Wrong diagnosis, no mention of capsulitis or mortons neuroma at all. He really didn't check out my feet thouroughly at all. Went to another Podiatrist got the exam and diagnosis with treatment suggestions that will not cost me $450.00. His shoe recommendations were also not right for my specific foot mechanics. read more

I don't have to go to the doctors very often but did have to go see a a podiatrist after 10 years of putting it off. I by luck chose Dr. Tsutsumi and I am beyond thankful/grateful for the quality of care he provided along with his staff. The girls are so great at front office, back office and any time I had to call with questions or schedule an appointment. They are so cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful. I visited the riverside location. I was a little late to the appointment because the gps led me to the wrong location. I called and informed them that was I was bit lost. When I arrived 15 mins late I was greeted kindly and my experience was great. Everyone was so kind. I had my toddler with me and after having to have a minor procedure done (I didn't know it was going to happen) the staff helped out with "babysitting" my little one. Dr T was so nice and his bedside manor is both compassionate and informative. He has a very easy was of describing things that puts you at ease. My only complaint is that he can't be my primary care doctor!!! read more

I called to see if they took my insurance to get an appointment for my newly broken foot. The lady that answered the phone said she thinks she takes my insurance. She did not ask for my insurance info. I said ok...can I make an appointment? I had to prompt her for that. Then she said the next appointment is a week from now. Ok, thanks for your rudeness, and being unknowledgeable or just lazy with the insurance question and not helping me out. I will not be visiting this office because of the way to front desk staff treated me. read more

Visited Riverside location. The appointment was litttle hard to get (got mine 2wks from the date i called). The wait time was litttle long (30min) but the dr was really nice! He takes his time to listen and doesn't rush his appointments. I would definitely recommend! read more

After searching for a doctor who accepted my school insurance, I found Dr. Tsutsumi through my insurance listing and was pleased that he is local to where I live, I went to his Corona office. The office is clean, the staff are incredibly friendly and make a point to get to know you as an Individual, which is very important in the medical field. Dr. Tsutsumi's bedside manners are fantastic, he tries to connect with you as an individual and makes sure you are well informed with your condition, and helps patients to understand what is happening to reduce any fears or worries. I went to him because I had a bunion that needed surgery. He made sure he was clear in his explanations, he discussed his plan from start to finish, and was incredibly thorough. He wants to provide his patients with top notch care, and takes his work very seriously because in the end his ultimate goal is to have happy and healthy patients. I cannot recommend him enough, Dr. Tsutsumi and his staff are absolutely wonderful and really made my entire surgery and post-surgery process a complete breeze! read more

I received a cortisone shot which made my foot worse. Tsutsumi advised would not continue with a 2nd and 3rd shot. Recommend I get special shoes and inserts which I did and they seemed to help. Went in for a follow up visit, told Dr. my foot still hurt if I was on my feet for long periods. He seemed frustrated and rude. He said there was nothing else he could do for me since I didn't want anymore cortisone shots. Of course I didn't, it made the pain worse but he is the one who said he wasn't going to give me anymore. He said a last resort would be surgery but then said he wouldn't do it. I'm on disability and he made me feel as if I want to stay on disability. Far from the truth. I've made 3 very expensive purchases this year and you sure as heck don't make those kind of purchases being on disability. Make matters worse the girls in the office would not fill out my follow up visit form for disability. Terrible!! read more

My husband stepped on a piece of wood and a small chunk went and stayed inside his foot. I took him to urgent care and thought nothing was inside and prescribed him some antibiotics to prevent infection. We went to Dr. Tsutsumi 2 months later, because it wasnt heeling and always making puss. Knowing how long it has been he digged in his foot trying to get the piece, caused a bigger wood and got nothing out. We must have visited him on a regular basis and kept prescribing antibiotics, did an Xray (which was pointless since he knew that wood does not show in Xray). He should have known that if a wound is not healing, then there's something in there. He did say that was worried about doing a surgery on my husband's foot, because he did not want to cause any nerve or muscle damage. After 6 months of dealing with pain and infection, not being able to step on his foot, I convinced my husband to see another podiatrist. The new podiatrist was shocked with what's happening, and ordered same day MRI for us. We waited a couple of hours, had lunch and came back to find out that there's a piece of wood pushed into the muscle and causing infection. So he ordered immediate surgery for that. It was easy, wound was cleaned and closed completely with stitches. There was no concern with any muscle or nerve damage, and my husband was back on his feet within 3 weeks. Dr Tsutsumi was too busy to see the real problem, take care of his patient the way he should and too afraid to perform a very simple procedure. He made sure to get us back to his office every 2 weeks for the sole purpose of making money. read more

Went to this doctor after my horrible experience with Jeffrey Katz. Dr. Tsutsumi is great. Staff is very nice!! Not a long wait at all. He does not over book. Knows what he is talking about and is caring which most doctor these days are not. read more

So I was diagnosed with a tumor in my foot from wearing shoes to tight in the toe box. The doctor suggested he shrink the tumor using injections of cortisone. After the first injection I was told to come back in 2 weeks for another and then after that, 2 weeks for a third injection. I came out of the seat when I got the second injection due to the pain. Upon the third visit I asked if I needed it and he said yes. This was done to treat both feet within 12 weeks. After all was said and done I went to see another podiatrist. I was told that I should not have had that many injections and so close together either, if at all. The injections destroyed the fat pad on the bottom of my feet and now I live with pain, swelling and burning daily. It is extremely difficult to wear any shoes other than tennis shoes due to the pain. Going barefoot is impossible due to the bone hitting the ground, uncomfortable! You've been warned. read more
