So disappointing. After incessant emails confirming four (4) different times about a test drive with model X (and being offered a VIP appointment - not quite sure what that entailed - but emails pointed that it would be "seamless") we arranged care for our newborn and adjusted weekend schedules. When we arrived, we asked for our contact and was put in touch with a sales associate. We sat down, explained the confirmed appointment with model X. The sales associate confirmed that they didn't have model X. The associate offered up another model that we weren't interested in. We thanked them, explained we needed to see model X as needed to be sure if it fit in our garage. Surely this isn't how business is done, especially in the sales world. read more

Where do I begin...the sales guy I worked with Gary was great! Very helpful and worked with me and helped get me into exactly what I wanted! But I went in on a Saturday and had to go back on Wednesday to get my car. The manager that was driving the car a just bought was at families house and had a few to drink at 1pm n couldn't drive the car in for me to get. Okay. So I come go in on Wednesday and get my car and The next day is thanksgiving and I just couldn't be happier! Then on December 9th I'm told I had to put down more money, due to the paperwork and financing issues but that my payment would be pushed out 45 days for the day I sign the new papers. I get them and they still have all the same info. No extra days to come up with the note and the extra money. So I can and ask and am told we can only go to December 2nd because that's when the special u got your car ended. Not really my problem because it's not my job to do all that paperwork but ok. In the meantime I send over not 1 but 5 referrals with so far only 1 getting a car. They did help me out with the additional down payment with I am so thankful for. But my 90 days of xm radio..I only had for a week maybe 2 before it ended. I asked about it and was told I'll send the signal to it and I'm still waiting for that. I went to sign up so I can make my car payments online and it's telling me MY BIRTHDAY is WRONG! And my blue link with I was told 3yrs so it should b November of 2022 is actually don't September of 2022. Over all...I'm extremely disappointed in the way business has been conducted with this establishment. Other than the fact that I love my car I wish I would have never went there. To many things promised and not gotten and to many issues that are completely out of my control. It's the little things sometimes that count. And this establishment should be ashamed of them selves for making false advertisements lIke it did. I hope no one else has the issues I had. But I will be taking my business elsewhere next time and will make sure I let ppl know about my treatment. And not to mention my trade in has still not been paid off and I have a 6 more days until it dings my credit report!!! I'm not very happy at all. read more

The service at Rogers Auto Group is at an all-time low on delivery on customer service. I had a 9:15 am appointment to diagnose my car and come to find out it set for three hours before being looked at. Once looked at to receive a call with no message regarding my vehicle. I call back because now we are in hour five leaving numerous messages at the tech's desk than with the service department and again with tech and back again with the service department. It becomes very frustrating when this dealership pride itself on service but not delivery in there advertising promise. Communication is the key to any successful business. read more

I had my Hyundai worked on while I was out of town. The check engine light was on so I handed my car over to these guys before I left the state. They even paid for a cab ride for me to downtown. I called a few days later to check on the status and a guy told me my car was ready and to be picked up whenever I could get to it (no storage fee if your car is left there while you're out of town). The charge? Free. I was covered under my warrenty. Everyone seemed really helpful and the process was seemless. read more

