially designed TV remote that is designed for easy cleaning. If you know anything about investigations of hotel cleanliness, the TV remotes are THE most contaminated item in the room so it was nice to see special attention given to it. A small detail, but nice. The free wifi worked for all our items (more than I can say for the hotel we stayed in at Boston). All the channels on the flat screen worked fine. No odd smells or sounds. The free breakfast was just down the hall and had a nice variety of choices. Was it gourmet? No, but it was free and a nice way to kick off the day. Many hotel/motels of this size have a concrete pit with water in it just so they can say they have a pool. The Best Western's pool was actually quite nice. It was clean and there were plenty of free towels and lounge chairs so we actually spent some time there. There is also a very decent Italian restaurant next door which came in handy as we really weren't up to hunting for a place to eat that first night. So here' s the clincher for the 5 star rating; the day after we checked out I got a call asking if I had left an Ipod in the room. It turns out my son had forgotten it there but he hadn't even noticed it missing yet. So not only was it found and turned in, but they shipped it to our home that day with no hassle at all. It was nice to see that level of customer service that is often lacking at even the most extravagant hotels. So, if you are looking for a night at a Ritz Carlton type hotel, go to Boston. If you want a comfortable, safe, CLEAN and friendly place to stay out in Concord then this is a great choice. I would definitely stay again if I had the opportunity. read more

This motel appears to have had a recent makeover. The carpeting, wallpaper, paint and facilities all seemed fresh and very clean. There was a very nice complementary breakfast that included, scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon or sausage, French toast, bagels, dry cereal, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Very nice chocolate chip cookies at the front desk too. The only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars is the lack of an elevator to the second floor. read more
