Now, Luke did leave something out. I suspect that he wanted to avoid being indelicate, but I think it bears mentioning. This friendly, helpful clerk patrolling the floors and calling everyone "boss man" looks indigent. He is scrawny, dirty, and missing all of his front teeth. Friendly as hell, but quite a sight. I didn't know what it was either but I purchased one at one of the big box stores, came home to spread the rings on my truck and the tool broke. Literally broke in two. Went online to see if I could get one on the website that is named after the Brazilian rain forest and they only had the bad kind as well. I decided to try Potts to see if they had what I needed. It's a REAL hardware store so tools, fertilizer, seed, nuts, bolts, and more. They had exactly what I needed at a great price! Earlier this week, I stopped back in to Potts to get a few keys made. Most places are relying on machines to cut keys and the machines don't always get it right. The guys at Potts custom cut two keys that worked perfectly! They've earned my business - period. So the next time you're standing in the big box wondering if someone can help your version of a "ring spreader", check out Potts.

I started having a problem with the throttle control on the lawn vacuum engine. After a few phone calls to Home Depot and Agri-Fab I was referred to Faulk Brothers on Orr Rd, an AUTHORIZED Briggs and Stratton repair shop. A gentleman by the name of GERALD answered the phone. I explained to him that I recently purchased the machine and Agri-Fab referred me to Faulk Brothers for the repair. Before I could even get the words out of my mouth he said they ONLY REPAIR COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT and referred me to another company, Lay of The Land. I called them. They wanted me to bring it in. I'm a partially disabled veteran and the machine weighs over 350 lbs. I called Home Depot back and explained my problem. I WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! I told them I'd find a way to bring it back. Long story short, I wasn't A BIG LANDSCAPE COMPANY SO GERALD DIDN'T WANT TO BRING HIS LAZY BUTT OUT TO LOOK AT IT. I will say the next day he called AFTER Agri-Fab called him. He said he'd send someone out. I told him he must have lied to me the day before because I'm not a COMMERCIAL customer! Told him I'd figure something out and not to worry about it. Beware when you deal with Faulk Brothers. Especially, if you're THE LITTLE GUY!