Beware! This review is for the sales department. Shorter version: They have poor customer service and are dishonest. We were misled multiple times and no one cared to communicate with us in a timely manner regarding not being able to find the car we wanted. If you are promised a new Hyundai Elantra here in 1-2 days, don't believe it!! We were jerked around and given different accounts from different staff there; they couldn't keep their information consistent! My husband shook hands on a deal with Kevin Benavides and we still have no car (and apparently never will) from Rogers. We will take our business elsewhere to a place which deserves our business - one which is run honestly and cares about its customers. If you can't count on someone's word and a handshake, what can you count on?! Longer version: We went for a test drive recently and were told by Kevin Benavides that it should be no problem getting us the Elantra we wanted within 1-2 days. We began comparing prices at other dealerships and found Rogers to have the lowest price on the car. We returned and spent about 90 minutes there discussing pricing but still were weighing other options. We then received a voicemail from Kevin (still have it saved) a few days later stating he tracked down 4 cars like the one we wanted. So, about 2 days later, my husband went to Rogers and talked in person again with Kevin. They shook hands regarding a final price, my husband put down a deposit, and Kevin stated we'd have our car in 2-3 days. Three days later, I was worried that I wouldn't be driving my new car home that day, as I had been planning, since we've heard nothing from Rogers at this point since the handshake. We had made plans to switch car insurance, info at our parking garage, and info for my workplace's parking lot based on having the new car that day. My husband then called Rogers that afternoon and gets Kevin's voicemail. My husband then called Kevin's cell phone; Kevin states it's his day off, so there's nothing he can really do about the car then, and my husband should call the manager at Rogers. Wow, you care so much to ensure we get our car that you don't update us before you take your day off that our car is not in? Glad you were able to have fun on your day off and not have a care in the world, unlike us. We would've been understanding if he kept us in the loop if there were delays in getting our car, or if he admitted he made a promise he couldn't keep, but ignoring/forgetting about us and not being truthful/realistic is unacceptable. My husband then called manager Derrick the day we were to get the car, and Derrick states it is "impossible" to get the car we want, and we can call to get our deposit back the next day. He didn't even try to offer any solutions to the problem, so it felt like Rogers just didn't care to keep our business. My husband calls the next day, asks for Derrick, and is told it is his day off! I'm curious why we weren't offered to get the deposit back via the phone the night before.. They continued to jerk us around! My husband then calls and talks to Kevin and another manager, Brian. Brian asks us to wait 24 more hours, and though they can't promise anything, he would try to find us our car and may have found one in Kansas City. We're told they could "go over Derrick's head." Nice, they throw each other under the bus. We're told we would be called either way by 3pm the next day. We're told they are even having a "meeting" about our situation at the dealership. 3pm the next day rolls around, no phone call at all that day from Rogers. It was probably Brian's day off! Funny enough, Brian called the NEXT day (24 hours after the deadline he set) and reports Hyundai just doesn't frequently make the Elantra with our preferences (he just figured that out now, almost 2 weeks after our initial visit?!), but to compensate us, he would offer us the upgraded preferred package at "LITTLE to no extra cost," but it would still take a few more days for that car to come in. Note he didn't say "no extra cost." Do you smell a bait and switch here, too? He probably didn't know (since they don't seem to communicate well) that my husband already had gotten the deposit back that morning, and we would never consider trusting him or anyone there. read more

I brought my vehicle in to be service yesterday for a broken key in the ignition. Which, I finally realized my key wasn't broken in the ignition because I found my key today. I realized you guys wasn't honest enough about the situation to tell me that there wasn't any key broken in my ignition but charged like y'all pulled it out of the ignition. Really thieves.... 3 years ago I paid them $300 to change the seal on the transmission and drain and flush my Corvette that had 50,000 miles. A week later I went to my licensed five star mechanic for another issue and he showed me on the transmission the old seal on the transmission where Roger's could have not possibly taken the pan off. All they did was change the fluid which would have been about a $30 job so I got ripped off big time. Then while I was waiting in Roger's waiting room they had some kind of new car drawing and they asked me to fill out a raffle ticket and specifically give them my cell phone number which it took to win the drawing. Ever since that time I've been called daily by every single telemarketer scam out there and I regret going to Rogers to this day... Roger's is bad news stay away. read more

