My wife and I hopped in while we were waiting for another restaurant to be available. We ended up sitting at the bar to have a drink. We met the bartender Kaylen. She is an absolute blast! She was very helpful answered all the questions we had about the restaurant and the drinks. The drinks are made with absolute fresh ingredients and mixed extremely well. As far as food the only thing we had that day was chips and salsa believe it or not both outstanding! We highly recommend everyone give this restaurant a visit as soon as possible. Terrible service and restaurant experience from Margarita's. I came here with a group of four after 1pm . And we waited 45 mins before our food came out. The server did not apologize for the delay or announce anything to us. After 30 mins we asked them about our order and that's when they informed us they're backed up. I don't understand if there was only one cook but there was at least seven different servers. I won't be coming back here. So disappointing to come here. I'm sad to have to drop down a star because I truly enjoy this restaurant. I visited on Valentine's Day without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised to be seated quickly. The host was extremely friendly. We had originally requested a booth, but since none were available, she seated us at a table and went out of her way to bring a booster seat for my daughter and securely buckle it so she could comfortably reach the table. That extra effort was truly appreciated. Our waitress was kind, but she seemed very overwhelmed. After taking our order, we waited about 20 minutes for our appetizer and didn't receive a check-in during that time. I noticed the table in front of us had a different server who was very attentive, checking on them multiple times and offering refills on chips and drinks while we were still waiting for a water refill. When our appetizer finally arrived, it was actually brought out by the host, which honestly saved the experience in that moment. I highly recommend the queso fundido, it's absolutely incredible. Once our meals arrived, we finally saw our waitress again, and I had to ask for water refills several times. It wasn't a major issue, but it did feel like we were overlooked compared to other tables. That said, the meal itself was absolutely delicious, which definitely helped make up for the lack of attentiveness in service. I really enjoy Margaritas it's one of my favorite restaurants, and I will definitely be returning. The Valentine's Day decorations were cute and added a nice touch to the evening. Cute spot in old town Temecula! It's a bit tucked away on a side street due to the park renovation. We were seated immediately and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The decor is tasteful and there is even a glass window providing a partial view of the kitchen. I highly recommend anything with carne asada. It is perfectly cooked and has great flavor. The carnitas, on the other hand, were very dry. All of the dishes came with plenty of meat. The Cadillac margarita was good, and they have an extensive tequila list. We've always enjoyed coming to Margarita's until last night. The first bad sign was, a Saturday night 7:30pm, only 3 tables occupied. Old Town was packed with people, restaurants we walked by were full. After being seated, it took awhile for a server to acknowledge us. We were assigned to Jordan H. Once we had a server Jordan took our drink orders. In the past visits, the food has been delicious and wonderful service. Last night everyone's food was mediocre at best. The Aquachiles were so overpowered by the lime juice is was almost inedible. There was nothing balanced about it. Ceviche was bland. We were seated by the big window that looks into what looks like a server station area & beyond that the kitchen. Whenever we wanted Jordan, she was seated in the server station area on her cell phone texting, never checked in with us. We were a party of 6, clearly she knew she would automatically get 20% tip, which she didn't deserve at all! Jordan H was very sweet but clearly doesn't want to work, at least not in a restaurant. Ended up randomly finding this place while we made a stop at Old Town Temecula. They have generous portions and pretty tasty. Their table chips and salsa were fresh and quite addicting. Our table ordered the carne asada fries, carne asada plate, and carne asada tacos. And everyone loved everything they had. We were greeted promptly and seated in short order. Our server provided our place settings and menus. The Margaritas were quite good. My wife had their Enchiladas Suisas (sp) . I ordered the Chile Relleno. My wife loved her meal. Me, not so much. For me a thick, hearty sauce on the Relleno is necessary. This was not the case here. The sauce was very thin and light. All said, I would still return, but would avoid the Relleno! As a Vegas local I am a huge fan of bottomless mimosas. After some research, my husband and I decided a week day brunch was in the cards for us while we mosied along Old Town. They open at 11 and were quickly sat. My husband and I knew the $20 bottomless mimosas were a steal. We ate some of the complimentary chips and salsa while we decided on our meals. I love that you are able to order the brunch menu and off the regular. I had to go for the chorizo and eggs while my husband opted for a chicken quesadilla. I was so impressed with how on top of it our server was (I forgot her name unfortunately, but she was fantastic). Our mimosas were always filled and the food was out within 10-15 minutes. The food was fantastic. Not one complaint. The service was impeccable. And I love they do brunch every day until 1pm. We will be back. Temecula has had some of the best food we've ever had on a trip.
