I'm honestly very disappointed with my experience here. I was told this place was really good, so I decided to give it a try and ordered 2 chorizo burritos and 2 drinks. First, the guy took my order but apparently never even put it in. I watched two families who ordered after me receive their food before I finally went up to ask about my order. When I asked, the guy said, "Yes, just one burrito?" I had to explain again that I ordered 2 burritos and 2 drinks. After waiting even longer, I finally received my food, only to get home and realize that neither burrito was what I ordered. I ordered chorizo burritos and was given ham and cheese burritos instead. Mistakes happen, but having my order not entered, then having to correct the order, waiting while others who came after me were served, and ultimately receiving completely different food was extremely frustrating. I've had mixed experiences going here. When I first arrived to the area, it was a godsend as the prices were reasonable, food was decent enough, and it was right after Covid, and we hadn't been going out. I later tried it for breakfast, and had a terrible, dry breakfast burrito and then noticed how they were making it. The ingredients were sitting in a bin on top of the cooktop flat surface. Not sure why they even bothered to ask me what I wanted in it, 'cause they just slapped whatever they had in that bin, and wrapped it up for me. I asked for ham for the meat choice. It didn't matter, as I got a mix of eggs, fries(huh?), bacon, and ham. The point is it wasn't fresh, the only thing that was fresh was the fact they warmed up the tortilla when they made it. Otherwise the ingredients were not great, and a bit dry. For the most part the restaurant is clean, the employees are friendly enough, and they have a salsa bar, which is always a plus, and typically has fresh ingredients, they manage those pretty well. I visited recently out of convenience, and the food was actually ok. What I didn't care for was how some of their prices doubled for smaller and snack items, and are all around pretty high. Chalk it up to the area or economy, whatever you may want to go with, but there are definitely better places for the price point. read more

Super yummy, definitely hits to spot if your looking for some Mexican food! I used to order the California burrito years ago but I haven't been here in a while. I'm pregnant now and I was craving a burrito with rice, beans, guacamole, and fries lol. Kinda a weird/simple order but they made it and I devoured it in literally 8 minutes!! First off, the breakfast burrito was huge, which is great. But the menu states it has potatoes and bacon, but it actually is french fries, bacon, and square bits of ham. The chips were good. Now, here's what I didn't like. Every table is filthy, the floors are sticky and had old food on it, the trash area looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while. I walked in at around 9:45am (never been here before) and saw two men working their asses off preparing food. They were very polite and fast with service. This place is a grill, not a fancy sit down restaurant. I mean c'mon, it's in the name. Prices are more than fair for what you get. I ordered the carne asada tacos with chips and salsa and enjoyed every bit of it. The place was very clean as well. I love authentic Mexican fast food, and Rodolfo's is just that. Just like the same restaurants in Greeley, Cheyenne and Laramie that as I set the same name. A Carne Asada burrito was the perfect redemption. Mmm... La Perla holds my 1st place rating for Carne Asada, but today I think Rodolfo's holds 2nd place. Clumsy tables and chairs and an order-up counter. But its the home style Hispanic food that brings a nearly orgasmic delight. Rich flavors. Cilantro use is generous and I love that. Bare bones atmosphere, a few tables and chairs, a walk-up service window, and no servers, but very good food at reasonable prices in the corner location of a strip mall. My son is a vegan and loved his bean and rice burrito with guacamole ($4.45). It was huge! I am not vegan, or even a virgin for that matter, so I ordered chips and guacamole ($2.80), carne asada tacos ($2.35 each), and cheese and onion enchiladas ($3.95) ala carte. The chips were a tad too greasy, as if they had just been reheated in the deep frier, but pretty good with a little shredded cheese and a bit more guacamole on top. I needed some more guacamole, so I went back to the counter to get an additional side order for the chips and my tacos., but when I asked to pay I was told "no charge". Wow ... gracias! The carne asada tacos came on large corn tortillas and were heaped with sliced beef, diced onions, pico de gallo, guacamole, and a little shredded cheese ... just the way I like them ... buenísimo! They also have a small salsa bar with three different salsas (two red and one green), some pico de gallo, fresh cut lime, and pickled jalapeño and sliced carrots. They were all great, but I had to taste each to find out how hot they were, so some signage would be my only suggestion. The enchiladas were also very good. The red chili sauce was spicy and tasty and there was just the right amount of cheese to sauce ratio. The only drawback being way too many sliced onions on top instead of a few diced onions inside the enchiladas. The taste was pretty much the same, but it was hard to see the enchiladas through the onions and they were a bit overpowering. In all, the food was fresh, excellent, and very reasonable. Coming from Lawrence, Kansas where they do not seem to know what good, authentic Mexican food is, Rodolfo's was a breath of fresh air in more ways than one. After reading several reviews of numerous Mexican food joints we landed on this one. The table was split otherwise 5 stars would have been in order! The chili relenos and carne asada were off the charts good. Full of flavor and well done. The cheese quesadilla and beef enchiladas were average. Not too spectacular in flavor. Ok, they fell off! Getting worse and worse!! Been going here for 7 years and today was the last. Just a bit of advice, don't go in when the young teenage girls are working the cash register because I was overcharged!! She told me the price for carne asada nachos ($11.20), 2 breakfast burritos ($7.05), and a side of refried beans ($2.20) was $39!! No, that is $27! I paid the $39 because I thought maybe she charged me extra for the pico I had asked her to add to my nachos plus the tax. Then, when I got home, my receipt said she really charged me $43!!!!! I noticed they also charge a "hospitality fee"! What the hell?! I will not be going back. The carne asada meat is bland as hell anyway, maybe just add salt, that would be nice.