I've been bringing my car to Rogers Auto for 4 years for all services, and have had a mix of good and mediocre experiences. I think it's gotten worse over the years, but with only a couple data points I don't dare to claim that is a trend. However, this time I had a week-long bad experience with Rogers. I'm not sure if I'll bring my car in for standard oil changes anymore. I had to replace the transmission harness in my Hyundai Sonata 2013, and also decided to get my oil changed since I already brought the car in. The part needed to be ordered, and the estimated part arrival was 3-4 days. After 3 days, I still had no updates on whether the part arrived. I figured I'll wait another day. I called 4 times on the third day. It took 3 calls throughout the day (around 9am, 10am, 2pm) to reach the manager, but was still unable to obtain any kind of valuable information. The manager told me that he would take a walk around and ask Derrick my representative, to call me back. There was no response for 2 hours. Not sure what kind of walk he went on, maybe he was walking to Evanston. I call again at 4pm, and was forwarded to the manager again, who told me that my representative, Derrick, left on an emergency family emergency with no one else to cover for him. I feel like someone should have at least covered for him, or actively let his customers know that he is out, rather than waiting for them to reach out again. But still, no update on the car. On the 4th day I spoke with the manager again, who told me that the part was delivered the day before (on the 3rd day) and that the mechanics were working on it (why didn't he tell me this yesterday?!). He said that the car would be done in the evening, but would be brought out to a test drive at 8:30am on the 5th day. Finally I had some updates. On the 5th day I called around 9am and reached Derrick, my service rep. He said that the car would probably be done around 5:30pm (delayed from the original 8:30am test drive if all else went smoothly). That was fine by me, so long as there was some progress being made, albeit how slow. At 10:45am, he calls again and says that actually the car is done. Derrick had the good will to give me $15 off on my oil change for the delay and will put the car through the car wash. The $15 discount made the total out-the-door oil-change price competitive to other mechanics in the area. I tell him that I will go to Rogers right away. In about 20 minutes I arrive and paid for the services. (Thankfully the part and replacement cost was covered by warranty. Or is that why the service was so slow / subpar due to it not bringing Rogers any revenue? Perhaps.) I find my car sitting in the middle of the shop, unwashed. After asking some people around the area, they said that the car wash machine was broken. Hmm...it didn't seem to have broken down in the past 20 minutes, so I wondered why Derrick didn't know that at the start. I ask to just jump in my car and get out of there. Someone moved the cars in front of mine to let me know (thanks), and I was finally done with this experience. I will come back to this dealership for big maintenances, but only because it's the only one close in the area that is a certified Hyundai servicer. read more

While I have not bought a car from these guys, I have had one serviced there and my experience was nothing short of pleasant. The staff is nice, personable, and down to earth, the prices were great and they had everything done in less than 24 hours. The oil changes were especially cheap! He was very patient and listen to my wants and concerns about getting another car I chose to lease another 2018 GMC Terrain. I was so pleased with my 2014 I decided to get another one. Getting another car with the help of Mr. Walter Cade gave me a very excited and relaxed experience which could be at times very depressing and high anxiety. I am so glad to have him as my salesman. Best car-buying experience ever! Walked out with a car 2.5 hours after I came in, just as it should be. They found me financing, even for my --ahem-- less than ideal credit. Ended up with a car I really love, that has everything i could have wanted in a car and more (a Chevy Trax, a small SUV). Mike Echeuarria was my sales guy, couldn't be nicer. They have an insurance salesman in the building so you don't have to risk driving off the lot uninsured. Best part of all, a week after I bought the car, Mike called me back and told me that the finance department had gone back and brokered a different financing deal for me, effectively knocking $60/month off of my payments! Who DOES that?! Completely amazing. I am so thankful I found them! read more

Terrible dealership... A few years ago I was there for service and they had a "win a brand new Corvette contest". The only catch was that you had to give them your private cell phone because winners were only notified by cell phone. Like a fool I gave them my private cell phone and waited for a call that I had won the brand new Corvette, but all I got was scam phone calls from all over the world. I've had my cell phone number for 20 years without a problem but after I gave Rogers my cell phone number the scam phone calls continue to this day which is Unforgivable. Apparently they sold my private unlisted cell phone number to the dark web. Next I brought my car in to change the transmission filter which is very expensive service and they returned the car to me a day late. When I brought my car to a local mechanic that I have known for 30 years he showed me that they couldn't have possibly changed the transmission filter because the seals on the transmission pan where the original ones which means all they did is change the transmission fluid and charge me for dropping the pan and replacing the filter which would have been impossible to do without changing the seals. When I picked up my car it had a huge scratch and it appeared that high school kids were parking the car is in the lot waiting for the customers to pick their cars is up. Of course they denied having anything to do with the scratch and the manager didn't want to talk to me about it although it was a very fresh scratch deep in the door. The list goes on but I see on their website that all of their reviews are five star reviews which obviously are fake. Beware of this dealership they are con artists and only are concerned with making money for work that they didn't perform. read more

For the service department: If I have to call 7 times, get hung up on, only get my call returned via voicemail (i.e., you don't have the balls to actually call my phone), OnStar can't get a hold of you, and for four hours, our car was no where to be found, you need some basic training. I feel sorry for the people who answer the phones there - no wonder it's an automated system, if your service crew is a bunch of morons. read more

