Lynda's is a drive-up shack very similar to the coffee huts in Anchorage. It's super convenient and super tasty. Could be the most authentic Mexican food in all of Charlevoix. They offer a full menu of choices and the portion size to dollar ratio is fair. They move pretty quick, so your through the line and on your way to enjoying this treat...fast fast fast. They're a very pleasant family. Happy to make it your way. The smoker behind the building is a nice touch. The result is aroma sensational! I highly recommend the steak quesadilla or the chicken taco with corn. Whatever you get be certain you try the homemade salsa! 11/23

I love this place. The food is the real deal. I always order the Tostadas with onions, cilantro and a side of guacamole. Tostadas are messy, but oh so good. I lose a lot on my plate, but if you have nacho chips you can just scoop that up. Enjoy

This is a drive thru only restaurant but please don't let that stop you from eating here. It was absolutely delicious! They do have a few picnic tables outside if the weather permits but this was phenomenal. Food was made fresh and was served hot! read more

Yet again, best Mexican cuisine in charlevoix and state!!! Barbacoa burrito and tacos were excellent. The meat was seasoned to perfection and was so tender I barely had to chew. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it. The hot sauce is truly hottttt, makes you rethink your life it's so hot (and later too if you know what I mean lol). The tacos were served with cilantro, onion, and lime... to die for. I will continue to give all my money to this fine establishment. read more

Delicious! We were looking for something quick but this ended up being a big surprise delight. The steak toastado was piled high, very filling and the meat and queso blanco was delicious! The staff was very kind and patient as we had a big group. Wish they had one by where I live! read more

Ordered a chicken burrito and the chicken was extremely dry, almost hard. Flavor was meh at best and pretty bland actually. No real seasoning or spice and the salsa included on the side was just as tasteless. Food was prepared quickly and was nice and warm. Shocked at all the strong reviews. Maybe I was there on an off day or too close to closing (it was 45 minutes before their posted closing time). Based on this one experience I wouldn't recommend. read more

We came out to Lynda's tacos for dinner and they didn't disappoint at all. We tried the Chicken, steak, ground beef and 2 other beef and it was amazing! The service was great and quick and the location was easy to get in and out of. Will definitely be getting this again! read more

Lynda's tacos is beyond good! Sadly we get here once a year but it never disappoints. The three of us try something new every year and have not had one bad item yet! I had the veggie taco, Augh, I could eat these all day. The rice they serve is better than most sit down restaurants. Burritos are massive, filled with a ton of meat. Guacamole, yummmmmmmy!!!!!!!! I made the mistake of ordering chips and salsa as well. She gives you a huge container of chips and plenty of salsa. The three of us barely made a dent in it. We will be back again and again! It's one stop every year we look forward to. read more

This is not your ordinary fast food, yet it is truly food made fast. All the favorite Mexican dishes made from fresh ingredients (BBQ meats, made from scratch refried beans and salsa, etc) and served by friendly and efficient staff. The price seemed reasonable for the quality of food ($40 for two chicken burritos, two pork tacos a side of beans and two sodas) and we finished our meal feeling quite satisfied. The drive through is the restaurant with one picnic table outside to sit. Grab your food and find a park with a view to enjoy. read more

Solid place to check out in Charlevoix. It's located in a trailer truck in the middle of a parking lot and looks very unassuming. The food is cooked fresh outdoors. It's great to stop at for a quick meal. We ordered burritos and tacos and were all very happy with our choices. The barbacoa burrito in particular had flavorful and tender meat. Definitely recommend giving LTs a try. read more

We came upon this little gem purely by chance, after picking up some midweek groceries while on vacation. LT Tacos is the real deal, y'all. We ordered chicken tacos on flour tortillas and then a variety of steak and ground beef tacos on corn tortillas. These are authentic tacos with loads of flavor, fresh ingredients and homemade fresh & warm tortillas. My daughter got the steak salad, it was a large portion and delicious. We were super happy to find this treasure and will be stopping by again before heading home! read more

Nice place. Fast, and drive through. Hard to beat for an authentic experience. In an area without much diversity in food, we were excited to find this place. Portion sizes are kind of small so I'd suggest ordering at LEAST 3 tacos. Flavors were great! read more

After all the excellent reviews. I just had to try this place. Unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed. My beef race was excellent. However my steak fajita taco was not. I bit into 2 rock had pieces of what I'm guessing was grizzle. Not sure I want to risk another visit. read more

I found this place while cleaning my clothes. Thought was a choice hut. Only to read sign to notice tacos. Rub my hands together and said let's give it a try. Now I don't know of variety changes there is no sign with menu. Well I walked up so might be with drive thru side. There was 3 selection of meat to choose from and none being carne asada. So I was like hmmm. A taco place with out a regular choice? So I said ok there's ground beef not fan at what I can whip up at home or get at taco bell. There's chicken hmm pastor yes 2 and roast beef. Hmmm? Give it a try and might I say was pretty good. Kind soft but full flavor. Awesome thing was they gave me a little container of there homemade guac. So went along took it home. And devoured it. Now if for sele tion they have which is not a lot. It was tho very good and worth placing 5 stars and long story telling of my food tasting. read more

Crazy that this Mexican food eatery with a small yet delicious menu sits within a 42,000-square-foot building that formerly served as an equestrian center. Now it's an eatery inside several rooms - a part of the largest distillery in Michigan. The BIG room, on a colored, swirling and polished cement floor is decorated with couches, picnic tables, a large screen for videos and corn-hole boards and other games. My spouse and I ordered a quesadilla filled with chicken, avocado, peppers. onions and cheese ($16). YUM. Prepared on a 10-inch tortilla, it was served with limey-tasting sauce of sour cream in a tiny ramekin. We picked it up at the window in the long hallway on the side of the distillery and ate at a picnic table with our bottles of Mexican Coke and Lime Jarrito in the big hall. Although the price is a bit more than we usually spend for a top-notch quesadilla, we probably will return for fish (cod) taco $6.00. The only major drawback is the distance between the parking area and the restaurant and distillery. It's up a myriad of steep steps, although there is a drop-off area near the building for those who are physically impaired.

Then about 20 people were seated and we knew this wasn't going to be a great experience and left. Thought better of waiting and having attitude. If staff isn't happy the experience is never good.

We got up, walked to the cash register, and he snapped back into reality and said 'not ordering food?!'... um NO! We planned to pay for our drinks, but he said 'no charge.' Not our first time visiting Mi Tequila, but our last!

We split side orders of rice and beans, and glad we did, because the portions were too much for one person. The dining room is not fancy, but clean, casual, and comfortable. I'll be returning to the area from time to time in the future, and El Zarape will be one of my go to dining options when I'm here. Best success to the owners, they have a good thing going. This is a wonderful place for quick and delicious Mexican fare. Everything is cooked on site. The burritos are sizable - the shredded beef is my favorite. And I love that the tortillas are grilled a bit to make them a tad crispy. The owner is always so nice to chat with. Look for the freestanding "drive thru" log building in the parking lot. read more
