My wife and I stopped in for the first tyme for a quick lunch, and were both impressed by the nicely decorated dining areas with a very traditional and comfortable feel with warm and soft lighting and multi generational latin music that had me missing my family reunions. We were served by Garret, who had a Great personality and was more than happy to help us decide on our order. She had the crunchy chicken taco that She said was Very good. We both shared the carne asada fries (happy hour version) and were both not only impressed by the flavor and tenderness of the meat, but liked the sauce that was poured over them so much as had to ask what it was. Garret proudly told us that it was their in house buffalo sauce (we asked for an extra helping to dip our tacos in. It was that good!), and He also let us know all of their salsa were made fresh and in house too. I added on an al pastor street taco and it was also tender and tasted great. Thanks Garret! If you're looking for authentic Mexican-style tacos at a very affordable price, this restaurant is a solid choice. Each of their tacos is packed with different flavors to choose from. The staff are always nice and very accommodating to help us navigate their menu around my wife's allergies. But the food is absolutely delicious! Our immediate go-to is the Surf & Turf Burrito. The asada is consistently marinated to perfection with a perfect Maillard and the shrimp is nicely seasoned. With the generous ratio of proteins to make sure you're getting the best of both worlds in every bite. Now I'm a sucker for a good shredded beef hard shell taco, but with that being said, I can also be very picky. Usually some places can't get the crisp right, sometimes the meat is too bland, or maybe it comes out too soggy... This place knocks it out of the park! Perfectly crispy, beef is seasoned to perfection, and with the choice of all of the flavorful salsas from their fresh salsa bar... I must say they nailed this item.