I purchased a car from Rogers Auto Group in August 2017 and immediately, maybe a day or two later, after taking possession of the vehicle I began having problems. The car would kind of stall before jumping into gear, make whining noises when pressing the gas pedal, and also make the same whining sound upon starting. I took it back to the dealership and they kept it a week. Upon picking it up they stated nothing was wrong so I went about my way. Do not go to Rogers Auto for service! We took our 2004 Aztek in due to a grinding sound in the rear. They charged us $700, did not return the old parts to us, and 2 days later the grinding sound came back. We took it back and they quoted us $3500 to fix it. My husband found the part online for $700 and was quoted under a thousand to replace the part. We decided instead to sell the Aztek and buy a new car, however, since we had some great incentives. We took the Aztek to the mechanic who quoted us under a thousand to take alook at it before selling it, and learned that the part didn't even need to be replaced - for under $300 he flushed the system and now it is running fine. However, we don't need 2 cars - anyone in the market for a 2004 AWD Aztek with nothing wrong with it? read more

When I came back to receive finishing services on car the overseer (the salesman's boss) was totally rude to me for no reason at all. Although, I'm the customer I remained professional. Had an appointment for 10:30am on Thursday. I made it on Tuesday. Somehow between those two days they felt it necessary to contact me six times. 2 phone calls, 2 emails & 2 texts. I get there. Meet Chris Bradley who doesn't break a smile once. We sit down and he start to ask what I'm looking for. At this point I'm thinking since I spoke with your customer support team for over 30 mins, that they would have sent you the info on the cars I wanted and that they would be ready to test drive but nothing. Zero.Zip. It takes over a hour for me to sit in a car. But the car is in front of the store with this guy. I have to show him where the cars I'm interested in are on their website. Finally get to drive one and I get the salesman to open up a little, still no smile. Finally the 2 cars I liked before are the ones I go with. Imagine that! I Tell them only 3 lenders can pull my credit and they agree. Then they try to full list me. Meaning giving me the full listed price of the car. I walk out. He's texting me and I Send them a picture of the same car for $2k less and texts go blank until I get a call on Monday weirdly asking me how my experience at the other dealership was. I told him to match the price or stop bothering me. Then today I find out this place sent my credit to 6 lenders. I can't believe this horrible sales person at this horrible place. read more

Came here two months ago for an oil change took over 3 hours. Gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were "busy" and came back for a filter replacement. Though I didn't buy my Hyundai at Rogers, I've been taking it there for around 6 years because they ALWAYS went above and beyond. The service guys are incredibly helpful and great to talk to, patient when answering my questions. They lost a customer today, though. I've always felt like I was bothering the women at the service des and who answer the phones, which is a complete 180 from the way the techs act. Today I called because my car wouldn't start. After it was serviced in late October, it would sometimes not start--and not an issue where it would catch but not turn over, it wouldn't even start. The car had this issue a few years ago and it was a faulty starter motor. That time, Rogers sent someone out to jump my car so it could get to the dealership for service. Today when I called, I was told there was absolutely no one who could help at all. They're too busy and there's no one to send out, no one can help, I'm totally on my own. I understand them being busy, but the kicker was, when I apologized for being frustrated, the woman on the phone told me there was no way it was their fault that the car wouldn't start. I have no clue it if was...all I know is that this problem started two days after I got the car back from them and has gotten demonstrably worse. This is identical to a previous issue that WAS a faulty part, and as a loyal customer of many years I expected some sense of being sorry or concerned or at least getting the same level of service I got in the past. read more

I am currently looking for a used car and recently visited Rogers Auto Group on S. Michigan. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly. As soon as you walk in the door someone is there to greet you and get you started. I have only visited on Saturday (reminder: dealerships are not open on Sunday in IL) and both times I had to wait about 10-15 minutes, which was not at all a problem. They have also been quick to return my calls and follow up by phone when they say they will. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything yet. The reason I'm only rating them 3 stars is that they're the only dealership I've visited and I don't have anything to compare them to. It's been quite awhile since the last time I looked for a car, but it's possible I'll come back and rate them higher once I visit other places. read more

