We stopped in last night for dinner during the Xmas week break. The place was packed. I felt bad for the two servers. Between serving tables, handling all the carry out orders and attending to new diners at the door, they were clearly short staffed. Although it took us close to an hour to be seated, I'm glad we waited. The food was great. Surprisingly authentic for Harbor Springs. At our table, we had Steak Burrito, beef enchiladas and steak fajitas. Everyone really enjoyed the food. Only word of advice would be just be patient. But we'll worth the wait. read more

So... this place has tons of potential- we were hopeful for a perfect meal but it was lacking in the end. Super nice people and a great atmosphere. But the fish tacos, although perfectly cooked were lacking any spice or flavor. Enchiladas were very good. Chips and salsa above average. So with more organized approach this place could be great. I'll try it again in a few weeks. Could be a 5 star someday. read more

Pick up during covid was great! We called in our order with Will who hooked us up, very nice and helpful. The food was great and of course got the delicious margaritas to go as well! We got fish tacos, enchiladas verdes and burritos, all great! Everything stayed hot or chilled for our trip home. Great experience. Absolutely love this spot! My husband & I recently moved from a big city and have been struggling to find goo places to go out to eat that are Pub food. WE ADORE RODRIGO'S!! It is fantastic Mexican food. At this point we eat there once every other week. My husband loves the Steak and Shrimp and I love the Pollo Supremo. I love the queso and gaucomole. I can't drink right now (pregnant) but i look forward to trying their margaritas in the future. Rodrigo's definitely found loyal customer's in us!! read more

Stopped for dinner after my sons hockey game. Good was fabulous and the service was great! Very clean and friendly.

We came in like 20 minutes to close. I know such a rude move. Anyway. The guys working there greeted us and got our food and drinks out right away. They were so friendly even coming in last minute. The frozen strawberry margarita was amazing. Tasted like it was made with real strawberries and like it actually had tequila in it. I've had a lot of margaritas that taste like slushees from the 7-11. We both got the triple combo tacos on corn tortillas. The tacos were amazing. Simple without a lot of weird extras like shredded cheese. My favorite part was the corn tortillas. House made from scratch they were freaking delicious. Small place. Kind of out of the way. I've eaten Mexican food at many restaurants and this surpassed any meal I've ever had. The host was full of energy and the owner was a delight. First off, the inside of this place is gorgeous. You'll probably agree even if you're not into the Day of the Dead motif. You would never guess from the outside what you're going to see when you walk in. All of the staff was pleasant and attentive and our waiter, Will, was beyond friendly. The food was very good. The rice was good and the beans were incredibly tasty. We had enchiladas and the carnitas were moist and flavorful; the best I've ever had. The shrimp was also very good, and the steak. Our least favorite were probably the cheese and the shredded chicken but even they were good. Highly recommended. read more

I had the chili rellenos and a margarita. Both were delicious. Prices are a little steep - $15 for a drink and $25 for rellenos. I'm not from Michigan, but back home I can get a jumbo Patron margarita for $8-$10 anywhere, and rellenos run about $12 to $14. Service was great. Seating space is limited. Would recommend based on the flavor of the food and drink! read more

Ordered a chicken burrito, a carne asada taco, and a barbacoa taco. The food was not fresh, rice and beans looked and tasted days old and microwaved. The burrito was loosely wrapped and soggy with all the sauce it just broke apart. They said the burrito would be big but was no bigger than a loaded grilled from Taco Bell for 18$! Tacos were dry, no cheese and overall the quality of meat was disappointing. Maybe I have high expectations but I think it's just a restaurant that needs Gordon Ramsey because food like that is a kitchen nightmare. Btw didn't even finish the burrito threw most of it away... for their prices you could make it 10x better and cheaper making it at home even if you can't cook eggs, you can do better read more

Simple, fresh mexican food. Served fast, attentive staff, really working hard to make it a pleasant experience. Our server said their liquor license is coming in June, so that will be a big plus. While the building is small and it was crowded on a Tuesday night, it was well worth the wait. I'm very picky about meat but I got the steak burrito and it was delicious. I really hate writing reviews like this but have to be honest. I'm a huge fan of tacos and have been to almost every authentic taco place in Michigan. I really wanted to like this place and really was hoping for selection of traditional Mexican taco meats. The three meat options where chicken, steak and beef. The chicken was very good but it the Steak and beef were very very basic. My corn tortillas didn't hold up but the taste was there. I will say the service is outstanding and that's why they are getting a 3 star. I will be back to give it another try since It's a newer place and I hope then can expand on the Mexican flavors. read more
