The manager of that store was extremely picky with who he had fix their botched job because the warranty would still be back on his shop. After a lot of asking around, he found Automotive Repairwerks and I'm glad he did. The car was fixed correctly the first time and drives smooth as can be. I've been back to them with every issue my wife or I have with our cars. They always diagnose it right the first time, explain everything thoroughly, have it done when they say they'll have it done and charge a fair price. My wife recently had a situation with Subaru where they "fixed" something that turned out to not be the issue and the guys at Automotive Repairwerks handled it in one day. Be prepared... there's usually a two week wait to get your car services which is evidence that they are in high demand and for good reason.

Thank goodness I had already gone for a FREE code reading at Toyota and knew it was not that. Gave them the paperwork from Toyota and they put in the missing fuse (I should have done it there. They are way better with Prius and don't charge you for doing NOTHING) They charged me 10$ for the fuse that costs .50 Cents and acted like it took them an hour when I gave them the paperwork for the issue that they couldn't find!! A friend recommended this place bc she's taken her prius. I will be telling her and my fellow prius driving friends (I know a lot of us) not to trust this place. rip off Thievery. -Auraum

I get very anxious when something goes wrong or I don't understand something about my car and the staff at Jimmy's is always patient and gracious to answer and explain, even if I ask silly questions. (And I do ask silly questions - a lot of them.) Jimmy's mechanics keep my car in good shape and help me have peace about its upkeep and maintenance. Jimmy's staff does great mechanical work and they really care about their customers. The Customer Service reps (at the desk) are really great, they work with me regarding appointments and the repairs that I need. I am so thankful to be a Jimmy's Automotive customer for several years and I'll keep coming back. I recommend them highly.

I am sure they had the best intentions; however, we brought in an old car with what seemed to be a…read morebusted radiator. They said they were busy, but they would do a thorough inspection. We said "we just need it running". One week later, we get a thorough list of things to fix, including "polishing the headlights" all with a sum total of more than we paid for the car ($4500 on a 2004 car that was worth $4000). That should have been our clue to go elsewhere, but we trusted them and moved forward with the critical repairs, unaware of any risks. In their defense, they did say it could also be the gasket, but we do not know what that means or what it costs. After spending $2000 we learn that yes, the gasket was blown and that would cost $3000 to fix. (meaning, if they had their way, we would have spent $7500 on a car that was worth $4000.) If we had been made aware of this potentially LARGE risk, we would not have approved of the initial repairs, we would have just sold the car for parts. But instead we were stuck with paying $2k for a car that wouldn't run or adding another $3k for a car that still would need a few things. They claim to excel in customer service; however I do not feel confident in their motives. To me, good customer service involves working together with the customer to find a solution that makes the most sense, and helping the customer make the best decision while understanding the risks. It's not selling a cake for 2000 people when you're only expecting 50 guests. We took the car elsewhere to complete the repair, not because of the price, but because we didn't feel we could trust them to provide information for us to make a decision appropriate for the age of our car.