Unfortunately I own a Chevy and was stuck taking my car to this dealer for service. When you arrive, you basically sit in your car for about 10 minutes until someone acknowledges you. During this time, all of the employees sit at their service desks and ignore the customers while they make conversation with each other. Once they took my car, the first thing he says is that they are backed up and they'll have to keep it overnight. They ended up fixing my car and had it for overnight. I came back to pick up my car and waited about another 15-20 minutes until they had it ready (maybe they were washing it like the other cars I saw people picking up?) nope, it came back and was still dirty. No big deal, but what were they doing for 20 minutes? and charging me a $100 deductible, which I didn't realize my policy covers and I should not have been charged. I've been calling and trying to get ahold of the service manager and leaving voicemails to no avail. They still send me their advertisements every few weeks in the mail, however they can't return a phone call or talk to me. Absolutely horrible read more

My feedback is related to my recent service experience. I think the service area does excellent work and I have always been satisfied. However, I think their Covid-19 safety is not good, and left me feeling uncomfortable. Several of the service writers were not masked. When I asked about it, one person said it is because he was not within 6-ft of someone, which he actually was. But even so, this is an indoor garage. They didn't even have the doors open. I asked the service manager about the masks and he said that his staff wears masks like 10 hours a day, and I can't expect that they wear them all the time, as they have to eat, drink, etc and they get uncomfortable. But, it was 8:30AM and no one was eating. I shared that if children in school wear masks all day, I think adults can too. I asked if he could ask the people there to put their masks on. He seemed irritated but said he would, but 15 minutes later - no change. Also, when I paid for my car later, both women in the office that takes payment weren't wearing masks. This is unsafe for both of them and then also for me, as there is a window barrier up, but there is also openings for payment and to talk to one another. I am disappointed that Rogers is not doing more to protect their staff and their customers. (My service writer, Dwayne was great.) read more

Sales: My experience with Rogers Auto started out very, very negative. We had a crisis. Wrecked car. Needed a new one pretty much now. Not the position you want to be in when buying a new car. I called looking for a specific model. The person I talked to said, 'oh yes... we have that car in many trims and colors.' Excellent. We go there, and nope... not a one on the lot. We walk around with our salesman, who rocked by the way, but couldn't find one. They did have a car that we loved in the right price. Being in a pinch, we bought it. I would have left regardless if I didn't need to buy a car that day. The finance person was an absolute jerk. I think he has a problem with women. He was perfectly nice to me, but talked down to my fiance. I kind of wanted to punch him in the face. I asked my salesrep about him. He confirmed that he was a jerk, and that he has a problem with minorities and women. Wow. Our car is awesome, I love it. Service Department: You people. You people are awesome. Very polite on the phone. Prompt call back if you leave a message. In person, you can tell they're busy as all get out, but they're still friendly and answer your questions. Not in the over the top irritating way you get from some service representatives either. Friendly while being direct and to the point. Perfect. You all get an A++. Go into the show room and tell the jerks there to stop being jerks. Would I come back? I don't know. I always but always buy GM. I scheduled my appt through the internet sales. When I arrived I realized there had been no communication between the internet sales person and the floor sales staff. No one was expecting me... adding some unnecessary wait time. The quote I received through the internet described the wrong trim/ model (SLT2 vs SLT). I am willing to believe this was an honest mistake. If you do use Rogers, I suggest you contact them directly. I purchased a vehicle 4 days ago and this dealership proved after you sign, you are forgotten as a customer. During the transaction, there was no sticker price and rep took over an hour to tell me a price. Price was much higher than the same car with its features plus lower mileage from other dealers in the area. After negotiation and purchase, they did not transfer over the full registration from old to new vehicle during the purchase. The next day I returned to receive the missing registration. I was asked by Manny, the sales manager, to wait 15-20 mins in their waiting area and he would assist me himself since the sales rep was off. I gave him 30 mins and still had to walk up the the counter to ask for an update. He claimed he went to find me but didn't see me (he never walked to waiting area), quickly printed one of the documents that I was waiting an unnecessary 30mins for, and stated that the car was in storage so he can't help today with the sticker, return tomorrow after he informs me it's there. I questioned him since that sounded odd, but he assured me nothing he could do today, return tomorrow. I didn't receive any call from Manny the following day so I called the dealership only to leave voicemails with no response. When I asked for Manny's manager's name, Alex, phone rep, kept talking over me to ask "what is this regarding?" instead of providing the information and finally stated that the car was on the premises since they normally don't move cars that quick, she would have someone call me. That was very interesting since the manager just the day before wasted my time saying that car was not there so he couldn't help. Did Manny just not want to help me or was he too busy? Shortly after Manny called saying he has the car sticker for me. When I arrived on yesterday, I asked to speak to a manager above Manny, the sales manager, to file a complaint and no one would provide a name, stated the managers were off, there is no written complaint system, no one tried to make amends. Manny asked did I want to speak to him and I said No I want to speak to who is above you due to yesterday. His response was " you didn't seem that upset yesterday", he seemed irritated with me then walking away from me with his back to me said you can talk to my partner Victor since there is no other manager here and did not provide his manager's name. This was not a valid, respectful response from a manger to a customer. I spoke to Victor. He apologized that I had a bad experience and they will use this feedback to help OTHER customers. Again I asked for a manager's name and for an avenue to file a written service complaint but no one spoke up so I walked out. I returned with a member of my counsel because I was so disheartened about the bad service experience, not feeling like valued customer since the manager wasted my time and couldn't locate the vehicle to resolve transferring registration that should've been completed the day of purchase, and still no apology from Manny the sales manager, that I wanted to return to car. This location obviously did not want or need me as a customer after I signed for the car since I was disregarded and had to come up to the dealership 3 days in a row. I couldn't even enjoy the purchase. My original sales rep stopped what he was doing to sit with myself and agent to discuss resolution/return. He was very apologetic and tried to make amends which were appreciated. However, I shared that the team approach to customer service is lacking at this location, if one sales rep, Isi, was the only one to show me a sense of being a valued customer after 3 days and 4 trips of wasted gas. I further shared that I will not be using this location for service since there is no guarantee the one person, out of the 3 days of meeting their staff, that understands how to treat a customer will be working. Worst team to do business with. I wouldn't recommend even to my enemies. Sales team will trick you, financing team will try to scam & rip you. Management team is useless. They don't give a S*#~% about you. After the sale they never call you. Service department is a joke. 3 weeks after I bought brand new truck I had a problem with it, they told me leave it there it will be a week before they can look at it and let me know what's wrong not to mention they were not even offering me a loaner. When I first purchased the car, I was asked by the salesman to write a review. I decided not to because I wanted to wait and see what would happen. The service center is small so trying to keep the maintenance on the vehicle is rough. Waiting 3 hours for service is unfortunate. Also, six months after purchasing the vehicle, a young lady called me twice a day for over a week trying to convince me to trade in my vehicle. I told her i think it was more important to help me keep the maintenance on the vehicle than collect more debt. Lol she never called back. read more

I had the worst experience ever. My car had to be towed in on Tuesday, Oct 9. When I arrived at Rogers Auto Group. I was rudely told to just leave my car on the street. There wasn't any room. My car could not be looked at until seven days later. There was not any place to leave my car on the street. I had called before I brought it over there. I would not recommend this place. #RogersAuto service department is the worst I been trying to get them to check out this sensor problem for the last two months now that it's cold it got worse. Will never do business with this fraudulent place, ever! Went to trade my care in today for the exact same car as mine (same year, color, trim, features and exact same mileage), but theirs had a different interior color I wanted. Both cars had the exact same value on kelly blue book, but theirs was priced $5,000.00 dollars over the blue book value. Salesperson told me his manager said the best he could do was reduce the price by $3 000.00, a so-called march madness sale, still leaving it $2,000.00 over the blue book value. Did some research today and noticed how all their vehicles are significantly overpriced when compared to other dealerships of the same caliber. No thanks! Find you another sucker. read more

These people are the lowest form of life!! They send mail that does not have their name on it but on outside of envelope says "accts div /report update" in left hand corner, on bottom right of envelope says 'official notice, imortant documentation encolosed." They try to make it look like an official piece of mail from a billing agency or government agency. This dealership can go screw themselves!! They are nothing but scam artists.
